My boyfriend is getting me a promise sing. So I'm thinking about getting him one too. A silver one with outside engraving. I'm not sure what it should say. I was thinking of putting our anniversay date on it or I love you. I guess i don't want to mess up on the text. Any suggestions?
Should I just go for the names and a heart in between it?

He can look at it and have a little reminder that you love him when you're not there to say it. I hope I helped. =] [ AdviceAsh's advice column | Ask AdviceAsh A Question ]

[your name]heart[his name]
Maybe talk to your boyfriend if you're rings can match?
Personally, I think having numbers on a ring (even if they signify something) doesn't look very nice. Putting "I love you" on there is just a tad bit unoriginal, I bet there are tons of purity rings with those words on them. Having both your names on there gives it uniqueness, and everyone will know that your boyfriend is taken by [your name here], and vise versa. Anyways that's my opinion.
For some more ideas, you can put "True love waits," but again, that's pretty standard. Also, a purity ring doesn't need to have writing on it, it could have a crown of thorns, and other designs.

* Promise rings can mean: "I will be faithful to you"
* Promise rings can mean: "I will return to you"
* Promise rings can mean: "I will keep you in my heart always"
* Promise rings can mean: "My intention is to marry you one day"
* Promise rings can mean: "We are best friends"
* Promise rings can mean: "I will always be there for you"
* Promise rings can mean: "I love you"
* Promise rings can mean: "I will stay chaste until marriage"...."
