You could google an online guitar tuner, but I use a pitch pipe. They should have them at most music/instrument stores.

Youre healthy dont worry. I'm 14, 5"2 and 95 pounds.
If you wnat to get rid of a "stomach" start with doing about 15 sit ups a day, then, about every week, increase the amount of sit ups you do by 5.
For example, this week you should do 15. Next week, 20. The week after, 25. So on and so fourth.

Hmm. This situation sounds extremely familair to me. My two best friends, one of them named Nicole, like the same guy, and he flirts with them both. He caused a lot of drama between them, even though he didnt mean to. It almost ruined their friendship. My advice to you is to think about who you care about more.

Do whatever you feel s right. There really is no time limit for how ling you have to wait before you make out. Do whatever you will be most comfortable with, and when you think you're ready, go for it!

One of my cats has started peeing in my room. Anytime time else he uses the litter box. He only does it in my room. Does anyone have any idea as to why he started to do this or how I can get him to stop? I have 2 other cats and he is our newest one, but we have had him since March. He just started this. One of my cats did this about a month ago. Make sure you are cleaning the litter box everyday. He may have started peeing in your room because the litter box was not clean enough.
Next, you should go to the store and buy Oxy Solution Cat Stain and Odor Destroyer. It gets rid of the cat's scent so it wont go back into your room to pee.
Let me know if that doesnt work.

You're really not supposed to cut your horse's mane at all. The best thing for it is to pull it, but if it is a thin mane, then you back-comb it. You can use scissors when you backcomb a mane.

You could play some board games, listen to music, watch movies. If you want to get physical, you could do what my friends and I do - we choreograph our own little dances lol. You could also do crafts, and bake or cook.

I know that you said that a councelor wouldnt help, but usually, if you talk to the councelors at school and let them know that you dont want your parents to know that you're meeting, they'll usually give you te help you need. I'm giving you the best advice that I can and I really hope that you work this whole thing out!

McDonalds
Most grocery stores (Hy-vee, Price Chopper, Hen House, etc.)
Maybe SubWay... but you might have to be 16... idk
Maybe Red Robin... again you may have to be 16
But I'm sure that most McDonalds and grocery stores hire 15 year olds.

You should probably add something that gets your heart-rate up. I am trying to get into better shape too and, this may sound weird, but I run up and down the staris in my house for 15 minutes a day. It gets my heart pumping and it works butt and thigh muscles, too. Jumping rope is also good for some cardiovascular(big word meaning heart-pumping) exercise. Jogging and bike riding are good even if its for jsut a few minutes a day. Just get your heart pumping!

I am 14/f and a freshman this year and I've made tons of new friends. Unfortunately, some of my old friends and I are not as close as we used to be, but the friends that really count will stick with you. You learn a lot about your friends in the first year of high school. You figure out which ones care about you and which ones dont. You find out who is more likely to go with the flow to try and fit in, and you figure out which ones stick with the way they are. A lot of people change in high school, but dont give in. Thats the best advice i can give you.

well see I have this problem. I used to pull my hair out of my head. Please, don't ask why, it was just a habit. Well eventually, I pulled out so much hair that it looked like I had a receading hairline. I had my hairdresser cut bangs so I could cover the hairline, and I have been waiting for the hair to grow back, but it's taking alot longer than I thought it would have. But, I still keep pulling out my hair and it's a thing I do when I'm bored. So my questions are, how long does hair usually take to grow back? and how can I stop this habit of pulling out my hair? I used to have some weird habits too. To quit one, sometimes you must start another. Find something to fiddle with when you get bored or when you feel the urge to pull out your hair (examples - nail file, magnets, marbles, anything that will keep you busy). Hair sometimes takes a while to grow back. Especially when it is pulled or ripped out. So it might be a few weeks until you notice hair growth.

You need to be straight forward and tell him how you feel. Let him know that you dont have feelings for him and that you'd rather be friends. Just be up front with him.

this is really long, but i really would like some help,please.
first off, im having a bad week. on sunday i got arrested. now last night, this started. my mom came in my room to say goodnight... but acted strange about it. i yelled at her because she didnt knock first and she begged and pleaded for a hug and a kiss goodnight, and when i still refused she started to whine and said, "but i might not get many more oppurtunities"... so i gave her a hug, and a really long one, and then she left and went to bed eventually. about a half hour later, i was going to the bathroom, and on my way back to my room, i saw my mom. she gave me another hug, and looked like she was going to cry. she started saying how she was sorry for not knocking, and she was sorry for all the things she did that made me unhappy. (she listed a few that have happened over my life) then she said she wants me to try to be good to my sister, and help my dad. she said to listen to him. she told me she loved me at least 6 times. she told me one of the happiest moments in her life was the day i was born. she said the other two happiest were when she married my dad, and the day she had found out i had won an essay on "worlds greatest mother" that i had written about her. she said dad would need help with things if she wasnt around. then finally she said, you better get some rest, time for bed. i keep thinking about all of this, what could it mean? and then i remembered, she has bipolar disorder, and she may have something else too that i havent heard about. whats happening to her? this morning when i got up for school, her and my dad were still in bed, and snuggled really close. i asked if someone could take me to school and my dad said he would. (usually my mom takes me though) so then she told me she loved me alot, and lots more hugs. she gave me lunch money and said goodbye, have a good day. i noticed shes wearing her wedding ring, which she never wears because its so hard to get off, and she wouldnt want to leave it on during the shower or while shes asleep. her and my dad love each other, but usually, my dad is already up for work by 7:30 and they arent usually snuggled so close to each other in bed. my mom told me dad was still in bed because they both couldnt sleep. so i went to school, pondering this all day. when i came home, my mom was putting my sisters new school picture in a frame to put over the fireplace, next to mine. she pointed out to me that if i ever need it, a picture of her as a baby, of the day she was born, is in the frame too, just behind the other three. im getting suspicious of whats going on, so i said, why would I need it? she said because valerie (my sister) is going to have to do a project in her class this year where she may need a picture of herself when she was younger. my mom has been saying my dad is going to help me through my arrest, and i'll get through it, she knows i can. if this was going on with you, what would you think? whats up with all these things shes been saying lately? is she dying? You should talk to your mom about all this. Let her know how you feel about everything that she has been saying and that you want to know what is going on. Just be honest with her about how you feel.

My boyfriend and I been going out for a little over a year and I feel like im a noboby to him cause he never opens up with me, he won't tell me what he's feeling. In my opinion, your relationship with this guy is dead. You dont want to be dating someone that makes you feel like a nobody. Thats never a good thing. You need someone that makes you feel good about yourself and respects you.
If you want to try and make your relationship work, you should tell him how you're feeling. Talk to him face to face and let him know that you want to make it work.

If this new guy really loves you like he says he does, he will wait for however long it will take you to get over your ex. You should let him know that you arent ready to jump into a fast relationship and you should get to know each other more. Maybe spend some time with the new guy and try and get to know him a little better. Who knows... maybe getting to know this guy will help you get over your ex.

First off, you should find out if it is true that he likes you. If it is, you need to talk to him about it. You should tell him that he isnt being fair to your friend. He is dating her and he shouldnt be going around telling people that he likes other girls. Thats kinda low of him.
Also, If you're positive thathe likes you, you may want to tell your friend. She deserves to know.
