Sorry if this is under the wrong category.
This Thursday, I am getting my tonsils out at the ENT. I'm so scared though. Everyone is telling me that it hurts to bad afterwards and a bunch of other bad things. I can't even sleep because I'm so scared that something will go wrong. If I'm like this now, I'm going to be even worse the day of the surgery.
Does anyone know of something I can do before the surgery to help me relax about this? Or if you have had your tonsils out, what did you feel like afterwards and what all happened?

Injured and need to lose weight.

I'm Tasha and I am using my friends advicenators site (with her permission!) to ask a question.
I recently got injured badly during gymnastics and my leg broke in several places- to make a long story short I will be in a cast for another 8 weeks about, then in a soft cast. I am a little fat and I use to work out but now I cannot and I really need to loose weight before summer and I was so close! Now I feel it will be impossible. Does anyone know any diets which I can do that will make me lose weight without without exersize because I can't. I don't care how hard it is or how it may be unhealthy to do it because at this point I just need it.

we went out for a year and a half and he cheated on me with some other girl then he cheated on her with me and told me we were gonna get back together.. we had sex and everything and he told me he loved me then out of nowhere he told me he doesnt think our relationship is gonna work out and told me he doesnt want to see me anymore. i told him i didnt wanna talk to him anymore because theres no reason because ill just keep falling in love with him and never get over him. the problem is he wont stop calling.. and he calls from private numbers. and he tries to be my friend! i dont get it does he still love me?

Im 15 years old and around 120 pounds. I had unprotected sex the week I was on my placebo pills for birth control. I dicided to take emergency contreception and I took it on the 3rd day after unprotected sex. I consider my chances of pregnancy low because I used the pill as directed for both birth control and emergency contreception. But now I may be experiencing signs of pregnancy, or because my body is used to the pill. I started taking the pill a month ago, my doctor told me it was effective after 1 week of use. I had the unprotected sex about 2 days after my period that month. I started my regualar birth control again 3 days after unprotected sex. All of a sudden in a short period, my boobs have gotten larger, and I do feel slightly sic...

My ex dumped me cause she wasnt felling it, Any way I want her back but she likes for othere guys, and just wants to stay freinds. I cant live without her she is the love of my life, and I cant let her go. Two nights ago i was out with some friends and we wanted to call my "bff" to see what she would say. she is now going out with my brother and it ruined our friendship. she was say that she used me to get to my brother and it really bothers me. and saying that she wanted to fight me because she knew she would beet me up. i dont no what to do now she talked about me behind my back. i am confused and i would like to have someones advice. thank you

I get a sharp pain =S

When me and my boyfriend are having intercourse and he goes in deep or in from behind I feel a very sharp pain inside just above my pelvic region. This has been occuring alot. We have tried giving it a break for months but the pain is always there whenever we have sex no matter how long we relax and stay away from having sex. I am beginning to get worried and i can only get a doctors appointment next month. What do you think it is, how and when will it go away and what can I do to help it go away faster? Please help me!?!

here's the deal, i grew up in a upper class family and have bene kind of spoiled my entire life. and i like it... but the thing is i cannot live a life like that when i'm older if i'm not a) a doctor b) a lawyer c) a scientist, engineer, business, something along the lines of that! but i'm not interested in any of that. i want to be a celebrity, like a lot of other girls. but i know that cannot happen since it is 1 out of a million. or i'd like to be a fashion magazine editor (also hard), nutritionist, yoga teacher, makeup artist, etc.... all of the above either doesn't pay alot at all or is one out of a million. i don't know what to do. in order to become any of the "good jobs" i have to get into an IVy league (i know i don't have to, but there's alot of pressure). sooo, help?

My friend Megan one day randomly asked me to go out with her brother, Chris, who I'd never met. I said no, of course. "Too bad! I already asked him!" she told me. Then about a week later I actually did get to meet him on a school field trip. I hate my body! My vagina is totally warped! My innerlip on the right side is way too large and it actually hangs out past my outer lips. Totally disgusting. And last night I tried shaving myself down there for the first time. I did trim the hair with scissors first and then used a razor. I really don't understand how anyone could have a clean shaved pussy...? That area is NOT easy to shave. Is there ANYTHING I could do to boost my confidence? I'm totally scared of losing my virginity or letting a man see me naked because I feel so ugly.

if im on the computer for example, google, aim, advicenators, youtube, itunes, etc etc. every once in awhile my tower makes this sound. im not sure if its the fan but thats where its coming from, that general area. it sounds like a freaking vacuum!! its really loud and annoying. after about 2 minutes it totally stops, but then might start up again a few hours later. it just did it twice in 10 minutes. what is this?? thanks!!

my boyfriend and I have had sex alot, but the past few times I have been bleeding. The first time I thought I just popped my cherry but the next time we had sex, (a week later) it bleed again.
