This is probably going to be very long, so thanks in advance for reading all the way through it. I'm 22, my Mom and Dad are both 42. My mother has always been the sensible, more mature, (sometimes overbearing) one, while my Dad has basically never grown up. They divorced when I was 5, and have both since remarried twice. My dad just got re-married tonight actually. To a 35 year old woman named Carla.
More background: my Dad has been partying since he was 15, its why his first two marriages didn't work out. He's an alcoholic (not the abusive to anyone else kind, but the kind who drinks maybe 40-45 beers a day and really depends on it to manage his mood, stress, etc.- its sad) and still has the same old buddies he grew up with who ar...

When I was about 13, I decided that I never want to get married and I still feel this way and believe that I will always feel this way. I guess it does kind of reflect on my family because both my parents have been married multiple times but it isn't just because of that. It seems as if married means nothing anymore to most people (not all people, I know). So I don't know, people are always telling me that not all marriages end and that mine doesn't have to be all bad like my parents and I know that but I just dont see myself getting married. Does anyone else feel this is way or am I alone? Please don't tell me reason why marriage is so great and how if it's the right person it'll work because I've heard it all before. 17/f

scanning/ printing cord

does anyone know what a scanning/ printing cord looks like?
i need to scan something but i can't find the cord that goes to the scanner... i don't even know what it's supposed to look like.
i found a cord that's coming off it, but the thing your (supposedly) supposed to use doesnt fit anywhere in my computer!

i think mostly my sex drive is actually pretty much the same but.... it's just that even when i'm horny i cant get, i'm just going to be bold, because i don't see any way around it at the moment- wet. i know it's vulgar, but i couldnt think of any other way to put it. what should i do??

Brown period blood?

I started my period on the 6th of July, a Thursday, and everything seemed normal, red blood. Then on the Sunday, as instructed by my doctor, I started my birth control pills (for the first time). Since then, my period blood is dark brown, almost black? And I doubt it is just dried blood, seeing as when I wipe, the fresh flowing blood is the exact same colour. What's going on? Is it related to the birth control pills? If it helps, I still have my period at the moment, and it's showing no signs of stopping, and I'm 15 years old and have been having my period since January 13th 2005, not regular.

I have been going out with this guy a few states away, he calls and we instant message. the fact is, i really do like him, just not how he wants me to. he is 2 years younger, and is uncumfortable with talking about love and stuff,i still want the freind ship, and i still like him sort of, but i want more, wht should i do!?!

ok. its me the problem with the mom medling in her business! i'm always scared that everywhere i go, people will take pictures of me and put them on their myspace and she will see them all! and it happends to me all the time! how can i get over this? i don't do anything bad, i just get nervous. i don't know! i can't just ask people not to put pictures and i can't just ask them not to comment because they'll think i'm a nerd. i already made other excuses. i can't just keep doing this. please please please help me and please don't just say "tell you're mother to stop" because it doesn't work like that. ty very much

I have a lil pot belly and its bugging me i dont eat fast food junk food or anything.. i eat healthy and i have been eating healthy for 3 years and i dont just sit around all day doing nothing im an active person i do hip hop dancing and i have been doin it for years and i could of imagined that my belly would have flattened by then but it hasnt.. its not noticable to others because i look skinny to them because of my height and stuff but my belly is the only thing thats kinda fat on me.. i have tried everything to get rid of it but nothing has seemed to work.. i know i shouldnt care about it because its not like a gross huge belly its just a lil one.. so please if you would people what else is there for me to do to get rid of it please help it would make me happy

I will try and explain this without rambling on. There is this guy, "Q" is what we will call him. Well I have liked "Q" for awhile. We messed around and stuff (not bad, making out, not much worse than that), but I thought he liked me and that was why he was doing stuff with me, but then I came to realize he was just using me. I don't get why he doesn't like me. He gives me mixed signals like he likes me, then he doesn't. He knows I like him (or I think he still does), so he takes advantage of that. I'm just confused..and he likes so many other girls (which I'm not part of that list). And I really really don't want to like him, but I can't help it. I might even love him, not even joking. My Knee.

Well my knee hasnt been like acting right. If i keep it in place for a long time and move it, it feels like a pulled a muscle and hurts a lot! Or if im squating and come up it hurt really bad. And like I'd be laying on the floor on my back. with my legs in the air. and i'd make my legs straight and then bend the over to see the difference in my knees. and the sore one like cracks after a while.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?
