I do 25 crunches and 25 push-ups everyday. I plan to do more as I become better at it. I am trying to eat better, also. Is there anything else I should do to lose weight?

I am trying to get into better shape too and, this may sound weird, but I run up and down the staris in my house for 15 minutes a day. It gets my heart pumping and it works butt and thigh muscles, too. Jumping rope is also good for some cardiovascular(big word meaning heart-pumping) exercise. Jogging and bike riding are good even if its for jsut a few minutes a day. Just get your heart pumping!

eLiSe answered Tuesday November 29 2005, 5:05 pm: You sound like you're off to a good start but its not enough. You should start running or playing a sport for cardio to burn calories, and gain more muscle...muscle burns calories too and it also weighs more than fat, so do yoga, pilates, or just lift weights! Drink a TON of water...no soda and eat salads! hope i helped! love ya! [ eLiSe's advice column | Ask eLiSe A Question ]

I started riding my bike and ended up loving it. Helped me shed some pounds. [ schlichtinator's advice column | Ask schlichtinator A Question ]
