ok..I have scoliosis and my mom says doing pilates or yoga would help..would that really work?

I also have scoliosis, but had to have a spinal fusion at 15. My doctor always told me that any kind of exercise was good as long as you don't overdue it. I work out regularly and I do have pain, but I feel better now than I did before when I didn't exercise. There is a web-site dedicated to people with scoliosis and they have wonderful forums. You could also go there for more information. The support you get is fantastic and they have a wealth of information about everything!

i dont really no what category this should be under,but anyways...

My legs are sort of sensitive and get dry a lot,does anyone no what shaving cream that would pervent dry legs?

I myself have very sensitive skin and can't use any of the fragranced shaving creams. My suggestion to you would be to use body wash. I use oil of olay for sensitive skin and it works great. Just make sure that right after you shave you apply lotion to help prevent dry skin.

Ok, so I went out with this guy, let's say in like November. Well we broke up after about 2 weeks and it was squashed, didn't talk much, started dating other people rather quickly and such. We've been hanging out recently and have had sex, but he has a girlfriend, and yes, I do feel used, but the way he acts and talks towards me, really sends me mixed signals and I'm not sure as to what to do. I don't care what he says to you he isn't worth your time. Think about it ... he cheated on his girlfriend with you. Do you see a reason why he wouldn't do the same to you?? I sure don't. He obviously doesn't have any respect for you or he would've ended his relationship before getting anywhere near sleeping with you. You say you feel used? Well, YEAH! That's exactly what happened and trust me he'll tell you whatever you want to hear to continue to do so until he's done with you! Please don't waste your time. Tell him to take a hike and go out and find yourself a man that will treat you with the respect you deserve!!

hey im the person that asked bout the guy and inviting his friend too. well its not that im obsessed and ask him out all the time but he is REALLY shy about asking me places. i know, honestly it drives me nuts and in any other situation i would NEVER ask them out but this time i know its one of the things i just gotta do. please share more! your not one of those 13 year old girls that doesnt know what theyre talking about.

When a guy is into you, he let's you know it. He calls, he shows up, he wants to meet your friends, he can't keep his hands off you and so on. You may think that he is "too shy," but remember this: Men find it very satisfying to get what they want. If they want you, they'll find you.

You're still young ... there's still time for you!! lol Seriously though, you should be going out and having a good time and not waiting by the phone. If he creates expectations for you, and then doesn't follow through on little things, he will do the same for big things. Be aware of this and realize that he's ok with disapointing you.

Better than nothing is not good enough for you!! There's a guy out there who will want to tell everyone that he's your boyfriend. Quit goofing around and go find him!

ok so my boyfriend and me have been going out for about a month and a half or so.. he goes to a different school and hes 16, im 13.. i loved him sooo much! last night i was talking to him online and i asked if he was gonna come and meet me at the ice skating rink (where i always meet him) and he said "maybe, i might go to the mall with some friends instead but if we dont go then ill come see you." i felt kind of offended by this that he wanted to go see his friends instead of me. i can only see him on friday nights so if he didnt come i wouldnt see him till next friday (if he decided to come) and so i was like oh, alright i guess. then later that night i was talking to one of his friends... (not a very good friend tho) i only met him last weekend when my boyfriend wasnt at the ice skating rink... we talked for like 5 minutes... then when we were talking online last night he asked if i was goin ice skating.. i said probably not, he asked why and i told him about me being kinda mad about john not going. so then i ask what jake has said about me to him. chris, (the guy im talkin to online) says he wont tell me what john said about me because he doesnt want to hurt me. i finally get him to tell me what jake does on the nights when he doesnt go to the rink with me. he tells me that john has been seeing another girl and goes to hook up with her and only comes and sees me if shes not availiable. im so upset when i hear this... but i think his friend likes me so i dont know if hes telling the truth... but john never tells me where he goes when he doesnt come.. it all makes sence... both stories do... i dont know what to do...

Who knows if John is telling the truth or not, but do you really need to know?? Don't you have enough reasons in front of you to dump this looser??

Hunny, if he is really into you he would spend anytime he had with you. He goes to a different school ... think about it ... how often does he see his "friends?" Ok ... now how often does he see you?? Hopefully you can understand what I'm trying to point out to you. He isn't worth your time especially at your age. You should be going out and having a good time. Not sitting at home wondering when mr.wonderful is going to make some time for you! I think you know what to do!

my b/f and i have been together for a month and last weekend he already had plans (he really did) then he felt guilty for not being with me then when i asked him what he was doing that day. then yesterday, i asked him what him what he was doing tomorrow (today) and he already had plans to spent the night at friends house. the excuse is legit but i really want to spend time with him. today, we would be going to see a movie with a bunch of friends so should i invite his friend too? Ok...this may sound harsh to you but it has to be said. He's just not that into you if he's not asking you out!! (a quote from one of my favorite books - mentioned in my column) And trust me when I say these things I've seen it all!!

