hi, you answered my question about losing weight, but i was wondering.. is it green tea from like the little packets? & can i add like lemon in it or anything or no? is it just the green tea?

thanks! :) (link)
You can use green tea from tea bags or you can use loose green tea. If you use other kinds of tea instead it may not work. I like Lipton's Green Tea because it's not as bitter as others. And yes you can use lemon; you can even use artificial sweetener, although I'd suggest Splenda rather than anything with aspartame in it (aspartame slows down your metabolism so you actually gain weight). Good luck in your efforts...I will be thinking of you.

How hard is it to potty train a siberian huskey? How do I train them? btw im 13/F. Ive trained my chihauhauh to stand on his hind legs and spin on command and to sit on hand command and also to hop and walk on hind legs. So how hard would it be for me to train a siberian huskey? (puppy)
Oh, and do u think renesemee (RA-nez-za-may) is a good name for a girl puppy? (link)
Siberian Huskies are smart dogs and respond well to training. If you've trained a chihuahua, you can train a husky. And the name Renesemee is as good a name as any other for a girl puppy. I named one of my cats after a Ukrainian tea...if you like the name and can get the dog to respond to it, it's perfect.

Ice and ice water are a good start, but try to make sure she has shade, too.

We have a 9 week old Maine Coon kitten. He seems healthy (eating well, playful, etc.) but should I take him to a vet just for a check up? Are there any shots that he needs? Are there any good websites to find this kind of information on for future reference? (link)
Your kitten is probably fine, and congratulations on getting a Maine Coon...they're great cats. A first checkup is important for a number of reasons, including deworming, first shots, etc... This first checkup should probably be done at between 8 and 10 weeks. Don't forget...the rabies shot given at this time will need to be followed up at a prescribed time with a booster shot. I don't know about good websites, though I know that there are a number out there. Your best bet is a quick phone call to a few vets and compare answers. That's what I did with my cats, and it worked out fine.

This is a really weird question, but...
My cat is a little over a year old, and I adopted her at 11 weeks. She's been litter-trained, and has never missed, never had a problem with it. I clean her litter box every day, and nothing has changed.
I woke up this morning to the sound of her scratching at something, and walked into my bathroom to find a few little...presents...in my tub. I cleaned it up, put them in the toilet, and showed her.
This sounds odd, but she's really, really smart. I can only assume she figured out that the bathroom is where I do my business and she tried to do the same thing.
Does anyone have any experience potty-training cats? Or any ideas?
Thanks! (link)
It's not as weird a question as it seems. If this isn't a stress response to changes in the cat's life, it is possible to potty-train a cat. It's really inconvenient at first though. First, move her litter box into the bathroom for a couple of weeks. Then, and this is the inconvenient part, place saran wrap across the opening of the toilet and put the seat down. Then sprinke some litter from her litter box onto the saran wrap. You have to use a lot of saran wrap (plastic wrap) and use the heavy duty, and duct tape it to the toilet so it doesn't just fall into the bowl when your cat steps on it. The problem is, you have to dismantle this everytime you go to the bathroom, and your cat might be one of those that never learns to flush the toilet....which might be a good thing, because there's very little more annoying than being woken up at three in the morning by a cat flushing the toilet to watch the water go down. Sorry I don't know more about it. I considered it as a novelty, but never actually did it. Good luck.

my cat has been having muscle spasiums what do I do?
(link)
I'd see a vet...some vets will give advice over the phone for free, or there's a number of sites that offer veterinary advice for free. If there severe and occur a couple of times a day or more, an in-person visit with a vet is a must.

my cat ran away and im extreamly upset about it have any advice, to sorta get over it ?? (link)
Trying to find it would be a good place to start. I don't know if they still do this, but you could phone your local radio station and see if they could make a lost pet announcement free of charge. Some used to do that, and sometimes it helps.

I'm not sure if cats are naturally friendly with humans, or is it that they just believe we're other cats as well? Possibly their foster mother? (I have a cat who was a foster mother to one of my kittens who is now grown.)

I once read in a book saying they believed we were just bigger odd-looking cats. I found that interesting, because my kitten treats me as if I were his mother. He comes to me for comfort and puts his paw on my face when I hold him (: (link)
One of my cats used to try to nurse off my arms so I think you may be right. I have to wear long sleeved shirts in the middle of summer because I had little hickeys all up and down my arms. (He did it while I was sleeping).

I have 3 long haired cats. They shed evvverywhere. I am trying to clean my blankets..especially the fleece ones because they are covered in hair...is there any trick to getting rid of all the hair...or at least most of it? (link)
I've tried packing tape rolled around my hand, fine toothed combs, and about 50 other ideas, and the one I've found works best is a rubber brush. You can buy them at pet supply stores, or in the pet aisles of some grocery stores. If you can, you just machine wash your blanket, and while it's still wet, brush the hair out. Look for one with a straight edge on one side of the bristles, It helps.

My boyfriend is thinking about getting another dog, and if it's a female, and him and I were thinking about the name Sasha.

