Okay, so I had an optometrist appointment today and my vision kinda SUCKS. There's no doubt that I need glasses and we're getting a second opinion on surgery for wandering eyes. So, because those pesky little pupils seem to have minds of their own x] contacts are out. Doctors orders. I don't mind that though.
Soo I need help finding a pair of frames that I'll actually wear. Glasses just don't look good on me. I've had them before. I don't want a plain old plastic pair, or teensy tiny metal rims. I want something DIFFERENT. Liike, shazaam!
A girl at my school has sort of like Steve Urcle glasses, but she can actually pull it off.
So any tips? What would match me?

I'm a freshman in college, and about a week into school, one of my friends was raped. understandably, she decided to take the semester off to heal. When she told her best friend about what happened to her, the friend stopped talking to her all together (up to that point, they had talked multiple times a day, every day). Now she's home again, and another friend is taking time off just because she hates her school. This girl heard what happened to my friend through the grapevine, and now refuses to talk to her as well. My friend already blames herself for everything that happened, and it's just terrible that the people who are most supportive of her right now are back at the college she left behind, the people she's only knew for about a week...

Should I darken my eyebrows?

My hair is naturally a darkish blonde and they seem to match my hair but the shade of them drastically changes when I'm in certain lights. Sometimes they look brown and sometimes they look blonde. I'm thinking about darkening them but I'm not sure..

I just hate the way it looks when I'm under that kind of light and I think darker eyebrows would make my face look more defined. What do you guys think? Also bear in mind I usually have my hair dyed chesnut brown, my dye has just faded.

ok i've had my period for exactly 3 weeks straight, it slowed down after the first week i had it and the last two days it was barely there at all so i thought finally it ended, but now it seems like its starting again and i'm really nervous about this.. what do you think it could be, and what should i do?

Our relationship kinda sucked, neither of us were ourselves (I was a scared creature in a new environment and he was medicated for depression), and he was emotionally abusive. Ok, don't think I'm a person who doesn't give a shit or anything, I just haven't had any time to watch the news or read newspapers since school started. I'm far behind in current affairs.
I just hear a lot of talk about banks and businesses going bankrupt, prices in food stores going higher, etc.
Even here in Belgium, major companies and also one of the top three banks have gone or are on the verge of bankruptcy.
What exactly is happening to the world right now?

and i used to be overweight and i worked out and stuff and now im like normal and im skiny now.. I Droped 34 pounds in 4 months but i worked really hard and so i know it all paid off and stuff but i havnt gotton my period this month idont know why.
Can anyone tell me some reasons..

For so long I've been wanting a boyfriend. One of my friends always gets a boyfriend when she wants one. She is pretty and nice, she is smart. I'm different from other people in my group of friends. Do I have to take a lunch break while I'm at work?

I really do not want to take a lunch break at work, but my boss always insists on it around the same time each day. I always have a huge breakfast before work and have a nice dinner when I come home so in between I'm not really hungry and, to be honest, I'd like to get my work done while I'm there.
A fellow employee recently informed me that it was against the law for me NOT to take lunch, but I'm not really sure as to how true this is. My coworker said something about my boss getting a fine or something around those lines if I were to complain that he did not force me to take a lunch break. This sounds ridiculous to me. I'm an adult.

Years ago I watched American Idol season 2 when Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard was on it. Clay Aiken was really great and was very talented but, sadly, Ruben Studdard won.
Anyway, I know that Clay Aiken always said he was simply too busy to have a girlfriend, but he recently had a baby born, Parker.