If you can find him, then he can find you. If he wants to find you, he will. Men don't forget how much they like you so PUT DOWN THE PHONE! You ARE good enough to be asked out!!

Lately, my rating average on my site is really messed up. The other day I had 65 ratings, and today I have 61. There isn't anyway to delete a rating after giving it, is there? Whenever it says I have let's say 64 ratings now, my average doesn't change at all. I heard some where in your profile settings you can get your average right away. Any clue about that? Help.

In your profile setting you may have chosen the option for a deleted question to not be shown on your column which can explain the change in how many ratings. I'm not sure if you can delete a rating after giving it as I've never answered a question, but check the FAQ and you may find your answer there.

They calculate your ratings based upon the ones you've received within the last 30 days. Click on "sitemap" and then on "calculate feedback," and you'll see what I'm talking about!

My little brother, hes one, he was on the computer and somehow managed to make everything look HUGE. I normally know how to change it, but it wouldn't work, everything looks fat, I right clicked on the desktop, went to properties and did all of that, could someone tell me how to fix this, I rate high.

Ready....step by step...here we go!! :D

Start, settings, control panel, display, appearance, then under "scheme" you can select how you want your windows to look i.e. SIZE, color, etc. Choose "windows standard," and all will be good!!

I saw your answer regarding a question about bras (the girl was asking about the silk tops) and it seemed like you know what you're talking about, so... I've been wondering for a while, What's the best "date bra"? Like the kind of bra you'd wear on a date with a guy, when you kinda know something will happen, but you're not going to go all the way with the guy. What's the best style of bra for me to wear when a guy is feeling me up? (I hope I've worded this right... it's kind of a wierd question, I know)

Well it really depends upon what you are wearing, but if I'm going based upon the fact that you are going to be man-handled this is my suggestion to you! :)

well im 15 and i dated this guy about a year ago and we broke up cuz he cheated on me. well not physically but he talked to sum girl over the phone told her he loved her and mad panns to hook up with her..while we were going out.(which never actually happened)..well its been about a year...we stayed friends but not very close..and he wants to go bac out...should i try again or let him go?..he broke my heart once do u think he wll do it again? is he telling th truth that he really care...or does he just want sex? why did he wit so long?...theres so much that i dont understand..help plez

The only way you can get those answers is by asking him. Yes there is a chance that he'll do it again. He could've also realized what a mistake he made and could really be trying to make up for it. Sex, yes ... he is a man. lol :)

But seriously ...
My suggestion to you would be to talk to him about everything. Ask him why he did it and what's so different now, etc. After you've had a good talk with him decide whether or not you think there is a chance. If I were you and I were still interested I would keep it as a friendship and see what developed from there. But keep bounderies set so he can't use you. Trust me...if he is really that into you he'll do whatever it takes and stick around until you are ready. If he doesn't ... then he isn't worth your time dear!!

P.S. I don't know if you've heard of this book or not but it's definately worth it. My friend and I refer to it as our "dating bible." It's called, "He's Just Not That Into You" by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo.

I don't know why but I am scared of love, but I want it so bad. I am 19 and have still never had a boyfriend or even a first kiss because I want my first kiss to be special. I am considered an attractive girl and guys like me and I like them too but I won't let anything happen because I personally feel like I don't carry enough self-confidence which my friends get angry about. I think I worry about life in general and I'm scared that I'll just end up alone forever. What should I do?

You need to learn to love yourself. How can you truly love someone else if you can't even love yourself? I'm sure there are tons of things that you like about yourself ... think about it. You even said in your question that you think you are an attractive girl ... good starting point! :D Don't worry about everything soo much. Once you relax about the situation everything you want will happen before you know it. I'm sure there are plenty of guys waiting in line so we know that's not the problem. Just lay back, relax, and enjoy the ride! :D Just don't do anything you don't feel right about. Trust your instincts! :)

my father abuses me what should i do

My suggestion to you would be to tell a school counselor. I went through a similair situation but only it was my brothers best friend and I was seven. I didn't tell anyone until I was in middle school and I regret it. Don't feel alone in this situation and don't be afraid to tell the truth. I did it too late and he never got caught and I'll never know if he did it to another little girl and I'll never be able to live with myself because of it. Just think of it happening to someone else. Your counselor should be very supportive of you in this situation and could call your mother into the school and tell her for you if it's too hard for you. I truly hope this helps you and you can have the strength to talk about it to someone. You didn't do ANYTHING wrong, please remember that!! Ok well this is definately a unique question but I will do my best to answer it. Especially since you took the time to choose me to answer it for you and I know it's not an easy question.

