Hi! I'm Jeremy and this is my advice column. I am 13 years old and in the 8th grade. I love my girlfriend kristen (mypainisreal) more than anything in the world. Okay I asked a question before about boners before. :/ Please dont delete this question, I need some opinions. When a guy gets a boner is his penis supposed to go up or straight. Somone told me its a sign of cancer. :( Is that true? Or does it have something to do with age? Help please!!!!

No...its not a sign of cancer. I dunno who told you that but when you get a boner the penis fills with blood to allow sexual interaction. Its completely normal. It just shows that they have sexual urges.

Okay, well, there's a guy I know from MSN who I've been talking to for about a year now, friend of a friend, never met him in person. Last year we mentioned that it might be interesting to actually meet, though he did think that it might be a little awkward, but twice our plans got screwed up one way or another so we just dropped the subject. I didn't speak to him all summer because his computer broke down, and when he came back on I thought maybe I'd mention our idea again. He said he thought it might still be weird, but I said we should give it a try anyway because there was nothing to lose. He agreed and even suggested a place we could meet. A few weeks later, on a Friday, I said how about Sunday and he said yes, but we didn't decide on a time or anything, and come Sunday I didn't see him online until the late afternoon and he didn't even bring up our half-made plans. Anyway, the point of all this is that I really don't know what to do, whether I should keep trying or not. I really want to meet him because I like his personality but for all I know he finds me annoying. I don't know whether to let it go for another while so as not to seem desperate, or if I should just confront him and ask him to just tell me whether he wants to meet me or not so I can go from there. I really don't want to sound pushy. Sorry this was so long, but any advice would help. Thanks.

Just IM him and be like im really interested in meeting you. What do you think? Were you serious about meeting a while back? And if he does want to meet take like your best freind or like someone with you because it could turn out to be dangerous.

Well go to a nearby graveyard sit down...and find a tombstone near you. Then say the name. Say (name here) we want to talk to you. Please come and talk. And if his spirit answers then ask questions. Like...were you married.. stuff like that

ok well ive been cutting for about 5yrs and ive been trying to stop but its not helping i stoped for like 2 months but i got started again and stuff like it feels good to let out all the stress and stuff but i was reading something about it cause i had to go to the person that helps u and all they say is like use a rubber band but it doesnt work but i still wear it and i dont kno how to stop im sick of lying to ppl that i dont do it cause they ask where i get all those scars (cause there all up and down my legs and arm)

Well if you cant stop then you need to get help. It could kill you one day. Its really scary to think about that but its true. One thing that helps is to get a freind that you can tell ANYTHING! Then when your feeling really depressed just tell him/her everything. And if that doesnt work then try methods with the rubber bands. Just like hit yourself with them like 20 times and hard! And if that doesnt help i suggest talking to a teacher, councilor, or a parent. It could get to be really serious. Also try eating chocolate when you want to cut! It makes you feel happy (at least for me it did)!
But if it continues tell some one...i mean yeah you might have to go through all that therapy but its that or your life. Its hard....i know...just do it for you!

What is the right way to tell someone that you dont like them?

Well just say like your bothering me. Or dont even tell them..liek when they talk to you just walk away or just say i dont know and stare tat the floor. Sooner or later they'll get the picture.

Nothing really. You probably just didnt have many people interested in you when you were younger. Its actually a good thing because you'll wait and want to do things sexually with someone that you love. Or you might be gay. Hope i helped

Okay well the first thing. There is no right way to kiss. We all kiss differently. A good place to put your hands is like on his/her waist or on there chin..cheeks...around there necks. If your serious and want to try frenching then you just caress your partners tounge with yours. Hope i helped

okay well theres this kid and i known him for 2 years but we didnt know eachother 2 years ago because we didn't have the same classes but he always caught my eye,he was cute!! n then in 7th grade we became good friends and he was one of my locker buddies :-d!! anyways the year went by really fast n it was a funn year because me and him got close and i asked him out but he said no n he just wanted to be friends..i got a little upset b.c it really seemed like he liked me but anyhow this year we don't have any classes together but we still hang out n he flirts w. me alot like we have sports studyhall and we chill there until practice starts and me n him click very well together and i kept takin his hat n wudnt give it bak so he'd hold my hand n not let go... i really want to be more than friends w. him cuz he soo hott OMG lol yeah bomb diggity anyways how can i approach him? and how else should i flirt w. him then tryin to hold his hand...??

