MADISAN answered Thursday October 2 2008, 12:56 pm: Leaving the weightloss issue behind for right now, and focusing on the age issue. When you're young you're still kind of growing into your period, it's irregular and sketchy sometimes. And when you hangout with mostly girls, you all develop the same period, so if you change friends, or dont hangout as much, it gets whacky.
Now, the weightloss plays a big role. But if you're eating healthy (as in, not starving your self) you have nothing to worry about. [ MADISAN's advice column | Ask MADISAN A Question ]
LM answered Thursday October 2 2008, 12:38 pm: More likely than anything else it's because you lost so much weight.
Losing weight throws your cycle off; the same thing happened to me.
If it doesn't even out again in a few months, talk to your doctor about it.
You might be underweight, or need medication to regulate your cycle.

pseudophun answered Thursday October 2 2008, 11:49 am: You may be too thin...
I know that sounds stupid but depending on height and metabolism, your dramatic change in weight could mess with your menstrual cycle. If you're too thin or too large your period stops all together.
... And there's the thought that if you've had sex in the past month you're pregnant... just in case you're sexually active... [ pseudophun's advice column | Ask pseudophun A Question ]
