Should I run?

I am a fast runner you see and I got asked to run this thing called the turkeytrot, but Iave to run in front of the whole school. I am araid of getting lastplace should I still run?

there's this guy (yeah, yeah, i know it's not original, but it makes sense this way!) i've liked nearly all this year, and i think he likes me. he's showing all the signs (e.g. choosing seats near me, watching me, then turning away when i see him, etc.) but i'm not sure. see, i nearly always sit near my friend, and i'm sometimes not sure if it's me he wants to be near or watch, etc., or her.i know the obvious solution would be to not sit near my friend, and see what he does, but i don't want to. i really believe in that saying about not choosing guys over your friends, and i don't want to just ditc her. (btw, she doesn't know that i like this guy. we're not close enough for that, but we've been frinds for seven years or something. she's not...

I am into musical theatre and i met this guy while doing a show and i really liked him. Now we've sort of kept in touch, but i miss him so incredibly much. I've tried to see him a couple times but it hasn't worked out. What should i do?

Kids at School. (anti-jew)

At my school there are some kids who think being Jewish is a bad thing. I am half Jewish and one of my friends is too. We always get mad when we hear kids saying it. Some kids say things like- You Jew- as if its bad. They dont even care who they say it to they will say it to christians catholics or jews. It really make me mad but I dont know what to do. Plus most of the kids who say it are in the popular group witch me and my friends are not it. What should I do?

I like this girl at my school but she is 1 year older than me and in 1 grade ahead of me. She is on my bus and lives really close to me. I dont think she is very popular or has a boyfriend witch is good because im not very popular I mean I have a lot of friends but we are not in the popular group. How should I ask this girl out, do you think its even worth asking her out? Its so hard for me to think of what to say plus I dont know when to asker her out.

Torn Between Two Guys

You see, the boy over the internet, Will, is a real sweetheart. I like him a lot, and we kinda blanace eachother's emotions. Is it just me or are some women/girls SO FUCKIN STUPID? I don't know one single girl who doesn't talk about her own friends behind their back, and the number of girls i know who obsess over makeup is astoundingly large(i'm 13). I'm a girl, most of my friends are girls, but I'm finding that guys are a little bit easier to get along with. Yeah, they're idiots, but they get over arguments easier and don't make a big deal over fights and stuff. And sometimes you need a goofball to make you laugh. I consider my self a feminist, and am trying to ween my friends off of makeup and back-stabbing(it's working :)). So: Do women change as they get older? Get less insane? At all?

about a year ago, for reasons that have yet to be explained, i started liking this guy at school. several months later, i found out that he liked me too. after a few weeks he asked me out. we had some communication issues from the start. he thought that i didn't like him, and i thought that he didn't like me. on the last day of school, we magaged to work things out, and proceeded to date all throughout the summer. things were great, and as much as it disgusts me to say it, it was the best 3 months of my life. school started, and to our amazement, we had all out classes together. but once school started, things started to go awry. he was getting more distant, and acting like a jerk a lot of the time, and not the sweet guy i had fallen in lov...

family dinners

I'm 16 and my family still makes me sit at the kid's table at holiday dinners. They act like it's just too big a seating issue for me to not have to eat with five year olds, but I think they just don't want to treat me like an adult. I'm sick of it, but they don't care. How can I wake them up? I somehow lived through another Thanksgiving but Christmas is coming up and I'm going to want to beat them all.

A Question About Humanity

Heya. I have a question for you, spacefem. You see, I'm bullied a lot at school. And I don't have a lot of emotional support, and I'm not much of a people person. Because of this, people tease me. I've started to just ignore people, and pretend they're not there or something, but it's getting harder as every day goes by. What can I do to either make ignoring people easier, or to stop most of the bullying? Please help, I could really use it!

Okay, well...there is this teacher, let's call him Mr. Somebody. Mr. Somebody...well, he isn't really a teacher, but he just works with the guidance counsler in my school. Mr. Somebody is a very freaky guy. It doesn't show to many people...but he just seems like he would be one of those molesters to the younger girls. He looks at me weird and it always seems like he is staring at me and it makes me very uncomfortable...the guidance counslers office used to make me very comfortable but now my stomach churns whenever I think about it. It's not like he's done anything, but its just the way he is and I dont know where to turn.
