In my opinion, weight loss drugs are a scam. ]
I just started using Hydroxycut last week, and it's done amazing things for me. I have made the decision to keep going.
*DISCLAIMER* I have not sought out medical advice, which is what I should do. I just happen to live way too far away from my family doctor to do so. If you can, talk to your doctor.
What I have done is ignore the directions, which say to take 6 pills a day, 2 at a time. I am instead taking one pill twice a day.
It's understandable that Hydroxycut would cause liver issues. In each pill is the equivalent caffeine of 2 coffees... that's 12 coffees a day if you follow their directions! Your body has to process all of that.
By cutting the dose, I figure I'm cutting my chances.
Again, though, to satisfy the nay-sayer in all of us, I have not made a medically educated decision here. And you should.
A big sign of liver damage is jaundice. If your eyes or skin are looking yellowish, go see a doctor right away. ]
If you only have 5 pounds to go diet and exercise is the safer way to go.
Many of these products for weight loss are rushed to market without proper testing. Like phen phen a few years ago, they don't recall them until people start dropping dead from using them.
While only one person has died as a direct result of using hydroxy cut, it has also caused other to have signs of liver damage. One requiring the person to need a liver transplant. It has also caused severe muscle damage. Removing it from the market is the only responsible thing to do.
I would not recommend you finish the bottle you have. It is probably a good idea to see your doctor. Tell him/her you have been using the product, and have them run some liver function tests on you.
It can do more harm. A liver is not easily replaced. Being a beautiful corpse is not your goal I'm sure!
All those with reported damage from the product, were using it as recommended on the bottle. Had
they been proved to be abusing the drug, the manufacturer would have been announcing that to the world. They are not.
