my atkins diet "induction flu." HELP

I recently began the low carb atkins diet, and i feel very very dysfunctional. I feel as if i cannot attend class due to lack of energy, nausea, and constant heart palpitations. it takes an effort to stand up or move my ligaments. when will i get over this? will i ever get over this? are heart palpitations normal for an 18 year old girl? the problem is, my diet was solely based on all carbs and sugars so i feel as if this is all a reaction to readjusting to a healthy lifestyle. i am not doing atkins for losing weight specifically, but to set up a healthy style for myself in the future. I was wondering how come every time I paint my nails myself they chip very easily? If I go have a manicure done and have them paint them they do not chip so fast? Is there something I should do? i'm 19 years old.

Period question

I am new to this website.. My question is that I am on my period and my clitoris seems to kinda hurt i've never experienced this before. I am 19. It kinda itched early so I itched it and that is when I noticed it. It does not hurt terribly but something I am kind of worried about.

I'm dating a guy I don't want to be with but in not so good at breaking up. We have been together a month and a half and he has probably spent over 200 dollars on dates with me. I feel so bad because it's almost valentines day, should I break up with him now or after? He said he has a surprise for me coming valentines day and I don't know what to do. My friend suggested breaking up before valentines because it would give the guy time to return whatever he got me. I need help, I'm not gutsy when it comes to things as such.

Burried depression??

I've always noticed that when I draw people, especially what I think are interpretations of myself, they always look sad and depressed... Would this be a kind of reflection of myself? Like maybe Im actually sad and depressed but don't really notice it because its so normal to me?? Thanks in advance to all responses.

Nightmare where I cant wake up- what does it mean?

Ive been having a reoccuring nightmare for a while. I "wake up" in my dark bedroom, as if i had simply waken up from sleeping normally, and there is a nightmare-y and eerie feel to the room (though that might just be because i am deathly afraid of the dark but i dont know) I usually immidietely know im in a nightmare, and my first instinct is to get to my mom. (Im 13/f so i still live with my parents obviously) not sure if this is important but i guess i better share everything, it never ever occurs to me to go find my dad, im always just "calling out" (more like a croaking whisper) to my mom. I will try to leave my room, but its usually a difficult struggle to even open my door, or even get to it, let alone walk out of ...

I'm 15, and I'm a sophomore. Okay, this past summer I found out I have anxiety and OCD very badly when I ended up in the ER after a softball game. Ever since, and even some before, I've had problems talking to people. Not only that, I can't stand being put in groups at school. No one is mean to me, in fact if anything, everyone is nice to me! So I'm not getting bullied, I do have lots of friends. At my school, if you play sports, you're pretty much popular. So I kinda am. But, if someone I'm not comfortable with tries to talk to me, I feel like crying. Sometimes. I don't like people knowing I'm there, and I don't ever intend on going to gatherings or party's, unless it's forced upon me. Even then, I feel like crying. I don't know what's wro...

Tampon rejection!!

I've had my period for 3 years now and I normally use pads, occasionally tampons... but most of the time I do use tampons, my body rejects them. I know how to properly insert one, but.. my body says no. Today, I put in a tampon and it felt perfectly fine for about 5 minutes, but then I began to walk around and now I can feel it. How can I get it to be "normal"???

I'm a very sensitive person… sometimes I feel like I'm acting overly sensitive… whenever something sad happens in a book, movie,TV show, graphic novel,etc. I start to cry big crocodile tears. For example, when my mom tells me storys about abused children, and shows pictures of dead baby's body dumped in garbage cans,I cry for 2 hours. Whenever I watch those commercials about starving children and abused animals I start crying. When I watched a video with children seeing their dad's come back from the military and run to them so happy,I start crying. As I'm writing this I'm crying. Psychology and jobs?

Okay, I'm in high school and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my future. Psychology has always fascinated me, so I was thinking what I could do with a degree in that field.
Now, I've had a friend who was depressed and suicidal and a niece who was abused as a toddler and now has some mental issues from it. So I really want to help and work with children and teens in those types situations by giving counseling and maybe even diagnosing disorders and things like that.
I was wondering what job would allow me to do that, what I'd have to do in college for it, if psychology's worth taking and things like that.
Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Aztec tights

For Christmas my aunt got he Aztec tights with a plain black shirt with a pocket. The problem is I don't know what shoes to wear. I have a pair o knee high black boots but idk if they will be school appropriate, comfortable wise.

there is a girl I worked with in a class in college.
I am not trying to get with her, I think she has a boyfriend.
I am going to be in the same place she is in on February 14 in the campus, I want to go and say hi to her and chat but I am scared because since it is Valentine's Day she might think I am trying to flirt with her or something.
