Hello. I am a 16 year old male from Georgia (United States). I have recently given my life to Christ, and am a southern baptist. I am currently a high school student, and a lot of my friends will come to me for advice about there friendships and relationships and whatnot, so I figured that I would give this a try. I will answer any question you give me, to the best of my ability that is. If I do not know how to handle it, I will tell you what I think, but I will also tell you that I am unsure, and try to suggest another person to ask. ok so what do you do when you've been talking to this guy for about 6 months, have liked each other for 9, and have been 'official' for almost 3, and sometimes it's great being with him and i dont wanna lose him =] other times i feel tied down & that im just not wanting to be in a relationship and i need my own space to do whatever the heck i want? but i know if i break up with him ill be kicking myself in the butt and it would break my heart to see him with someone else or ruin things between us... help !? Actually, I just got through dealing with that. I am in a long distance relationship, and for a little while last month, I just felt like taking a break, so I told my boyfriend that. He said he understood. Well, about a week went by, and I realized that he was really the only person I wanted to be with. I know that sometimes it feels like it would be better to see other people, but if you really like him, then you would feel terrible after going to somebody else. I think you should stay with him. I am currently back together with my boyfriend. We are doing great. There are times that I don't want to be with him, but then I realize that i still like him, and I would feel terrible if i went out with wnybody else. Just try to stay with him. Hope this helps

I agree, yearbooks are a good tool for that. Also, just try going up and talking to them. It sounds remidial, but it works. I am not trying to patronize you by saying that. Just try talking to them, and give them your number and they will probably give you theirs. Hope this helps

Being in a long distance relationship, I can relate to wanting to have sex and not being able to. I have thought about doing it with somebody else a few times, but then I will start to think about my boyfriend again and I realize that I would feel like crap if I had sex with anyone else (if i was currently dating him or not). I suggest that you just wait until your boyfriend is ready. I have a few friends that lost their virginity, and now they really regret it, because it was with the wrong guy/girl. I do not know if you are a virgin or not, and I don't think it really matters in this situation. But I suggest you just wait until he is ready. Because, if you really like him, you will feel like crap if you do it with somebody else. Hope this helps

I am currently in a long distance relationship. Sometimes me and my boyfriend don't get to talk for weeks at a time. Yeah, it is a little bothersome, but it makes it so much better when you get to talk again for the first time in a couple of weeks. I mean, sometimes I will get down about not being able to talk to him, but then when I do eventually get to talk to him it is awesome. It is not as hard as you think it will be. And he will probably get his phone back and be able to talk to you before you know it. Hope this helps.

There is no set time for a kiss to happen. It will come naturally. Some people will start making out the day they start dating, some people will wait for a long time before they even kiss. And don't worry about the kiss. It will happen when it happens. And if you are always thinking about when it will happen and how it will happen and everything, it will kind of lose something. Some things are just better when they are not planned or expected. The best kisses that I have ever had just happened when they happened. I mean, you just can't plan them. Well, you can, but they aren't the same then. Just go with the flow, and let it happen naturally. Hope this helps

Well, first you need to be sure that you really like Phil. Second, you should tell him about Don. I know that sounds stupid, but it is really the best thing to do. And I don't think that you are cheating on Phil unless you actually start dating Don, and technically you are being honest with him. But, that is just technically. If you feel guilty about this, you should tell Phil about Don, and if he really likes you, he will understand. I am not saying that he will not be upset for a little while, but it is probably the best thing to do. I hope this helps

ok so i think i fell in love with a guy. he's one of those emo guys and wears black eyeliner but he's straight tho. hes really nice and cool but he has no friends accept me because im the only one being nice to him. so yesterday i was sick and he came over to check if im alright and told me what the hw was. and he sat on my bed and we talked alot. andi just cant help but falling for him. hes just amazing. and i dont even understand because im sure ive naver liked a guy before and i cant imagine liking another guy but him. so he forgot his key and his parents are gone so i offered him to stay over. nothing happened of course but i stared at him the whole night and everytime i see him i get nervous and feel like throwing up. i know hes not gay. i just dont know what to do becaause i dont wanna be gay either. my parents would kill me but on the other hand i jzst wann abe with him. i dont know what to do.

I can totally relate. My parents HATE that I am a bisexual, but I am anyway. It is who I am, and they can get over it. Also, there a few guys I wouldn't mind dating, but they are straight. You just have to be open with your sexuality, and maybe they will actually like you too. Some guys are jsut really nervous about that kind of thing, and get all hot and bothered when someone says they are gay or a gay guy is hitting on them. Actually, a few guys who are bi/gay will do this to cover up that they really are. He might be gay, but just not be comfortable telling you. Just find out how he feels about the topic, tell him how you feel (be EXTREMELY careful about this), and maybe he will like you too. Let me know how it goes. Hope this helps.

Okay, so i'm Jewish but like I don't go to the temple or like anything. so my friends were talking about religion and had the Jewish religion all wrong so i cleared it up and they were like whats the Jewish bible called and i said i didn't know. and this other girl whos not Jewish goes oh..its called a Torah spellin..so anyway they go well your not a Jew your a fake Jew your no Jew JUNO get it like Jew NO. yeah, well i was just gonna shrug it off but my other friend blew up at them and told them to knock it of and i was like guys just stop but they won't. I'm not that affended but a lot of my family died in consintration camps and there making fun of me for being something that i can't help.

