Speak Out Topic

I'm going to participate in a Speak Out program at my school, where I have to give a speech. We have to pick a topic - any - of our choice to talk about, three minutes or so tops. Well I need to give in a topic by tomorrow or after tomorrow maximum, and so far my teacher has advised me to talk about something I know from personal experience. So far, I could only think of depression: why do kids fall in to it, and how can it be stopped, the abuse of drugs, and thats it, but thats not personal experience. I was depressed for around a year, but I was in seventh grade and its unpleasnt to think of it. im a sophmore now, but ANYWAY, does anyone have any ideas for important topics, something that would get me picked? regardless of personal experi...

ok so here's the deal. me and drew went out for 2 1/2 years. everything was perfect and then he went to college. (i'm a highschool senior) he came home every weekend. its been almost 3 months since he's been there. we've had several problems since he's been there. he wanted me to be ok with him at another girls dorm til 1am dancing with a bunch of people. i felt uncomfortable and he didnt understand why. basically we didnt understand each others point of views. i got jealous for no reason. he broke up with me tuesday night. he says he still loves me and the last thing he wants to do is lose me but he feels as if its best. we were both miserable during the week bc i missed him and he couldnt do anything about it. i'm really hoping this is ju...

If you dont like hearing about sexual things i suggest you stop reading at this point :-)
I asked a question about the pill (birth control) and found out it was 99.9% effective. Does that mean the guy could cum inside the girl and even then there would only be a .1% chance? or is the 99.9% chance with using a condom and pulling out?

im so confused! i am going out with ( lets call him bob ) bob but i feel like im using him just to get to ( lets call him fred ) fred. i know its not right but i actually love fred! what should i do. i dont want to hurt bob but even if i break up with bob doesnt mean that i will get fred. HELP!

My family is conecting our two computers to the internet through some sort of wireless contraption. When I go to the computer that orginally didn't have internet and is farthest away from the connector, it says that the connection is little or none. Is there a way I can make the reception better, because right now all I get is "this page cannot be displayed."
Keep in mind that the item is connected to a computer with internet already, has 3 lights on it with "Power", "Broadband Link", and "Local Network" under the lights, which are all on. It also says SBC on the front.
Any help would be appreciated!

yesterday a boy came over that i really like. Ok so things got heated and we started kissing, makin out a lot.yeah. Then we got into my room and he fingered me. Now im afraid that maybe he doesn't like me or somethin or just doesn't have any feelings for me. He's not the kind of guy that would use a girl like me like that because I know him really well and he treats me differently than other girls (in a good way)but for some reason I'm still worried that he's just gonna forget about me and go with another girl or something. Christmas Gifts

Okay so I've been dating my boyfriend for about 3 months and I'm trying to figure out what I want to get him for Christmas. I've gone to the mall with him a few times and have seen things he wanted to get, but when I say, "Oh maybe I'll get you that for Christmas" he says, "No, I can buy that for myself" (since he has a great job). So what's a gift I could get that would set itself apart from other things? I mean, I want to get him something special but I can't think of anything that can't be bought at a mall.
Please Help!
P.S. I've already made him dinner once, so I don't want to repeat that so soon.

I got contacts a few days ago and they've worked well. The problem is that they seem to be riding on my eyes fairly low, though they still cover the colored party of my eye. I have a stigmatism, so I don't know if that has anything to do with this, because I know I have the special contacts for that conditions. I've tried puting the contacts in different eyes, so I'm positive I have the right eyes. Is this normal.

I am a sophmore in highschool and I have been starting to talk to my old elementary school friend/ kinda of middle school boyfriend. His name is Tommie and i have known him forever. He now talks to be online alot and clearly is sort of interested but he is just so stupid! I mean he is really smart in school but is common sense towards girls is completly terrible. Me and my friends always ask him to come hangout or whatever and hes like yeaaa, then oh i cant go out.. i dont know. i am starting to like him and if i talk to him online later what should i say? good conversation starters/ how can i kind of tell him how i feel?
