I completely accept that no one else can tell someone whether they are in love or not but does anyone else find it a little silly when people say they are completely in love with someone they have never dated or kissed, or dated for a week or so?
I almost find it offensive. I don't like that word being taken so lightly and thrown around. Does this annoy anyone else here, or am I being too judgmental?

well i was dating this kid jon for a while and he has a twin named jake. me and jon brokeup and he went out with this other girl. eventually they brokeup and she went out with his twin. i think she still likes jon and he really likes her and i sort of like jake now even though he has a g/f. he slept over the other night and kissed me. he always comes over and calls me beautiful and i really like him but i dont know what to do. i dont know how to tell him this and i really think he should breakup with his girlfriend before doing these things with me. what can i say to him? PLez helpp!

alright well heres my deal, i'm 14/f and my best friend well i LOVE her brother i went out with him secretley but then she found outt and she was pissed..so then we had to break up bcus his parents were always yellin @ him and she wuld always cry about it i dnt see wat the big deal was but anyways we got back together and we got sexually active, agen she found outt and we had to break it off except this time it was BIGG. I still love him and he still lvoes me we arent reallyy dating but together my mom says i can do better but i def. think hes it. wat shuld i do? end the relationship or just go for it and forget about his sister.

k,i've been dating this guy 4 about 3-4 weeks. I like him, but later this week, he said he was busy n' everything, he ignored me, n' everytime i'm oL he said like.. hey, u hav to go to school 2morrow,, don't sleep to late, then if i say no, i dun wanna go 2 sleep rite now, he will be like.. ok.. i want to play, tell me if u're bout to off.And i was like, ok if that's wat u want.. i dunno wat to do.. i like him.. n' sumtimes i kinda jealous w/ his friends, coz he really cares bout his friends, n' always talks bout his friends.. sooo... wat do i do?

okay I am a lesbian and I'm in love with my girlfriend. I'm pretty sure she loves me to because she tells me all the time. Well she just found out that she is about to have her ex-boyfriend's baby and now she has to pic between one of us. I think of part of her still loves him and there's a good chance she could pick him, but at the same time i feel there's a good chance she could pick me. Everytime i try to bring up the subject about picking which one she wants to be with she gets REAL REAL mad, so I just drop it to save the yelling. I feel like I'm being tagged along, like I'm sitting here waiting around for no reason. Almost like she's only with me to keep me occupied or something. I've lsot all my friends over her and now everyone think...

I'm 16/f and one of my best friends is 17/m. We're ridiculously close friends. He understands me so well, and he actually cares. He has been one of the nicest people to me in my entier life. He's always there, and he always listens. He's just the sweetest person in the world.
The only problem is, I like him. A lot. As in more than best friends. But my question is, do I just keep our friendship, so that nothing else can be ruined, or do I try and push for more?
I don't want things to be awkward between us, but I love him. He has been the sweetest person in the world.
I'm confused about what to do. I'm torn between getting closer or staying how we are. Help.

I'm going to try to make this as short as possible..so here it goes.
I really like this boy and I'm pretty sure he likes me. My cousin was talking to him online today and this is part of the conversation:
My cousin:Who do you like?
Him:who does (my name) like??
my cousin:I'll tell you if you tell me first
Him:ok
...
Then she told him I liked him and he's like "well why is she scared to tell me" and shes like "she's afraid of rejection" and hes like "why if she likes me then she should ask me out" ..I thought that was really weird. So then he said he had to eat and he said "I swear to god I'll come back on and tell you"

I really im in love with this boy, but he has 3 g/f`s. yea, he's a big player. i have tried and tried to get over him, but i just can't. I dont think he would really like me, because he likes darker girls like mexican girls. What should I do. (he has no clue i like him, and I wouldn't want to tell him, because I'm embarassed he'll reject me. :\)

Over the summer I lost a few pounds. I wasn't big before or anything I just kind of toned down. Well, a few guys have noticed and commented to me. My boyfriend gets really jealous when anyone (by one I mean guys. I don't know what to do about it. It isn't that big of a problem to where we need to break up but it upsets me when I see him like this. Today, I saw one of my really good guy friends that I didn't have a chance to see during the summer. We talked for a few min. and he asked me if I lost weight and I said yes and he told me that I looked great. My bf was standing with us and when my friend said what he said, my bf walked away. Does anyone have any idea what I can do/say to him? I'm 17 and he's 18 if that helps.