Well i would just be like will you go out with me? Because i really like you and you always flirt with me so i feel like you like me. And if he says no then ask him why he flirts with you. And if you dont want to do that then i would just be REALLY good friends with him...thats what happened with me and my g/f..i just was there for her when she needed me to be and like she saw that we could work out together. my friend is still inlove with her ex who now has a new girlfriend and we all in job corp so we see eachother all day. She follows them around tries like hell to get them in-trouble and everything. How do i get her to stop. I have talk to her so many times and it NEVER works. But i need her because she is my friend and i'm pergnant now and i just need her with me, but i think she's going nuts. i'm always there for her it's just she's never there for me anymore.

Ok..well just go up and be like we need to talk! And just tell her that you need her right now. And that she needs to try and help you out a lil and quit being so head over heels for this guy that has a girlfreind. And if she doesnt listen then she isnt as great a friend as you thought.

Anyway, there's a few guys in my school who i talk to and we're regular friends. But, they sometimes say things to me and i dont know how to respond. They say likie, "hey can I get with you?" Well just joke around back. I have girls do this all the time. Like get close to mea dn like touch me. I just play along and they usually just laugh....both of us know were flirting but we make it look like were just joking.

Yeah if you do them really fast and everthing and sweat alot then yeah you could....but if you just do a few a day then they will give you a muscular stomach.

I'm playing a character in play where i have to keep a straight face while someone sings to me in German... does anyone have any advice on how to keep a straight face and not laugh or giggle during the performance?

Well when i try and not to laugh i just bite my cheek. This way that it hurts so i dont feel like laughing. I dont really know anything else because this has always worked for me. Hoped i help.

k well i play feild hockey, and during the game one of our team members went missing...we were looking several hours after the game. know one knows wheere she went. we were both playing on the feild and then it was half time and she was gone. her father was there and didnt know where she went either. one moment she was on the feild then she was gone? im really scared and nervouse for her.....wht do i do!

Wow! This could be a number of things. One it could be like a kidnapping. Two she could have ran away. If you think that its either you should talk to her parents about it! If she doesn't show up within like a day you should go directly to the police. If it is kidnapping she could be raped, tortured, or even dead. Please tell the police for her safety and any chance that she might have of being found.

I'm 16 and my boyfriend is 17. We've been together for 16 months and i truly believe that we are madly in love. I somewhat believe he is the one for me. He's a senior and will be graduating this year, I'm only a junior. I'm really scared of whats going to happen when he graduates. I've seen movies and shows where the couple breaks up because the one goes to college and never sees each other or whatever the deal is. He's not sure where he is going yet but i really hope it all works out. he mentioned something before like "if we're still going out next summer before i go away to college, i'll propose." It's scary how i feel like i could run away and get married with him right now. what do u think about this situation?

Yeah there are movies out there like that! And sometimes that happens...but if you two love each other enough it will work out..If you are truly meant to be..Love can conquer anything! And if you scared about the college thing then ask him if maybe he could wait a year and go to college when you are out of school. That way you can move wherever hes going to college to and you'll still be together. Yeah at times the future can seem very scary...But don't give up and remind him every day that you love him and show him compassion and stuff and you'll both realize that you should be together and hopefully get married! I hope things work out for you!

Well I think that you should tell your soon to be boyfreind...I mean the police could get involved...and his grandma is probably stressing out and really scared.

Acne is alot of pimples and stuff at one time and pimples and zits you get one at a time...or two at a time...the point is you dont get a lot of them!

There isn't really a set age. Your body will start changing when it is ready to! You should start seeing that some time soon though! The normal range for puberty to kick in is 13-16!

Rednecks are the same as everyone else!! They just like to wear tight jeans, cowboy boots, belts with big buckles,and cowboy hats! There is a HUGE difference between hillbilly and redneck! Rednecks just work on farms and have cows! Hillbillys live out in the woods and dont really like to socialize! Most arent racist! They do not eat crap from under logs either!! They just like a different style of clothing and work on farms thats all! They are quite civilized!