I will not say that you are not a Jew, but I will say that you are not a practicing Jew. What I mean by that is that you claim the religion, but do not know some of the major things (such as what the Jewish Bible is). You can be offended by this. However, I do think that you should reconsider what your religion is. I know that your family claims the Jewish religion, but I am not so sure if you really want to or not. I mean, from the sounds of it, I think your family is mostly Jews. I am not saying you are nto a Jew, but just think about it. I find that religion only creates problems, however I do mostly live by Cristianity religous rules, but not totally, so I won't claim Christianity. I guess the point is that you can be upset about it because you had family members murdered in the Holocoust, but I don't think it should be a huge personal offense

As a guy, I say it doesn't really matter what race the girl is. I mean, some guys like asian girls just like some guys get turned on by crazy stuff like feet. Its really just a prefrence that some guys have. Not all guys like asain girls. And for me, it doesn't really matter what their race is, it matters if I like them or not. However, some guys just want a girl they can fuck and be done with. I don't do that. It is wrong and immoral. But, like I said, it is just a prefrence that some guys have.

There isn't really a set time to start making out. A lot of my friends will start makin out probably within minutes after starting a relationship, while I like to wait at least a week. It really just depends on when you and the person you are dating are ready for it.

ok so i think i might have a problem but i'm not sure.
me and some friends when we want to have a good time..take a few of my prescription pills
at first it was once in a while when i did it,
but now i see myself doing it more and more
and i can't get rid of the pills because i do need them...but i am tempted to take more than what is prescribed when there around.
i take them in school too, today i slept through 3 classes because when the meds wear off you get low.
i don't consider myself a pill popper but i'm on my way to being one.

First bit of advice... TELL SOMEONE!! This is extremely dangerous, and you need to stop. I have to agree on the part about telling an adult who can regulate your meds. And as for your "friends", if they pressure you to do something that is dangerous to your health, I seriously doubt they are your friends. I know they just want to have a good time and stuff, but it isn't worth becoming a druggee. You need to stop yourself as soon as you can. One of my friends gat hooked on something, and I wish I could tell you how it turned out for them, but I can't. I don't talk them anymore because they tried to get me to do it. But I can tell you this, I am sure they are not living the life they want to. Please let me know how this turns out for you.

uuhhhh! I hate feeling like this! OMG! When i look in the mirror sometimes i like what i see and sometimes i dont! I've tried and tried to love myself but its hard! I know how you feel. Sometimes I like the way I look, sometimes I wanna stay home cause I think I look like a mess. I am a guy, but this stuff still bothers me. The thing I suggest is that you (and as stupid as this sounds) jsut try not to care. I know it is hard to do, but it is the best thing to do. I mean, a lot of the time I can't, and sometimes I just wanna stay home and be anti-social cause I think I look bad. But you just have to make yourself go, and just always try to think the best of yourself. I have a massively low self-esteem sometimes, and I know it sucks, but you just gotta fight it. When the little voice starts to get to you, just call up a friend and talk about things to keep your mind off it, or do something to keep your mind off of it. Hope this helps

This is mostly for the ladies, or the gays pertaining to his or her boyfriend. If you and your boyfriend were messing around and he got hard but couldn't hold an erection for very long or had an orgasm, does it turn you off or make you think less of him to a point where you no longer want to have a relationship with him? (he says that it's not you but just because he's nervous). This is simply just messing around like playing naked no intercourse or anything.

As a bisexual with a boyfriend, I whink I can help a little. Well, first off, I wouldn't care if my boyfriend could get a boner or not while we were just messing around. It isn't really important. I mean, there really isn't a point in being hard if you're not gonna have sex (sorry for being so blunt). I don't care if my boyfriend can or not, and I don't fele offended when he can't. Sometimes we can, sometimes we can't. I don't think it is a very good thing that you are messing around with other guys thoughs. I can see where you are coming from. The best thing you can do is to go up to her and tell her what other people say. Just be like, "Look, a lot of the people at school are calling you a slut cause you flirt with a lot of people, even after they tell you to stop. I am not trying to make you mad, but I just thought you should know." I have friends like that, and I will tell them that point blank. Does she know people around school think she is a slut? Also, does her boyfriend know that she is very flirty? You might need to ask her if she knows those answers. And I think the thing to do is to talk to her about it. Hope this helps

Well, the first thing I would like to say is that if he really liked you, it wouldn't matter if you are shy or not. Moving right along, there are a few poeple that I like, and I am usually very shy around these people. I find it extremely helpful to get to know them better. Also, hang out with him around friends. I am usually a lot more comfortable around the people I like when I have some of my friends with me. You sound like you really like him, so the first thing I suggest you do is to actually ask him out. I know it isn't traditional for the girl to ask the guy, but that's how I got my first girlfriend. Knowing he likes you says that he will probably say yes, which would be a huge self-esteem booster and cause you to be less afraid around him. Let me know how things turn out. Hope this helps

I have been through this a couple of times before. The best thing to do is just to go to him and say something along the lines of, "I still really like you, but I think I need to stop talking to you for a while because all of these old feelings are coming up and I just need to get rid of them." I am not saying you should never talk to him again, but you should take a break from talking to him if it is hurting you. The one thing to remember is, that there is NOTHING/NOBODY worth being hurt over. I hope this helps.
