True or just a fairy tale?

Like on "hey arnold"
Helga acts like she hates Arnold, even though she really loves him.
Theres this guy in which i have a long past with and a long story that i dont want to get into and his best friend told me thats his case.
That he wants me to think he hates me, just because of rumors spread about us.
He tells everyone that he doesnt like me at all, but he told his bestfriend he does like me and to ignore his act he puts on.
So should I really believe his friend?
Is that kind of situation even possible or is it just fairy tale material?

Okay befor we get started i just wanna say i think i should get this advice from a guy cuz they could probly answer thsi better vuz im a girl so here it is Hey i am a 13/f and i have a biiiig problem or at least to me its big. mk. well there's this guy i guess you can say who's kinda shy. I went out with him [if you want to call it that] in 5th grade. Then again in 6th. But 7th i never talked to him and here we are 8th grade he's asked me out twice. I went out with him once. Then! he asked me out again. And i just said i'd like to be friends for a little longer. Ok theres this guy at my school and i really like him but i dont know if he likes me. He is one of my only guy friends but i cant tell if im one of the guys or if he likes me. We hang out inside of school and we joke around alot. And he talks about him gf alot. We usually walk home together and talk about, well whatever we can think of. And its usually really akward between us unless one of our other friends are there. okay so i have a question, and a big problem.
me and my boyfriend have been going out for like almost 2 months now, but we never talk. were both pretty popular and we talk all the time to our friends and like out loud in class and stuff, but never to eachother. we had a school dance last week on friday and we danced with eachother on every slow song and we talked during them, which i was really happy about. but we haven't ever talked during school, and we have 2 classes with eachother so we've had plenty of chances. i think it's because we are both like super shy around eachother cause we no we like eachother. idk.

My closest female friend is always with me. We spend alot of time together. More recently when we are alone we just talk and look giddly at eachother. When laughing, she tends to lean on me and if a song or somthing comes on and we're not talking, she'll lay her head across on my lap (we're in a car). She may even move my hand so that I am holding her, and she gently takes my hand. When we are talking like this or just looking at eachother we are very close (physically). I dont know if she would want me to kiss her, in fact I think about it all the time! Whenever there is an awkward silence and we just gaze at eachother instead of doing anything we just laugh giddly. This might be long but I really need help. So I went out with this guy , we'll call him Chuck. Chuck and I went out for about 6 months he was the first boy I really loved. However , Chuck was this big popular "jock" and all my friends were mad at me for going out with him because they liked him ! Silly right? So Chuck and I broke up beacuse of these silly girls. GUESS WHAT? CHUCK WENT OUT WITH ONE OF THOUGHS GIRLS FOR 5 MONTHS ! Yeah... so whatever. They broke up about 2 weeks ago and I've been notciing I really miss Chuck. k, so theres this boy in my gym class that i really like, and i can kinda tell he likes me. so heres where it gets complicated. my boyfriend has me 9th in his top friends for myspace and like 4 other girls are in front of me. and he never puts me in his AIM away message and it kinda pisses me off. one day he'll be like "i love you soo much i couldn't live without youu." then he'll be like ehh whatever the next day and not as sweet. some days he calls me and some times he doesn't. i just want him to call me every day and put me in his away messages and tell me he loves me all the time. some times he does, but other times he just doesn't. it would be kind of stupid being like "yeah you have to call me every day and always say you love me and put me in your AIM away message." but i don't know how else to get the message across..

I recently broke up with my boyfriend because I don't have feelings (more then a friend) for him anymore and it wasn't fair to him at all. I've liked this girl and she's liked me for 3 and a half years now. We've had our problems but have pretty much always stayed best friends.
