Creating an other?

What does it mean when someone says "you're creating an other"?
During debates, my teaher almost always finds a way to say "you guys are creating an other", or sometimes when she says something, a few students will say something along the lines of "uh oh, you're creating an other."
An example of when she said it to me...
We have to do movie talks and book talks in class sometimes. She was letting us pick our movies and I mentioned doing The Ringer [about a guy who pretends to have a mental handicap in order to be in the special olympics to win money in a bet...]
Anyway, she said I would probably end up "creating an other".
It drives me crazy n...

ok so there these two guys L and D. theyre best friends. so errm i like L alot. i've liked him for over one year now. i've never really talked to either of them because of some issues i've had with one other friend and it's complicated but i know that L likes/d me back (just trust me on this) and that D might like me as well.
so the problem is that L always makes me a bit sad and he's always ignoring me when i try to smile. but then, when i dont look he always looks like he's completely in love (my friends told me)
or when i ignore him, i still see that his looking at me when hes walking by mme or smth.
so i've ignored him a lot lately and he looked at me alot. so i think i mad ehim feel bad. and now...

i just started getting cold like symptoms. could these symptoms be a sign of pregnancy? (if i am pregnant, i'd be about a week in.) the symptoms are headache, runny/stuffy nose, stomach ache. but i only really have a stomach ache when i think about it. i think it's kinda in my head.

Am I gay?

This seems like the typical question, but I am honestly really confused. I'm 17f, I have only ever been in relationships with guys, but I have fooled around with girls before when drunk. I have always really considered myself as Bicurious. I have a bf, been with him for about 5 or 6 weeks. We havent slept together yet, but I have had sex in relationships with guys in the past.
I have been thinking about girls more and more in the last week, and last night I met this lesbian. It was at a party and I was with my bf at the time. This girl really fancied me though and I know that if i was single I would have really gone for it.
I guess my dilemma is, is that to determine what my sexuality is i am going to need to experiment. But...

Boyfriend Vs. New Guy

Okayy here I go. my name is taryn, and im 15, 16 in a few months.
Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 7 months, but things are getting shaky, at least for me. and he never calls me, but when we do talk, its either quiet or we talk about nothing at all. I like always have to pick what to talk about.

Well until a few years back i used to be a deep thinker...I was amazed when i read my old journals because i couldnt belive how i've lost contact with myself these days...there is so much stress around me...i used to write brilliant poetry before... but now when i write poems they sound lame... i wanna be the same deep and articulate person that i was...how??

I'm a freshman and I broke up with my boyfriend, now I realize that that was a very stupid move because I still like him. We are friends right now but I want to be more then friends. Another problem that I'm facing is that my mom doesn't want me to date anyone at all anymore. What should I do? Any advice would be helpfull.

So one of my friends cuts. hes been cutting for a while, and hes been on and off with cousellors and stuff. Hes always talking to me about his cutting but never about how hes handling it or how he wants to stop. So tonight I kinda flipped out, im trying to help him by giving him suggestions on what he can do to try and figure out his problem. You see hes so stubborn that hes always trying to find something wrong. He started calling me little miss perfect, saying stuff how im always trying to fix peoples problems. So I got ticked. Ive liked my friend for a while now, he lives in England, while I'm here in america. He told me about a month ago that he has truely loved me for a while now and how he'd love it if we were together. When I bring up that we should date he says no, but he stays single for me. I know long distance realtionships dont usually work well but he comes here for vacations, and might move here soon with his uncle. How do I tell him I'm really serious about this and i think we should date?

what to wear for graduation underneath the gown

Well, I'm graduating from high school on June 10th. We will be wearing caps and gowns, but I'm not sure what to wear underneath and for shoes. I don't know how long the gowns are supposed to be (all the teachers are less than helpful) but I'm guessing pants or jeans won't be appropriate.
Also, do the caps fall off? Should I bring some bobby pins to pin it to my head?
Also, I don't even know what color the gowns are, (again, everyone is less than helpful), so what would be some good shoe color choices? And types of shoes.