I'm assuming that the "extra skin" you are referring too is the lips of your vagina. It is normal for them to be long or thick or even for one to be longer than the other so don't think your weird because of it. And don't worry about the guys. About 99.9% of the time the little insecurities we have about ourselves they never notice. Even the ones we think are sooo obvious.

I could be answering your question wrong since I'm not entirely sure what you are referring too. But what I would suggest either way is for you to see an ob doctor and ask them what they think. You can go without your parents permission if you have a planned parenthood center near you. I don't know where you live but here's the website: plannedparenthood.com ~ you can locate a center near you or perhaps you can speak to a doctor on the phone and see if they can help you that way. You can also check out webmd.com and see if they have any information there. i've had this friend with benefits for almost a year now and i decided that i dont want to keep it going. i started having feelings for him and i told him but i don't think he liks me. i think it would be better to just end it because i dont want to get hurt so i wanted to know if anyone has some advice on a good way to end being fwb without ruining our friendship

Well I've learned that having a friend with benefits isn't a great idea! I went through the same thing and ended up having feelings for him. But I could tell that the only thing great about me to him was in the bedroom. My case may be different than yours but I pretty much stopped taking his "booty calls" and started talking about other men of interest and so forth ... he took the hint and it didn't take him long to move on. But our friendship will never be the same ... we don't talk nearly as much as we used to. It sucks, but that's the risk ya take when you have "benefits."

The only thing I can suggest to you really is to sit down with him and be completely honest. Tell him that you want to continue the friendship, but you can't have the benefits w/out a relationship which obviously isn't in the future. Who knows how he'll react. Hopefully he can understand and your friendship can stay!

i take showers every day..i wash myself very good..im very clean and i have pimple/zit things on my butt..i dont kno wat they r and i dont kno how to get rid of them! IM ONLY 13 and im embarressed by themmm!! How do i get rid offf themmmmmmmmmm.THANK u so much

You need a good body wash with exfoliation beads. As long as you aren't allergic to fragrance St.Ive's apricot scrub is really great. But for right now you can put some good 'ole neosporin on them which will help them heal and prevent scaring.

I saw other columnists answer questions about blackheads and answer with "blackhead strips." I've seen them on T.V, but I've never known where to get them. Does anybody know where I could find these because they seem like they'd help alot! Thanks ♥

You got enough good advice upon where to go to get them, but I wanted to give you a brand that's a favorite of mine. I have found biore' blackhead strips to work the best! They are great!!

Ive been using this instant sunless tanner by NO-AD. It's in color medium and works fantastically. Im currently just using it on my bod but would like to tan my face as well. But I fear considering how delicate my face is (I break out easily) Im not sure if I should risk it. Has anyone else use a tanner oh their face? Any advice? I rate. :)

Ya know .... I have no idea what would happen! I tried to look it up for you as I was curious as well. I found out that you can put sunless tanner on your face (very carefully!) but I couldn't find anything that was very specific like about acne. If I were you I would go to a department store and ask one of the skin-care clerks. They will have more information for you and you can even test one of their self-tanning products while you are there for free. Here is a few sites that I looked at if you are interested:

i got my period last month on the 9th .. i am 17 years old and dont have a set schedule yet for my period...i have had it for 3 years now yet dont have a regular schedule..anyhow, i got it last month on the 9th ..it is now the 13 and i still havent gotten it for this month...does this mean i missed it or should i give it another week or so until i start panicking? i am sexually active and there is a possibiltiy i could be pregnant, but do you think i should start worrying NOW or not yet? thank you so much in advance, ive been driving myself crazy here.

It is normal for your period to fluctuate by a few days every month. But if it gets to be over 2 weeks late then I would start to worry. Take a pregnancy test at home. Either way you should see your obgyn even if you do get your period because they could put you on birth control which in some cases helps irregular periods become regular! :) And if you are sexually active you should be on birth control anyway for you!!

What kind of bra should I wear underneath a slik/lace tank top (specific brand would be helpful)? I see girls wearing them all the time and you can't tell they're wearing a bra! Everytime I try, my bra shows. Please help me out :)

You need to find a seamless and flesh-tone bra. Here a little more info for ya for future reference. :)

*Bulky sweater - A bra with shaping.
*Tight sweater - A seamless, uplifting bra.
*Business suit w/o a blouse - a bra designed w/a low center panel of front closing.
*Halter, Tank or Strapless - A strapless or convertible bra.
*Tight Tee or polo shirt - a seamless bra
*silk or sheer blouse - **seamless and flesh-tone bra** :D
