Alrighty so I'm a junior (17 and a girl) in high school and I previously attended another high school for about 2 and a half years, but recently transferred into this new school. I've been in the school for about 4 months or so and haven't gotten too involved into social circles because I'm a pretty shy person... So, here comes the problem, I have this huge crush on a guy in one of my classes. I don't know too much about him, but from what I've seen he seems like a very laid-back, funny person. I noticed that we make frequent eye contact multiple times throughout the class. I try smiling at him to leave a good impression, but he usually gets flustered and walks away. Occasionally we make off-handed good-humored comments about each other (to each other) and I always find that we usually end up very close together even if we don't talk. We always end up paired up, using each other's equipment, or just general situations where we get stuck together. Now, I'm a bit helpless because I really like him but I don't have the confidence to actually start up conversations. I also have two friends (who are guys) who I'm very friendly with (physically- hugging, etc) in the class as well and I've noticed my crush always looks upset when I'm with them. What should I do? Just be confident :) I know what you mean because I used to be that shy too! You never know what could happen if you don't give them a chance and start talking to him! Starting off as friends is a great idea and then you can see where it goes. If you don't go any further that's okay, but hopefully you can hold on to your friendship ;)

I have been feeling super jealous lately. I don't know why, I'm not usually like this. It all started when my boyfriend said he was going to get drinks with co-workers after work last friday. Most of them women. And I just didn't like that he was going without me. (I work late and couldn't go) What's more is that he didn't even tell me he was going until I asked him to do something after work. Also he carpools with this girl, who almost never pays him gas money, and I find out that she went to the bar after work two Fridays ago, and he bought her nearly $30 in drinks.
Anyways, I told him that I really dont like what's happening and I would prefer he doesn't go for drinks after work. Carpooling is one thing but alcohol doesn't need to be involved. And he said in a nutshell, too bad you need to trust me. Like, I do trust him but what he's doing makes me so uncomfortable, and he just thinks I'm overreacting.
Btw, I'm 21 my bf is 24. Together 5 years.
I need some advice here. Should I be feeling like this? Am I overreacting? Or am I right to feel this way? I just don't know. (link)

You have a right to feel like this :) Jealously is not necessarily a bad thing, it means that you love your boyfriend so much :) I mean he can totally have friends that are girls, because I am guessing you probably have guy friends :) Also, yes I agree that carpooling is fine, but alcohol is weird and does not to be included in this situation. It can totally make matters worse. You really need to set boundaries and ask him how he would feel if you were always going out with your guys friends? :)

so me and my boyfriend are I guess sexualy active...I mean he hasn't penetrated so I guess it doesn't count its mostly fore play and making out any way its heating up and you see im a virgin.. Communication is the most important key in any relationship :) No matter how shy you are, you need to say something to him! Be honest with him and say I am nervous and if he is a great boyfriend he will understand and make you less nervous!!!

i have been confused about what i should be, i am a female that is more comfortable dressing in male clothes, i act more masculine then i do feminine however i do have certain female traits that keeping coming out (maternal - from when i was a step mum). i have been reading up and considering going through with a sex change operation. the only thing that is holding me back is i want kids and want to be able to conceive naturally. Have you ever thought about talking to a therapist and helping you decide what is the right decision for you? I don't want you to take that the bad way, but sometimes it's good to have a therapist to express your ideas and he or she can help you move closer to your decision :) whatever you choose, just make sure it's your decision in the end. Also, about the kid part, I mean adoption might be an option and adoption is a great option because there are so many children out there that need to be adopted for the right family :) Good luck!

I am a girl,age 23. my father has died in 2009, my mom is alive but she never take care of me. i live with my elder sister,she has 3 kids. she always quarreled with me. if i don't do any household work, she got angry with me. i have boyfriend,who never let me cry,he love me so much.i didn't meet with him for last 3month because my sister never allowed me to meet with him. i stay my room whole day lonely.nobody of my family call me or ask me anything. my study is also hampering day by day. for my condition my boy friend also feeling very bad for me and his study also destroying day by day.i cant tolerate this anymore.it is seem to me that my death is the nice solution for all.my family will get rid of me and my boyfriend will get a better life.i have no way to live.what should i do beyond this?

omg please don't think like this at all :) I know you having a tough time, but killing yourself isn't the right answer :) I want you to know that even though I don't know you, I will be praying for you! Your boyfriend is an incredible person and even though it's tough stuff for him to go through, he would not want to see you dead. If you want him to have a better life, then stay with him. He would have a terrible life of depression if you left the earth. :)

My friend found a baby kitten at her work and I ended up taking it because she couldn't. It looks about no more than 2 weeks. It can bearly hold its head up and shakes when it walks, its eyes are fully open and it fits in the palm of your hand. I have a bottle for it and it takes a few drinks then pushes away. How do you know how much to feed it? Do you know exactly how old it i? Do you know what I need to do for a kitten this young? Please help!!! (link)

I get along really well with my family, and I love them. But my mom is a very conservative Christian and I (secretly) disagree with her on many topics, and I don't want her to find out because it would negatively affect our relationship. The biggest thing I have to hide is that I am agnostic. If she found out, it would destroy our friendship. I also need to hide my views on politics, morality,and sexuality. How can I hide all of these things from her without her knowing so that we remain close? (link)

This is a tough question :) It\'s hard for anyone to hide their real feelings, but sometimes it\'s necessary. Although I said that, I believe honesty in so important in any relationship! I tell my mom almost everything, so that our relationship stays together!!! ;)

Hey everybody as you probally know mothers day is next Sunday and I have no idea what to get my mom for mothers day because she is allergic to almost everything that has a scent to it snd I don't want to get her flowers be cause I just got her flowers for her birthday 2 weeks ago and I don't want to do the coupon book thing because I DLdid that last year for mother's day .
