19/f. I am a full time college student and during the school year, there's no way i can have a job. i was thinking of getting a summer job, but right now i can't find one. i've searched EVERYWHERE! it's not like i haven't. i just need need to make some extra cash on the side. it doesn't have to be a lot. i'd just like to be able to buy my boyfriend things. he always buys me gifts and cute things and I feel bad sometimes because i want to get him stuff too. he doesn't work either but his parents give him money. my parents barely make any money, at least not enough so they can give me for spending money. i just want to make maybe like $400 a month. less than that is ok too. just spending money. i make these really amazing chocolate lollipops and i use to sell them in high school for fundraisers. but, i don't know if people would buy them now. something like that would be good for me. just something i can do. i can't really handle a job right now. i tried that and i couldn't do it. i don't have the money to pay for college and i have a full scholarship because i have good grades, so i need to keep them up. tutoring is a little harder for me to do because i don't know that many kids other than my family and i wouldn't charge them. any ideas on what i can do to get some spending money on the side but that it won't interfere with my school. thanks!
Well this isn't that much. But I also have the same problem as you, I'm in school and have a baby. So a minimum wage job would pay less than daycare would cost, but I NEED money.
I do this site called cashcrate.com and you fill out surveys for a few bucks. It's tedious but you can make quite a lot of money if you really want to. I only make like 30$ a month, you can definitely make more though.
I also go on this website called helium.com and you submit essays and articles and you can get paid for them. You get paid upfront (anywhere from .50 to 2.50 dollars an article) plus you get paid each time someone finds your article using google. People earn hundreds a month doing this, as for me, it's about ten bucks. However, I don't spend the time writing articles, I just take my school articles (after they're graded) and submit them to that site.
It isn't that much but over time it adds up, I hope this helps!

I'm an 18 year old female weighing about 190 lbs. Even though I don't look morbidly obese, my weight does bother me, and I'd love to lose a bunch of weight, especially for the sake of my health.
At school, we have a gym. Most of the machines are broken (elliptical, bikes with no resistance) but you can still use them. There's also a treadmill, which I love using.
So, here is what I've been doing lately. I use the treadmill for a good 35 minutes, with in incline of 10% and speed of 5. Is that good to lose weight?
I hate the elliptical because it's so tiring, but I love it because it helps lose weight. So I usually do about 10 minutes on it (unfortunately)
And although I don't like the bike because it has no resistance, I use it just for the heck of it, to about 10 minutes as well.
I don't do weights because I'm afraid my already big upper body will get bigger.
So if anyone can help me plan out a regimen, I'd really appreciate it!
You have a really good routine and I would also suggest adding a stability ball or you could get a Bender Ball. They help strengthen things like your core, thighs, butt, and back. They also have DVD's and you can really feel the burn after the workout, I'm using the Bender Ball and I'm also doing the treadmill, I wish I had an elliptical!

Contact your local vets clinic and get help. If an animal throws up more than two days in a row it's very sick and needs help, especially at such a young age.

okay boyfriend trouble. i've been dating this guy for about a month now and im a little confused. i can tell he has very strong feelings for me and he knows i have strong feelings for him too. but he hasn't said i love you yet.. i don't get it. i mean all my ex's had said it way earlier than a month. he's almost said it like 3 times but i have this wierd feeling telling me he's afraid to say it cause he doesn't know what my reaction will be. i know im intimidating at times but i try to soften my expression whenever im with him. what can i do to make him not scared to say it? without losing my way of spitting game and without saying it first. any advice would be grand:) thank ya.
One month isn't a long time. And if you don't rush things it will all end out better... from experience haha. You can pretty much just make him feel comfortable around you and wait. Hope I helped:)
I was wondering if I could talk to some of you guys on the phone about it.
Its just.. my life this school year has taken a disastrous turn. I used to do well in school.. I wanted to get good grades this year so I could get into honors subjects next year. I still do. But there have also just been issues that have kind of been there before.. that just seem worse. I'm not suicidal or anything.. I just need some guidance.. I'm afraid to talk about my issues to so-called friends, and my family members.. they'll be too disappointed.. they still think everything is fine in my life when it is not. maybe I'm a good hider. But its really been taking a toll on me mentally and physically. I don't love myself right now.. something I could say before. I just am frustrated about how I just keep repeating history.. I feel very overwhelmed. There's so much.. I feel like I could solve it in one day.. every day I'm like "i'll fix it today! i'll fix it today!" even on vacations. what happened? nothing. ughghghgh.
I used to try and type out all my issues into questions here but its just overwhelming to read such long paragraphs for people, so I thought communicating through phone would be better. I'd be able to give more information and I'd get better advice.
So I'm looking for people (or someone) who are (or is) willing to give time.. maybe like half an hour to an hour, preferably this week, to talk with me. I'm a 16 year old girl.. I'm looking to talk with another girl my age or older. In fact if you are a guidance counselor it would be so much better, but even ordinary people with good advice can help as well. Im better at giving advice than implementing it on myself.. but its always better from a different perspective. And I'd ask my guidance counselor but I just feel ashamed.. I feel like I've let down everyone who knows I can be so much better. I couldn't bear to show her there's more to it.. especially because of other things going on. (I'll explain on the phone)
Some of my issues include major procrastination (I have work that was due in the 1st marking period, and the 3rd marking period of school is about to start! I'm so bad at sticking to schedules and staying organized. Its really making me stressed out and is the root of a lot of my issues.), trouble making friends and keeping them, binge eating, anxiety (I think I'm a hypochondriac), my complicated home life, love life (which is nonexistent), and not living my life to the fullest.

