I recently started running and today was my second day to do it. I never was a big runner, but I noticed that I can hardly run at all (actually, I spend most of the time fast-walking) because I get out of breath so quickly and my chest hurts so bad I can't inhale fully and there's really hard pressure on my lungs.
Am I just way out of shape or is there something else wrong? Will this get better the more I exercise?

hello, i'm 19/f and i weight about 145. my friend is also 19/f and she is about the same height as me (5'6") and weighs around 108. i've been exercising everyday for two hours and even been taking ephedrine pills and i have not lost weight at all. i've also been doing crunches and i've seen no results. however, my friend has been also working out less than i have and she's already got a 4 pack! (it's only been a few weeks). i'm just wondering why i can't seem to lose weight and it's so easy for her to get a 4 pack so soon. thanks in advance.

I want to do something that you have to train for. I'm just not sure what. I have plenty of time to do it. I'm a 15y/o girl just so you know. I'm homeschooled, so that's what I mean by I have plenty of time. I have a very flexible schedule. Anyway i'm just not sure what to do. Any ideas?

I'm a 15 year old girl, 5'5" and about 165 pounds. I have muscle too but there's also fat like in the rest of my body I want to get rid of. I've just been gaining wait.. since last year I've been like "Okay, I'm going to stop binge eating and start running for 1 hour everyday" but then I end up binge eating and then hoping to go running soon.. making excuses and stuff. Its so annoying. I really want to be around 110 pounds, though, and don't need comments on if you don't think its a good weight or whatever, I just want to know how.
I dont want to go anorexic/bulemic cause it sounds gross and its unhealthy. I dont know how to eat better as like I eat what my parents make. We rarely ever eat out but from now on I...

(please no lectures about what foods in this list you think i should or shouldn't be eating, i'm going to eat what i like, i just want to do it in the right moderation for a maintainable weight).
If I stay at or below 1500 calories a day and I work out for about 10-20 min a day 4-5 days a week (doing things like aerobics, belly dancing, yoga, running) will i lose a natural flow of weight?
(to give you an idea of what i will eat...i have some health shakes (160 calories per serving) that are like ensure where you can drink them when you are busy or to replace a meal but they have a meal supply of nutrients- 2 of those, a grilled chicken sandwich with no sauce at 400 calories, 2 ice cream sandwich bars that are...

im trying to lose about 7 pounds (have lost 5 already) been eating reallllllly good the last couple weeks and tonight im going out to eat with my family for my sisters birthday. i was wondering if its a big deal if i eat bad food? i was thinking ill probably get a hamburger and fries or something and ill try not to eat too much of it maybe half and let my family snack off mine. is this a terrible thing and is it going to set me backk very far? is it okay to do this once every few weeks? i dont want to wake up tomorrow a fat coww =\\ but ive got to have something delicious once in awhile right?

I play tennis and squash once a week, so both of these keep my legs in an okay shape, and they make my arms stronger, but not so toned.
If I lift weights once a day for a certain amount of time, would this lose some fat on my arms and keep them toned?
If so, how long should I do it for, and I have 1kg weights and I think something between 3 and 5kgs, which one should I use?

I'm not sure where to put this exactly so I'm sorry if this isn't the right category.
I have really broad shoulders for a girl and it's one of the things I've always been self-conscious about. I always wear shirts with sleeves on them because I feel really uncomfortable showing my upper arms which are kinda flabby and my broad shoulders. I was just wondering if there was any way for me to make them a bit.. smaller I guess, not so manly. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I'm attempting to lose some weight before the summer starts so that i don't have to lose as much during the summer. Is 26 pounds a reasonable amount to want to lose in one or two months? If not, what's a reasonable amount? Also, what are some good ways to try and lose the weight? I'm not in any sports and my life is pretty sedentary so i need some help with this. Thanks in advance!

hi, i'm a 19 yr. old female and i have a bit of a problem. i have these thick ankles that i'm self concious about. they're definitely not cankles because my ankles are still skinnier than my calves, but lets say my ankles are just a little thicker than most which i think is unusual. anyways, are there any exercises i could do to make them skinnier? my mom also has similiar ankles to mine but hers are a little more thicker if that helps with genetics or something. thank you for the advice in advance.

so im a 19 year old girl. i weigh about 110 lbs at the least. im not exactly sure cause i haven't weighed myself in a while. well, last year sometime early august, i made myself throw up after eating too much at a birthday party. i told myself i was going to lose weight no matter what it would take. so for two or three weeks, i exercised day-in-day out and either i wouldn't eat, or if i did it was something like oatmeal or cereal that i would later throwup. Does anybody have more information on this? i mean really 23 cases out of millions and millions of people? these people probably over used the product? but does anybody have more information on this? ive already gone threw one bottle of hydroxycut Max and i have less than half another bottle left. ive gotten great results and i only have 5 more pounds to go. summers almost here i want to finish my bottle but now i am scared? its about a weeks worth and thats allllll i need but now im scared im going to get liver cancer or something but what more harm could i do? and how do i know if hydroxycut has done damage to me?

soo im perfectly find with my weight, i just have hips that i would prefer to be a bit smaller. i do work out regularly, but i dont know how to target them.
are there any exercises that specifically target the hips ?

i cant seem to lose this last 5 pounds! my body is really starting to look great except the extra flab over my stomach covering my rock hard abssss. how can i lose this extra fat?! it seems like its taking FOREVER to come off, if its coming off at all?

okay so im doing strength training about twice a week, and cardio about 4 times a week. i want to gain a bit of muscle and lose weight. on the days i do strength training do i need to eat more calories? how many calories should i be consuming to lose 5 pounds? i am also taking hydroxycut. i am 120 pounds 5'3 and 17 years old. i want to be at 115 and i would like to lose this 5 pounds within 2 or 3 weeks?
