Ok, so I used to want to be an archeologist. But since job shadowing, I'm not sure that that's the job I want, I like the history part and the digs, but not the science. I really want to help people, travel, and deal with history. I enjoy a good debate, and have a strong scense of justice too, but I don't know if being a lawyer would be right for me. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? They would be very helpful and appreciated. Thank you!
The first thing that I would do is look through the newspaper and see if there are any jobs that you like or are good for you. I do think a lawyer goes good for you but if you are not into that then you could work at a historical museum of some sort. You can help people, deal with history and maybe answer some questions of where to travel. If that does not go well, a teacher, but i wouldn't know if you wanted this, you can teach history, help kids with answers and questions, and you can teach about travel, as in routes, and states. Maybe this advice is good but what will I no, I am not in a job yet or close. Hope it works out for your job!!
ok well for new years i was out of town and so was my b/f so we couldnt even talk on the phone, i was in a RV park in palm dessert and i was at the rec. center in the resort and this guy(lets call him Bill) came in and asked if he could play pool with me and i siad yeah, this was a day befor new years eve. im a BIG flirt and i dont relize when im flirting, and the next day i went to the rec center to meet up with Bill and later that night we were tired out from playin B-Ball so we were sittin together on the couch well when the new year came he kissed me and i kissed him back, and i shouldnt of i know now im really guilty becuz im not the kind of girl who cheats on her b/f,and ill never see Bill agian but i still feel guilty what im asking is should i feel really guilty for this? should i tell my b/f? or try to forget the whole thing?HELP!
You should feel guilty! Tell you your boyfriend, you can't keep that secret inside of you forever, if I kept a secret from mine, then I would feel like I was locked up in a cage and can never come out!! ok well this is kind of embarassing(sp)but i have sweaty arm pits..even when im cold..i no i should see a doctor so i can get some med. but i dont want to tell my mom cause its embarassing(sp)should i tell her?im going on vacation in feb. and i dont want that problem to effect my good time because its going to be hot there..and in school people always ask why im always wearing a hoddie..and i dont want to tell them..but i want to tell my mom so it will stop but like i said it embarassing(sp)...please dont respond if your going to make fun of me

It happens to everyone. What you need to do is when you are taking a shower, really rinse under your armpits. Put some good deoderant on and maybe even a couple of sprays of purfume or stuff. Just keep doin this every day, trust me, it will help!!
Right now, my hair is REALLY blonde (i just dyed it, but it was still really blonde before i dyed it), and i want my hair the color of Paris Hiltons. Does anybody know if she bleaches her hair? or how does she get it that light?

I'm not sure. She probally bleached her hair. What you can do is take a picture of here like in a magazine or on t.v. and show it to the barber's, they'll know wut to do!!!
I've been with my boyfriend for about 2 1/2 weeks and I really like him. My only problem is that I'm afraid to trust him because I don't want to get hurt emotionally. I've heard that he cheats on his girlfriends, and he lies, and he's dirty, and he's just using me, but when I'm with him, he tells me and shows me that he's not like that at all. I really want to be able to love him, but will I regret it? Should I let down my guard? He's 3 years older than me if it helps. Thanks in advance.

hey. i hope that you can help me. one of my best friends and i have been in an on-going fight for more than 2 weeks. ive been apologizing, and it doesnt seem to be changing anything. she always finds a reason to be mad at me. idk whats going on. shes been spreading rumors about me, too. and threatened to have people jump me! weve been best friends for almost 9 years. should i just forget that she ever existed, or should i keep begging for her forgiveness?

Well first thing first, I would get her a gift. I have had this question a couple of times. So, after giving her the present, ask her if you can have a little talk with her. Make sure you include why are you mad at me, I just don't understand, can we talk about. That is what I would do, it happens to me all the time. If she doesn't tell you anything, then talk to your parent, a councelor, anyone who you think that can give you advice different than what I'm telling you right now. You know what, make some new friends, try to make her jealous, don't talk to her for a while. Probally after two months of not talking to her, I would stop, but she might get over it. Hope this advice works!!

Well the right desision would to stick with your friend, but if you really want to go to the party, I would ask them if your friend can tag along and go with you to the party and then go back and have some fun with your friend. Make the right desision. Later!!
wow this is incredibly embrassing but... ok so i started shaving my armpits like normally people do years ago but for the past maybe... year? when ever i shave i still have this little bit of hair left! so i had a venus and figured the blade was just dull so my mom got me an offbrand bag of razors but that didnt help either! ive never told anyone though.. but does anyone have any idea how to get rid of this? thanks!
It happens to me sometimes when I shave my legs. I would use some good shaving cream with a fresh razor. Change your razor about every other week. If that doesn't work here is one word for you-WAX!! Hope it works. Rate me!!!

