horror movies

why do people like horror movies, dont get me wrong, i love them, but why do we? because thewy scare us, and fear isnt a good thing right? also, how come movies have changed throught the years, like "the evil dead" from the 60's is so much scarier, and bloody than something from the 80's, or today. thanks.

well im a quiet guy. 15/m by the way. and the other day me and a few freinds drank...a lot. and i got pissed, nd i started to pee on one of the streets, and according to somebody, a really popular girl from school saw me, and told her freind "he's(me) disgusting!!" so yeah, should i be freaking? and what do i do if she tells everyone!?

Foot (bunion) surgery

I have a bunion (pretty small/medium) on my left foot, and got approved to have surgery to remove it and reallign my foot. I was wondering a few things:
-if anyone has had it, how long does it generally take to heal, and be back on your feet?
-Is there a lot of post-surgery pain?
-Also, i was told that i wouldn't be able to get the area wet, so I'd have to cover it with a bag while taking a shower.. are there any alternatives, and how annoying is this?
Any other feedback on bunion surgery is greatly appreciated!

I have this weird thing where when i touch something with one hand i have to touhc the same thing with the other hand or if my toes touch the floor and my other foot touched the carpet i have to touch the floor with the foot that didnt touch i t and the other one to touch the carpet i dont kno why! why do i often do this!?

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has read The War Of The Worlds book by H.G. Wells If anyone has, and they might know the answers to any of these three questions please let me know. It'd really help me out. Thank you!!
1. What historical disaster does the narrator refer to in the book?
2. When the martians died, where was the message sent to first?
3. What technology was gained from the martians?

Pointe Shoes

In this picture, there is a pair of pointe shoes.
Ive had my pointe shoes for like .. 2 months now. They are very very unflexible. They don't bend like the ones in the pictures do.
Is there a way for me to get them like that?

Breaking a Commandment?

Okay, two things. First of all, I'm a very religous person -- or I try to be. But I have an issue with one of the commandments. Is it wrong for me to "want to have sex with" another woman's husband? He's middle-aged and I'm only 13/f! Which kind of scares me... but he's famous and everything and is like... 41 so yeah. Anyways, my other problem is this...

piercing of the ears

15/f okay. I already have one piercing on each ear. And I really want a second one. Not a cartilige (sp?) but like another piercing on each of my ears. However, my dad won't let me get one. No matter how much I beg him, he will NOT let me get one. I was just wondering, if a person would be able to do it her/himself? Did anyone here do it? Does it hurt? Can there be an infection if proper medical treatment isn't used? Thanks in advance :)

is there a way to "update" your phone quickly to find service? sometimes i'll have analog service, and it'll take a while to find digital [even though i know i'm in a place that has it.] anything- calling something, certain buttons to press, etc.? just curious. i'll provide more info if needed.

Can i get The Life i Want

I have a distinct picture of what i want my future to look like (i want to be married to the great guy, with great kids, and live in a beautful house, and be the ultimate soccer mom (president of the PTA...on several charity boards etc.)
I'm really worried that i wont get this life, i dont want to sound like a snob...but if i end up living ni a asmall shack, with no husband and no kids, i'll be reallly sad.)
Does anyone ever really get the exact life they want?