I really have no close friends right now or anything.. I feel like.. I need to express my thoughts.. all my thoughts are accumulating, which is never a good thing. I cant talk to people I know because they'll judge me for it and everything. I mean I try to talk with my parents about it but they just do not help. they just make me feel worse, which perpetuates my procrastination and binge eating, among other things.

My life has been extremely difficult. I fell in love with a boy and he got me pregnant, it was not planned. We went out for a year, we brokeup when I was 6 months pregnant. He left me for a freshman girl. I am still heartbroken and that was half a year ago.. I feel depressed still and am so sad about it all. I also just found out today that while I was pregnant he had been cheating on me. I thought he was 'the one' but he turned out to be the average asshole.
I know our problems aren't very similar, but I do have problems too. So if you want to talk, then I wouldn't mind. I'll email you, but I don't check my email often so it might take a few days for a reply.
OK so recently my mom decided to give me the sex talk because she saw a text from my boyfriend saying 'i want you so bad right now.XP'. we were talking bout sex but he told me he didn't want to force me into anything and told me he wanted to marry me and would wait till then. were both 13. he\'s 4 months younger than me. so a week or two ago he went to Georgia for football camp for a whole year and they don't allow phones. so.. i cant talk to him or see him for a whole year
If you do have sex, get the pill. I know people always say, don't use a contraceptive, you're too young to have sex anyways! And that ends up getting you pregnant, because I know that when you're in love with someone not much will stop you from sex. You should probably wait, but hell who am I to speak, I didn't. You could say you have really bad craps on your period or go to planned parenthood and get it for free.
I recommend the depo provera shot. It's a birth control shot, you get it once every 3 months. You don't get your period at all, and you don't have to worry about taking the pill everyday because that gets complicated. It doesn't hurt at all either they use a tiny needle, and it's cheaper if you would even pay.

Me and this amazing girl i met last year around november time dated for a month or so. before her i hadnt had a GF for 7 years because i wasnt really all that interested in heart break (not that anyone is...) I fell for her HARD she was everything i ever looked for in a person, to cut a happy story short we broke up because she was moving for uni', its been about 3-4 ish months now since i was with her. i lost my virginity to her and she made me so happy it was unbelievable. but im still thinking about her everyday it used to hurt alot but now she just sticks in my mind for days on end remembering the night we spent... the moment we met... that first kiss and every little thing we talked about on that day.
I dont get out alot... which is probably why iv been single for so long. I dont mind being alone but i find i dont have alot of people to talk to anyway to vent this kinda stuff. i dont know any girls really... at least none that i could call my freinds, i did know a few but i dont really talk with them or see them anymore.

I also met an amazing guy, and he left me for another chick. My heart is still broken, because we went out for a year and he just left me even though he told me he loved me so much, all the time. Everything about him sticks into my head, I still have his clothes in my closet, and all of the presents he's ever given me. I don't get out a lot either and when I do it's with mostly girls. The reason I'm typing this is because I have the same question, but I don't really have an answer.