If you want a boyfriend really bad, I think you should ask your friends if they can hook you up with anybody. First try that, after you should think of some guys that you like and maybe try to attract them to you and see what happens. You will find your special someone someday! Hope you find one!
I have this boyfriend, he's 17 and I'm 14. My boyfriend's home situation and law situation aren't too good. He has outworn his welcome at my house because of my dad. I have a boyfriend, Justin. We have been going out for what will be two months tomorrow. Anyways, he came over Friday to hang out and stuff. When he went to leave he said he would call me when/if they got home. It's Monday and he still hasn't called. Now, I'm the type of person that totally stresses over things like this. I'll play out every situation in my mind and possible outcomes.
Of course, they did have to go back and paint a house, and they are moving, but that wouldn't be it I don't think. What if he doesn't like me anymore or he doesn't want to talk to me? First of all you have to stop worry-ing, this is all messing with your head. The first thing you should do is call him! You have to get in touch with him. After the 20th call, call his cell, if he has one, or his parents cell, make sure they don't suspect anything!!!! If he never picks up then go to his house if you can!! I hope it works out for you!!
Okay, so I like this guy, and he and I are really good friends and he always asks me for help with this girl that he's with, and he's always saying how he wishes he could have a girl like me. Now, I'm single and I've made it clear to him that I like him, and he knows it. But here's the catch, I'm Jewish and he's VERY Christian and he doesn't date anyone who's not Christian. What should I do? I respect his wishes and all, but we're only in highschool and nothing's gonna live on till forever...
I think that you two should just remain friends and not be boyfriend and girlfriend because its not going to work out cause he won't be with a non Christian. Don't let this bother you if you guys are never together, just be best friends and know each other and don't get out of communication, always stay in touch. Hope you will make the right decision!!

Okay. My boyfriend and I are really close in every way. We love each other completely, and we're technically engaged. The only thing is...he'd told me he was staying here for college, but then he went on a trip with his family to see the rest of their family this break, and all of a sudden decided he wants to go there for college. That would be a four year separation, maybe more, and I don't know how to handle it. He went away this summer for 2 months and it, like, killed me. I can't imagine not seeing him for a year. We're not going to break up or anything, and I'm not going to try to make him stay (though I'd like to) because he'd resent me, I'm sure, if I did. I don't want to make him stay here for me, but he's planning to go to tech school. Can't he just stay here? I would go with him, but there are absolutely no good vocal programs where he's planning to go, and I already got accepted into a college here that does. (I'm doing vocal performance as my major).
Anyway...I don't know what to do. I almost don't want to talk to him about it because I'll end up crying and making him feel bad, then feeling bad about making him feel bad. Lol. Plus, I hate for him to see me cry.
So...anything to say?
If I were you, i would have to handle it and try to keep in much contact as possible. I would talk to him over the phone, computer and even in chats on your phones. Don't let this mess with your head, visit him on breaks and weekends and ask him if he'll come see you when you can't go up to him. Just make sure this doesn't affect your love life. Okay, 3 of my very good friends think they're fat... and they're NOT!!! we're only 13 years old and they've been going on all these diets. They hardly eat anything at lunch! I cant convince them that they're not fat! I'm really afraid they're going to go anorexic or bulemic. I dont know what to do, or what to say to them to convince them they're not fat. I've talked to them MANY times about it, but they just dont believe me. It really bugs me that they think they're fat, cuz they're not fat AT ALL! please help me!
I think that you should take them to the doctor or just ask the doctor if there is anything that you can do too help them. If he or she can't do anything, then you should have a talk with your parents too ask if they can have a talk with their(your friends) parents. I hope that this advice will work!!
My friend is a religous Christian, and most of my friends hate him when he goes to into "prophet" mode. Lately they've been extra mean. They threw him out of the group, and swore if any of us talked to him we'd get out of the group. I'm still friends with him, and I talk to him. They havent found out but I'm planning on telling them cause they control my every choice.
But there's one draw back...How can I be friends with him, and like my best friend...(whos a guy)....how can I like a guy who trys to control me?? how can I still be friends with the christian even though I like my best friend?
You have to choose between the christian and your best friend. If you don't want to choose, then you can tell your best friend and if he won't let you be friends with the Christian then tell him that we might not have to be friends if your going to control me all the time. If that doesn't work, tell your parents, a councelor or your teacher. I hope it works out for you!!!

Did you check with the doctor yet? If you haven't, thats ok, you can try putting on lotion and cream. If that doesn't work, you SHOULD check with the doctor and maybe he or she will give you medication or some special pores lotion that will help it. I hope it works out for you!!
I love having sleep overs they are so much fun but sometimes I wish that I could have them where i live and not feel nervous becuase i live in an apartment. No one has ever said anything bad about living in an apartment but where i live thei rare very few and everyone i know lives in a house well most people do. I get embarresed when people come over becuase i kno they think that im poor and everything and they dont expect it becuase i always buy expensive and really nice stuff pluss clothes because my mom has more money to give me than when we used to live in a house . Should i be ashamed of this?
You should not be ashamed of this because everyone lives in different houses and if you are happy in the apartment you live in today, don't let that stuff bother you. Your friends like you for you, not the house you live in!

You should probally do a pattern so you can jog at one time which can keep your weight steady and you can run at another time which could make you bones stronger or you can walk at some times if you are really tired out. I hope I helped!
