my best friend was abused by drugs and got on them and so much more by the time she was 6. her dad died. her mom went to jail. her aunt took her and her sister so they wouldnt get put up. but their not legally adopted. she refuses to use her aunts last name. her real mom keeps calling and leaving messages or coming over. i thought she had a restaining order or sumthing. but everytime, my friends aunt is screamin at her and her sister and makes them leave they cannot see or hear or even a picture of their mom. but her mom left in a message that she also gave them all aids and that they have 3 brothers they never met. so she cant see her brothers she doesnt even know who or were they are. she fights nonstop with her mom. she is bipolar and im...

I like my best friend. i grew up with him and he was my best friend for the last 3 years. I told him I liked him and he said he liked me then everything just stopped for 2 weeks i dono why and we did nothing about it and for a week of that i was in dead hate with him id do anything to piss him off but now were now really close again (cursing him out to telling him I love him(in a friend way). i love him but I treat him like my other best friends. Ok, dont think im crazy, or weird, but i have a problem. What do you think the point in life is???
I asked one of my friends, and they said to serve god. and i go to church and believe in god, but im not very religious (ok, well i am, just im 14, and to afraid to tell my parents i dont believe what they and the church (roman catholics) believe.)
I think i have an issue (like...mental, not LITTERALLY, but like depression ,or someting....my friends, even my bf said im bipolar, b/c i am happy, then all of a sudden depressed for no reason)
ANYWAYS, what do you think the point in life is?

can someone explain the aperture and shutter speed to me? i guess the bigger the aperture the smaller the amount of objects that can fit in the photograph? and the shutter speed higher you can take a pic of a moving car??? but what do i use in bright light, low light, and inside a building??? for posed objects

okay so my sister brynn is 18, senoir in highschool, and she's like my best friend..
so she'ss going off to college next june, and for christmas i want to get her something that she'll always remember me by.
i saw these girls with necklaces on that were like half a heart, and when you put them together they make a whole one..
i don't want to get cheap ones from like claire's or something, i want it to have sentimental value and not turn our necks green..
so does anyone know where i can get 2 necklaces that like fit together or go together?

Apprehensive About College Roomates!

Okay, I need advice and I didn't know who else to ask. I'm feeling incredible apprehensive about living situations next year when I move to college. I'm supposed to be living with my two best friends. It's not that I don't trust them, it's just that I am very worried about differring priorities. I have one friend who is REALLY into partying, and who JUST GOT ENGAGED. The other, like me is still a partier, but feels that getting the education you're paying SOO MUCH for is more important. Most of all, I'm worried about my partying friend paying her rent, or not leaving in the middle of the year to live with her fiance. I'm wanting to address the issue, but I don't exactly know how to bring it up... Any advice would be REALLY appreciated!

I had a Urinary Tract Infection over the summer. Lately, I've had the urge to pee all the time but no burning and it doesn't hurt to pee. I'm not sure if this may have a connection with my real problemL: I have noticed that I discharge alot. Like its to the point where I feel like I've wet my pants. Its a normal milky white color but there is just so much of it.
I can't go to the doctor because we are switching insurance so I would appreciate if anyone might have had to deal with this before.

well, i like this guy, and i think that i am way out of his league, i'm not ugly, not trying to be conceited but most people think i'm pretty, i'm like average, i have bigger boobs, a C and I'm 5'7 with dirty blonde curly hair. I mean i have hooked up with some really hot guys but most of my relationships are with people that most people don't find attractive, but i do. Well, this guy i like isn't what i would call hot, he's more like adorable, but he's like more popular, my friends are friends with some of his friends, but i don't know. Do you think that i should suck it up and go for it, or maybe lay low and if he makes a move then go for it, i don't know, i just don't want to be rejected...

Ok well when i was wlaking home from school this guy ws flirting with me and I only said two things to him (one thing was my age).
I couldn't hlep it because i always thought I was so ugly and no guys ever talked to me before so it was just a first reaction.
And my neighbor was RIGHT there too walking his dog!!!
Will my parents know? Is it likely he'll tell? It was just a one time thing I swear!

This guy named lets call him "A" . We never reallyy use to talk acctually would try to avoid him but i did like him i was just to shy. He didn't show he liked me he just stares at me that was about it. Then all of sudden were talkin nonstop and he alwais talks to me and were like so close now. He'll alwais start the conversations. We talk through out skewl and 3 hours on msn!! we tease eachother and he pretends to hold me hostage. he makes me write his agenda and pik out his book but it can't be any book it has to be a good book. haha i know that sounds funny but we have so much in common and he's always like your on eof a kind does he like me? Whats the next step? HELP!?

Okay well I just had my period twice, and it was 22 days apart. It's been 32 days since my last period. Is it normal for your periods to be spread out the first few times you have it? Oh, and I have never had sex so I can't be pregnant.

OKay soo i really liike this guy at my school and i wanna do something cute for christmas but i want my name to be anonymous. So i was wondering if i sould burn a CD with the only song on it being "All I want for Christmas is you" and decorate it and like write inside it "To the world you may be one person, bu to one person you may be the world" and just leave it on his locker without a name. What do you guys think? should i do this, or something else, or nothing at all?
