i just broke up with my cheating ex...now he is with the girl he was cheating on me with. she is great. and he loves her... he used to love me but treats her better. i want to find a guy that will care about me... but i just dont know how to make myself feel better. i am so different now.. and i really miss him. how do i get over him and find someone new.. please help

promise ring

My boyfriend is getting me a promise sing. So I'm thinking about getting him one too. A silver one with outside engraving. I'm not sure what it should say. I was thinking of putting our anniversay date on it or I love you. I guess i don't want to mess up on the text. Any suggestions?
Should I just go for the names and a heart in between it?

Guy problems

well i started talkin to this guy that told me him and his girlfriend that broke up .. and well he told me he couldnt call because his ex had his cell and wouldnt give it back.. so i said ok.. well he keeps sayin he really wants to talk to me tellin me im beautiful and stuff well so i looked up her myspace and his and he said that is Ex was livin in denial about them breakin up.. so she changed his password on myspace.. so on her myspace and his it still says they are together!
well and he told me he would come by 2day and give me my xmas and bday gifts and he stood me up
so he tells me we are datin and at the game tomarrow he will talk to me and everything but his ex will be there so idk if i should talk to him or not. Please anwser my Question..

i posted a bulletin about my friends a while ago about how theyre never there for me. well yesterday that got put to the test because my boyfriend of 5 months broke up with me. he was my first kiss. first boyfriend (that was over a week long). etc. i cried all yesterday. i cried todayy. my friends had the nerve to talk about me behind my back to each other about how i have to get over it and its just a boy and how its annoying that i talk about him. its been one day. im questioning if theyre really my friends. i dont want to switch friend groups. if you were me, you would know how stuck i am in this group. please dont question that. well my question is how do i deal with a broken heart without the support of my "best friends"? i m...

I'm currently in a long distance relationship. I live in Connecticut, and my boyfriend lives in Virginia.
This past weekend, my boyfriend came up, and stayed here (in CT) for 3 nights. My mom and family really liked him.
We talked and the soonest I can see him again is January 18th-21st. He wants me to go to VA though. My problem is my mom. I'm a 16 year old girl, and my boyfriend is 17. I don't know how to convince my mother to let me go. She doesn't seem to be too easy about it. What could be some things that I can do to convince her I'd be fine on my own.
Shes talked to his father before, and I'm thinking that may be the deciding factor, but what can I say that is convincing? I've thought a lo...

im an 18/f my bf is 19/m. i have been with my bf for almost 2 years. we have had our rough times, and i dont feel he is committed to me. he hasnt cheated to my knowledge, but we havent been together for more than 8 months straight without being on a break.
tonight i took his phone and looked through his facebook messages. was it invasive? yes it was. but i feel i have the right to know considering his past of flirting with girls online, hooking up with girls during our breaks from going out, etc.
in his messages i saw him encouraging girls to cheat. the girls see hes in a relationship, and they say no, but i am so hurt by this. i really think one day he will cheat on me..im so lost, i love him but i dont want to get hu...

OK, my love life is far too complicated to handle. I seem to have had bad luck over and over again when it comes to men (I'm 18/f by the way).
So my first boyfriend (A) I got with about 2 and a half years ago, but we broke up 6 months ago. It was totally the right thing to do - things really weren't working out (i.e he definately wasn't the guy I thought he was). Anyway, I met a new guy (B), who I dated for a bit, but then suddenly he stopped things without any real reason.
Now I'm single, and I've found that my confidence in flirting and that is completely dashed. Like I'll make out with guys when drunk (don't judge me, I'm very confused!!) but I can never establish more with them than a few text messages. And...

Okay.
I used to have a thing with a guy, but because of my unpopularity he was too embarrassed to admit it. That was a while ago. Now, I'm pretty much stable where I am, and am pretty well liked.
Here is the dilemma. One of his best friends, whom I used to hate, actually turns out not to be such a bad person. We have Spanish together. I don't know if he likes me, but I think he definitely likes to look at me. :)
But how do I talk to him? I don't know how much he knows and me and his friend. That could be a problem.
Also, I ONLY have Spanish with him, in which I literally sit in the middle of him and all his friends (thankfully not the guy I fell out with though), and I hardly see h...

What do you give a guy for your one year anniversary? He would be 17 by then and he's not a cologne or watch guy. What would be appropriate? He's been hinting off that he's going to give me a promise ring. So i have no idea what would .. measure up or be meaningful as that. I don't think a CD or band t-shirt is appropriate. Always touching my stomach

So I have a really great boyfriend, like he's amazing, very cute,sweet and everything.
Just that whenever we cuddle on the couch, he always places his band under my shirt, and just plays with my stomach rubs it, and jiggles it and stuff.
He says stuff like "Ah, you're little belly is so cute."
But I feel weird, because I'm not chubby or anything, quite average, but I do have a tiny bit of a tummy. And he's skelatal.
It just makes me akward, but since he likes to I won't stop him, I just don't know why he likes it so much.
