I know, I know.. they all say "if you have to ask if you're in love, then you're not." I just really am very confused. Help me?
Okay, so, theres this kid. we'll call him "jack" we went out about 4 years ago. Ever since then I cant get him off of my mind. whenever we talk on the phone i cant stop thinking about him for weeks after and even when we dont talk on the phone i still cant stop thinking about him. If I have a boyfriend my relationship suffers because of me not being able to stop thinking or wanting him back. However, whenever he has a girlfriend it doesn't bother me. I just know I have no place to even get upset because I'm the one that broke up with him. Im not sure. Can someone please help me kind of sort out my feelings and tell me why i feel like this all the time? please?

What it is, is that your over him, but still have feelings for him. Those feelings will most likely never go away, because he was your first love. And your first love is like, your always love, unfortunately. But you need to find someone to fill the whole that he left, or better yet, talk to him about it. If he's a jerk to you about it, don't listen to your friends when they say 'He's not worth your time, get over him' because you really can't help yourself but like him more. But you jsut need to find someone to fill that whole.
I hope this helped you and anyone else who read it (:
