THE SIMS 2: APARTMENT LIFE HELP.

I apologize if this seems a little vague, but I'm flipping out right now.
I just got Apartment Life, and I was so stoked to play it. I put in in the DVD-CD ROM, and the only thing that happened, was that a small disc appeared next to my cursor. The disc stayed there for about ten to fifteen seconds, then nothing happened.
I tried manually installing it, but when I open my D: drive in My Computer, it doesn't show anything when the disc is in.
Is there an issue with autorun, or Install Shield, or something?
I put in my Seasons disc, since I never got Boy Voyage or Freetime and the autorun worked perfectly.
Help? :(

best straightening iron/device for my hair type, $ no object

what is the best straightening iron/ device for my hair. i have wavy hair that is curly too, but its mostly wavy when its fully dry. money is no object really, but can you include the ammount? my problem is that everytime i straighten my hair, its never really shiny, its kinda like dead, no matter how little i keep the temperature. I've been thinking on the infiniti steam straightener, whats your opinion?

How are you able to deal with new faces at school especially if your afraid that lets say a new pretty girl snatches the guy you have a major crush on or that your best guy friend likes another new pretty girl and you secretly like your best guy friend but he dosen't know it and you don't really want him to know..is this confusing? im just stressing because i just learned that we will be getting new people starting next week...im not ready for that because i know everyone at my school already and yes iam afraid...mostly because what if my best guy friend ends up liking a new girl??? please help any advice would be PERFECT!!! thanks a million

Alrighty, well... My friend and I were talking on IM about lacy panties for some reason. And I told her that they were pointless. Who's gonna see them anyway unless you go around flashing people? I need to lose about 1 1/2 or 2 inches on my waist. It dosnt really matter how long it takes, I just want to loose it. So if anyone would give me any tips on how to acheive my goal that would help alot. Thanks!

An Old Friend

I had a best friend when i was five. She moved away and i didnt see her until i was eight and then i havnt seen her since [im 15 now]. I spoke to her recently through myspace/bebo/facebook/msn etc and she is coming down where i live due to family commitments and her and her mum are going to drop by for a visit. My mum and her mum are great friends, so they will have plenty to talk about/ But me and my "best" mate, we've talked on msn and stuff and she seems so nice and so friendly but what if its awakard and there is nothing to talk about, what should i do? I mean she suggested the arrangements, so she must want to see me...what do i do? How can i keep us talking

falling down?

Everytime my boyfriend and i have sex it feels like his penis like falls down to the bottom of my vagina and it hurts alot. So either I or him end up holding it up. is this common or what could be the matter, it feels like skin and then aches the next day but if we hold it up there is no problem. any ideas or whats wrong?

This is really weird and gross, but I think I have like stretch marks on my butt.
It's so embarrassing, I can't wear a bathing suit without feeling embarrassed because they show.
Anyway, I am skinny (105 lbs, 5' 4"). I don't understand why I have these weird marks. They just showed up a few months ago. I exercise three times a week, cardio and stuff.
I'm fifteen, so could they be like growth...marks?
Is there any way to get rid of them?

I heard that $100 in the United States is $1000ish in paso's in Mexico. So, could you go to mexico to buy a new car and then come back to the states, or would you have to pay a fee for your car when going over the border.

I don't know what I have...
I think that it might be a problem but I don't even know...
My symptomns:
Tired ALL the time
Very forgetful
I shake all the time
Anxious about everything
Fluxuating eating habits (eating a lot then not anything at all)
Developing a very short attention span
Weird aches and pains
Moody (I am a girl if that helps anyy)
Can you help me? Have you seen this before? Have you had any or all of these symptomns? I am very confused and I am very afraid of what the docc might say...

Okay, i've known this girl christie for so long that i can call her my sister. I've known her since 6th grade, and since then we've hung out basically every weekend and every day during the summer. I'm apart of her family.
then this girl casey comes along [i introduced them, i was friends with casey first before christie] and she ruins our friendship/sisterhood.
well, im best friends with christie again, but not with casey. christie is having her sweet16 in december. shes putting casey on her candles BEFORE ME. that really pissed me off and i just wanted to LEAVE her house. casey is candle 7, im number 8. I told her that it pissed me off and she said suck it up. I told my sister and she said its not a big deal...

So the areas where my bras, underwear, and pants are suddenly starting to blacken [inner thighs, lower belly, upper back]. I mean, I've seen people wearing tighter clothes, and they're fine. Why does this only happen to women of color?! I can't start wearing baggier clothing...but do you guys think this is really the problem? What should I do? Thanks in advance.
