fights - assembly

Today in school they had assemblys for each grasde level well it was all about fighting. this is my first year at my school because i moved I'm a junoir well the school i go to now has not had a fight until this year like we've like 3-4 fights already i mean idk to me that not realy alot my old school we had tons of fights i mean constantly fights some would be bad and some would not. point here is my school and the people in it make this big deal about the fights saying they are going to end up being a bad school and what not. To me i want people to stop talking about it cause its driving me crazy i think they are over reacting about it.
I don't know if i should just let it bother me and aggravate me or just let it blow by....

Do you think that giving your best friend a gift card is too impersonal?
Because the thing is even though we are really close I have no clue what to give her. Then any time I ask what she wants she just says, 'Whatever you know what I like.' And infact I do know what she likes but she seems to already have everything.
So is a gift card really something you could give a best friend?

my parents dont let me on the computer anymore so ive decided to buy a laptop so i can get my school work done.. but its takin awhile for me to find one so i want to get a pda or palm piolet .. does anyone know anything about them? or have any suggestions? can i download AIM on them?

ok i nedd help like now please please please.
ok right well my skin is normally so good its always been soft and clear but when i do get a spot i get one HUGE one and for the past 2 days my faces has gone into total breakdown.... i have like 4 spots and theyre quite red and then i have an old on ethats not a spot anymore but a red scarwhat do i do!!???? im going out to dinner with loadsa friends tonight and i dont know what to do please tell me the best thing that will get rid of them in like 8 hours please im just drinking water and not wearign any make-up as a detox but please help a fast spot clearing hting and i dunno if i can pop down the shops just anything please!!!!!!! sorry long but ill rate really high

I have a huge problem.....I'm a failure at everything in life . All my previous friends have told me so and my whole family is CONSTANTLY telling me that I'm a failure. Even people who don't know me personally, tell me that I'm a failure when they hear about me. So , what they're saying (that I'm a failure) is true, since so many people have told me the same thing. Before, hearing that statement would motivate me to work really hard. And it would work because I would achieve my goals, temporarily. Now, whenever anyone tells me I'm a failure, it doesn't motivate me anymore. Instead, I get really sad and stay in my room alone and cry. I even skip going to college because I'm so sad and don't want to be annoyed by anymore people telling me the...

college newspaper is slandering me

I have a question that I really can't ask anyone else about because it is too humiliating. Well at the college I go to there is a weekly campus newspaper. I was reading the classified section the other day and under personals it had my name (just my first name), and then is said (my name), STAY AWAY!! I thought it was just a one time thing but then the next week it had my name under the personals again and this time is said (my name)," masturbation is fun."
This guy that had been really mean to me even brought it up, and asked me if I had been reading the paper. I can't prove that it was him doing this, but isnt this a form of harassmant, or slander? Could I sue the college over this? This guy that has been mean to me...

I have a question about a guy who I'm friends with. He had invited me and some other friends of his to celebrate his wifes birtday at a local restaurant.
Well I was the 3rd person to arrive and from the minute I sat down next to him and his wife he gave me attitude. He asked me a question and I thought he said "where's the gang", I aswered that they hadnt arrived yet. Then he YELLED at me and said "I SAID WHERES THE GIG"!
When everyone else had arrived (there was about 20 people) his wife started opening her gifts. When she opened my gift someone asked where the card was. I didnt get her a card, just a gift and he (her husband) snapped "there IS no card".

Good friend, Annoying personality

OK well here it goes. My friend Marissa is my bestfriend but shes been really EXTREAMLY getting on my nervs latly. Shes making me think of her as a skank that leads guys on. Everytime i meet a new guy and talk to him after a while she ends up finding him too, which i dont mind at all dont get me wrong, but then they start talking more and more cause she talks "dirty" to them. She says shes only kidding when i confront her about it and she THINKS they know that but OBVIOUSLY the guys do NOT know she is. Ive asked my guy friends and they think shes serious. So that makes them better friends with her then me now and like her more! And it really pisses me off cause they all end up liking her more. Im with her all the time so its kinda...

Plastic surgery.

I've never been a big fan of my nose and I've always thought that if I got plastic surgery, I would look a million times better. I don't want anything huge - just that little bump that some people have in the middle of their nose removed and straightened - but my parents are both against it because of the risks. What kinds of risks are there, exactly, with very minor plastic surgery like this? I understand that it could possibly go wrong but if I go to a surgeon that I KNOW is a good surgeon, wouldn't that eliminate that risk?

Is there a way I can get soft ringlets by using a curling iron? I've tried but it all just kind of clumps together and doesn't make separate little curls. My hair is shoulder-length.
