Petlover4ever answered Sunday December 25 2005, 12:19 am: I have a pony so I know :P. I would recomend a blade. (nothing to hurt). You can find those at petsmart.com . Or a mane-pulling comb. You should ask someone how to acually PULL the mane.
xshortxnxsweeetx answered Thursday December 1 2005, 7:46 pm: You're really not supposed to cut your horse's mane at all. The best thing for it is to pull it, but if it is a thin mane, then you back-comb it. You can use scissors when you backcomb a mane.
karenR answered Thursday December 1 2005, 7:35 pm: Scissors will get dull pretty fast and you can't cut much at a time. They do work though. We used them all the time.