I am going to the pool with my crush and other friends on Saturday, and its Tuesday right now! and I have a few zits that arnt going away! I have a lot of little bumps on my forehead, a couple on my chin and a few by my nose. They are red and pretty small but I dont want them to get bigger!! I have read ways to get rid of them but they are creams and tea tree oil and stuff, but I dont have money, or roses that grow in the winter!
So, my question to you is, what are some easy remidies around the house to clean it up in a matter of day! Thanks so much!!

The toothpaste one really works! I do that. And I haven't tried the lemon one but I'm sure it also works.

Hey, well I know it will be really hard to do but all you have to do is just come out and say it. Say look I really don't want this to ruin our friendship in anyways, but I'm gay. Or if you want to find out if he is gay or not before you bring it up, say hey I was wondering, what type of people do you like to date, guys? girls? both? Just act really casual.

I've been with my boyfriend for 10 months today, and it's just not the same. We both know things have changed. He told me he still loves me a lot, and i feel the same way about him, but we're bored. Nothing to do. I want to be with him so much, but it's just so frustrating and it hurts because he doesn't show me that he cares about me anymore the way he used to. I'm so tired of feeling so lost in our relationship, but I'm afraid of losing him. I love him and want to be with him, but I'm so tired of not feeling like he cares.
I've tried and tried talking to him about it and nothing really gets resolved, except that he still loves me.

This same thing happened to me at around the same time. It helps if you try new things like maybe going to a movie you wouldn't normally see or go to a party together or something. Also another thing that helped us a lot was trying new things in bed. Haha sorry tmi, but it does work.
If you still just don't feel the same about each other than maybe try to not hangout as much, so that when you do get to hangout it's really special. Don't do that for too long, but once you start getting the same feelings go back to normal.

okk so i took the depo shot in jan was soppoosed to go back in march and take the next one i didnt go. ever since march ive been trying and trying to get pregnant.. I havent had my period since january and then for some reason i got it in august for three days.. does that even count as my period? Anyway me and my boyfriend split up for a little bit so didnt try since before august until yesterday we tried he did it in me three times. Can i get pregnant? I really want to i dont know if it will work because of this stupid shot???/ HElp
The depo shot can stall getting pregnant for up to a year, since it's almost been a year and you have gotten somewhat of a period you do have a chance to get pregnant.
No matter what you have a chance to get pregnant but a year since you've gotten the shot you will have a much higher chance so keep trying :)

i'm on a diet right now, but i'm always hungry even if i eat big meals. What can i do to stop being hungry all the time??
Put a picture of some body image that you want to be like somewhere where you will see it a lot, and then everytime you see it, you will remember why you aren't eating big meals.
You can start by slowly cutting back the meals smaller and smaller, and this makes your stomach smaller, so you will get full easier.
You can also drink glasses of water if you aren't hungry but 'bored' so you want to eat, drink a glass of water before dinner too.
Another thing to eat before dinner or lunch is a handful of almonds, they have a lot of benefits, including filling you up a lot.
Last but not least, every time you go to eat more, or every time you reach for the bag of chips just think about why you are doing this and how if you do eat more the diet wont workout.

Well, first off make sure you keep talking to him and don't ignore him or anything like that because that would just make it awkward between you two. Say you want to be really good friends first and then you will have a chance in the future, and just tell him you can't get into a serious relationship right now but you like him a lot too.
It sounds to me like you would be really cute together so if you ever feel like being with him you could tell him that you are ready to be in a relationship, or something like that.

I just thought that I know some people have rushed into things young, but some people really are ready for marriage at that age, thats the age when my parents got married, and have been together for twenty years.
To me, it just sounded sort of sarcastic and I think young parents can still be good parents.
So after my couple of months revenge on my cheating ex-boyfriend, i have come to forgive, then turn to someone else xD (evil isn't it?)
Anyway his name is Jovon, we have been friends since the 7th grade but ever since the recent breajup, we have gotten much closer. Later on, i told him i had feelings for him (bad idea???) He told me that he likes me too, only thing is he doesnt just want to like me for my body. I completley understand: he's kinda known as a man-whore, he bounces from girl to girl for theirr bodies. He also told me he wanted to spend some one on one time with me, so he could get to know me better, that he didnt want me to be, "another fling" that i could be a promising girlfriend and lover (we are both freaks, so i saw that coming). I need some more opinions!!! Could he be real serious about me?? I mean he has fingered 3 of my classmates in short-term relationships (1-3 months)and then moves on. But if it was like the others he would've forced it on me...

