horror movies

Question Posted Monday May 7 2007, 4:02 pm

why do people like horror movies, dont get me wrong, i love them, but why do we? because thewy scare us, and fear isnt a good thing right? also, how come movies have changed throught the years, like "the evil dead" from the 60's is so much scarier, and bloody than something from the 80's, or today. thanks.

As an alltime scary movie fan, i think it`s the thrill that makes them so loveable. like you don`t know whats coming next, and you hold your breath. Kind of like a natural high.
""the evil dead" from the 60's is so much scarier" -- this is your own opinion.
but i also think that they were scarier back then because thats when they were really new, and people didn`t know what to expect.
hope i helped
xo
