Algebra 2 Math question!

A basketball should bounce between 48 inches and 56 inches when dropped at 6 feet. Find the tolerance for bounce height of the basketball and write an absolute value inequality for the acceptable bounce heights.
Please help/explain the steps in how to solve this problem! im stuck!!

Problem?

I missed my period, so at first i thought i was pregnant, but i took a pregnacy test last night. The result was negative. Are there other reasons that i could have missed my period? Or was the test just wrong?
I've looked up early signs of preganancy, and the only symptom i have, is not getting my period, so i really have no idea.
anything advice would be great.

going to high school drama AGAIN

i consider going to high school, as my PEACE PLACE where i can have no problems and just be a normal ME.
and my mom and sister (sister is my nUumbEer o0Nne problem at home!!! im so mad) went to the same high school im going to (oh yeah and shes older by one year) and wants to transfer from her old high school to my NEW school im BARELY gonna go to!!!!!!
how can i have that peaceful place if my NUMBEEERRR 1 problem is gonna g0 there!! i couldnt stop crying last night by thinking about it...
also its a magnet, so if you guys know whtt are the chances shell get accepted since the 3rd is when we go back to school.

this might sound really stupid but how do you know when your in love? i really really really like my boyfriend but i wouldn't wanna say i love you if i didnt mean it...thing is, we've only been dating for like 3 weeks, for anyone in a relationship how long did it take before you said 'i love you' please dont tell me "you'll know when your in love" cause that doesnt really help...tell me anything about your relationships...thankss.

first day.

Today was my first day of high school as a freshman. And almost anything that could go wrong did.
My locker wouldn't open and there was no one in the office so I could get it fixed. I got lost at least 4 times. And I only sat with one friend [[the whole table was empty except us two]] at lunch cuz my 'bff' said I couldn't sit with her cuz her table was full.
Is there anything I can do to make my second day and the dayss to come any better?

Overcoming inhibition with my boyfriend

Ok so I'm new at the whole boyfriend / girlfriend thing, and I feel like the process of me becoming more comfortable with the more physical (though not sexual) aspect of a relationship is going extremely slowly. I'm okay when my boyfriend initiates hand-holding, hugging, whatever, but for some reason I'm having a really hard time reciprocating - as in initiating anything myself. It would probably be useful to mention that I'm generally not a touchy-feely sort of person, and I tend to have a large personal space bubble. Plus, I'm kind of shy, so I think I've developed a sort of avoidance mentality where I often purposely try to avoid contact/interaction with people (yes, I probably act a bit anti-social at times, but I'm not a recluse or sno...

Does Acid show up on urine drugs tests?
B.c. I was told it doesn't bc it stores in you spine and shit and the only way to tell if you've done it is if you have a spinal tap...
and if it does how long till it's completly out of you're system wear even in urine they can't trace it?

im a sophomore in high school, and i really would like to learn to make professional graphics. I'm taking a web design class, that will help me with it. But I think it would be cool to make professional pictures for movies, dvd cases, anything like tht too! But how much does a professional computer graphic artist make? And what exactly do they do? And I would like to take some classes on computer graphics. im 15/f/usa

this year my schools doing guys and dolls for a musical! i'm wicked excited, but really nervous for auditions! i've done some research on it but i'm not sure what song i should use for an audition. i've looked online, but i can't find all the songs involving a girl singing. so i was wondering, what are some good songs to sing for a girl auditioning from this musical?(i'm trying to go for a lead)i can sing both alto and soprano, so either one is fine. thank you so much :}