I think that the habit of cheating will always come back somehow in most cases but I don't know the guy. I don't think you should go for it right away, just spend time as friends and make him really care so much about you that he wont hurt you again.
If he is a true manwhore/player, he would know that the like "i don't just want you for your body" will work on a lot of girls.
So he could be telling the truth, or really just wanting to sweeten up to you. Be careful, and take it slow :)
I don't think 14 is way too young to start being serious, it depends on the type of person you are and everything. I'm 15 and I met the love of my life a year ago when I was your age. Too bad he didn't feel the same way. :(

Welll me and my ex broke up in last october because he cheated one me with his ex girlffriend. We was in love . Den I met this boy . He was in my class . We started going out in december . We are goign strong for 9 months now . But its like now my ex wants to come along in the picture and idk y I let him . We are both in charge of the youth events in da church so its like we have to talk . And one day as we was planning something we kissed for a long time . I told my boyfriend because I dnt like to keep stuff from him . So my boyfriend didn't break up with me . Im so thankful but he said I need 2 choose between him or my ex. I dnt wanna be with my ex because he is da past . But I wanna cut my ex out . Well not out completely but I just feel like im not ova him . I lost my virginity to my currnet boyfriend and my ex got mad at me when I told him . My current boyfriend is very serious about realtionships and I like that . I just wanna know how can I get ova my ex .
I was in a situation similar to this a few years ago. You basically just have to think about how you felt when you found out that he cheated on you. Horrible I'm sure. And once a cheater always a cheater I believe is how most cases go. Just think about how much more of a potential this boyfriend is and how your ex obviously doesn't care about you too much if he cheated on you.
I'm sure he's a good person, but if you want to stop thinking about your ex you need to sort of get mad at him. Because if your just mad then you care and think less about the person.

For weeks I have been iffy about even writing this.
I am young 18 and just got married in August. I am pregnant that is not why we got married but I think we rushed into it. We were planning the wedding already had my wedding dress before i found out I was Pregnant.
Sometimes I find myself regretting getting marred My reasons. I wanted to work days and go to school nights. It would be tough but id be able to better myself for me and my family he through a fit and didnt support me at all. told me either work or go to school but advises me to work because we need the money. Being pregnant I have my mood swings like most if we have an argument its all my fault he will yell at me and blame me then make me feel guilty by saying oh its always all my fault i forgot your so perfect. sometimes he makes im crap. If i feel nauses or sick at night or anything and he wants sex he pouts and acts like he is mad by not saying a workd until he gets it then goes to sleep. he goes hunting, fishing, baseball teams and tournaments etc. anything he wants and i dont argue about it i just let him.
I have asked a million times to look harder for a job. he works 2 days aweek at a sale barn doing something he likes i work full time on my swallon feet 40+ hours a week and come home exhausted and tired. its like he dont care he doesnt want to even try to look he put an app. in at burgerking one app.. in 5 weeks? we live at my dads. which i dont feel is save but dont have a choice. hes lazy
and to top it off he always wants to spend money. i used to get food stamps which just stopped but hed want a gallon of tea every 2 days. go out and buy food he wants all the time because hes to lazy to cook one thing or wait for it to get done. as soon as he gets paid he goes and spends most of the money on garbage food and gets mad when i tell him i dont want it id rather eat food i cook at home.
I love my husband to death trust me and want to work things out but i dont know what to do i talk to him about it and itslike it is in one ear and out the other.
For everyone saying divorce him, I'm thinking those people have never been in this kind of situation. When your pregnant and you are married you don't just get into a divorce. And if your pregnant and have someone to help you through it, it's not just easier to raise them yourself.
So don't listen to the people saying leave them, because I'm 15 and pregnant and had an amazing boyfriend for a year, and then decided to breakup with him and it was the biggest regret of my life I miss him so much. We barely talk now, and he's already realized it's easier being single. But I miss him.
Sorry if this didn't help much but it made me mad that everyone was saying leave him, I understand that you love him and he just has flaws like my boyfriend did. I'm in college and this summer is the first time I have a job where I am making enough money to really start saving for the future. I have a regular checking account, but is there another place I can put my money where it can grow and earn interest faster? Any advice?
I earn my money in a CD, it's where you sign a contract with the bank, can't get your money taken out for either 6 or 12 months at a time, and you get a lot more interest off of it. I make around 40 dollars a year off of my CD with only 1800 dollars in it.