Sasha was also the name of my cat who died a few years ago. My mother says it's bad luck to name animals after another but I think it's sort of an honor, and I love the name. Is it heartless to do that? (link)
I think it's an honour as well. I had 5 cats, one after the other, named Jodi when I was little. If you want to name your new (soon) dog Sasha, I think it's a sweet idea.

Hey, my names Jessica I'm 15 and I'm a sophmore in highschool. We have a lot of clubs, but I'm not intrested in any. I want to start one for Breast Cancer Awareness. Its basically to support people with breast cancer and to raise money for them. Does anyone have any ideas to raise money and to get people to join the club? Also, what do I tell the activities director so she can aprove of this ? Thank you in advance (: (link)
Avon, a company that is also interested in Breast Cancer research and awareness, is coming out with a fundraiser idea this fall. Your avon lady could tell you more, or you could go to the website Avon.ca. It's worth a look.

umm hi the other day i came home from work and found puke all over the floor when i was cleaning up i found that there was a little bit of blood in with the puke but it also looks like it could be liquid poo....anyways i just changed her food to ultra from nutrience what could this be and how can i fix it ? (link)
I'd take the dog to the vet.

My mom won't let us get a dog because she thinks were not responsible and she's alerigic so how do we get both? (link)
Ask your mother about an American Eskimo (they have hair, not fur, and are good for people who are allergic to dogs). Other than that, you could start doing chores around the house regularly without being asked and prove to her that you are responsible.

i have had my puppy dolphin for 5 years and she has made me itch only sometimes when she licks me but i figured it was just from eating grass outside. then i went on vacation for 4 days, come back, and she doesnt lick me but i still itch. she just sat in my lap and i got all red and blotchy! i am not allergic to dogs and there is no reason why i should be itchy! what the heck is the problem? (link)
People can develop allergies at any stage in their life. It might be a good idea to get allergy tests done to be sure.

I have an elder cat, who we've had for as long as i can remember. one of my kittens, who's a couple years old now (not so much a kitten ) was born around this older cat and absolutely adores him. he purrs and rubs himself against him. will he get depressed when my older cat passes on? how can i help him feel better when he does? (link)
Yes, he will get depressed, and it may last a couple of weeks to over a month. I went through something similar recently. Make sure you keep a favourite toy of the older cat's around, and try not to change anything too much. Unfortuneately, like people, they have to go through the grief, and may be withdrawn or walk around crying for a while. Eventually they get used to the "new normal" and you may find that his behaviour has changed in some ways. It does also help if you have a younger kitten before the older cat passes on. It sounds as though you have at least one other cat, so that's good. Animals need animal companionship, as well as human. When he wants affection, give him lots, and when he wants to be alone, let him be. He'll get over it in time. My two are now the happiest cats in the world, and their grieving took over a month. I really hope this helps you and your cats when the time comes.

I love this dress, and I'm going to purchase it for prom next year altough I have small breasts about a 32 B so it might look rather awkward. How do i give the appearance of cleavage while wearing this dress?? (link)
You could go with a good push-up bra to give you some cleavage, or there's something called a gel bra, or water bra to add size. Personally, I'd go with the push-up bra so it wouldn't be obvious I was using something.

17/f

so i shave my arm using the epilator, its a little machines that tweases hair.. so i use that to remove my underarm hair. its great and it works!
the problem is, all my friends have nice underarms, as strange as that sounds.. they dont have any pimple scars or brown or pink spots.. its all clear and clean. how come i dont have an underarm like that? mine has some bumps, and sometimes they have pus in them. its disgusting! please help me! im freaking out!!! lol.

thanks! (link)
I know exactly how you feel. I've had the same problem. First, remember that nobody's perfect. Then go out and buy a product called Bikini Zone. It has AHA in it that prevents the bumps in the first place. Then, if you really can't stand the appearance of your underarm skin, look for something that fades scars, like Bio Oil. It's not an overnight fix, but it really will help. Oh, and don't squeeze them! It makes the scarring worse!

I want to lose 10 pounds by august 27. If I drink lots of water walk 4 miles and eat very healthy do you think can? Any other good wAys to lose weight??? (link)
If you drink green tea with every meal, don't eat for 4 hours before going to bed, eat something with protein in it right when you get up in the morning (at least within 20 minutes), and snack on fruit instead of starchy things, it should help. Plus it's pretty healthy.

HEYYY does anyone know a good product to put in your hair before you straighten it? Doesn't matter the cost, just something that works. Something that's been proven to work by you or someone else would be really great. Thanks guyss :) :) (link)
I believe what you're looking for is a pre-style conditioner or treatment. My husband doesn't use one, but he likes the mark. products for straightening hair (they're available through Avon). He uses a product called Salon Straight No Iron Smoothing Fluid. If your hair isn't really coarse and curly, it might work for you. It's about $7.00. Hope that helps. I like curly hair myself and love their Curl Goddess line as well.

i was talking to a friend and she said i wasnt exciting.
it kinda really hurt my feelings.
cuz when im texting i guess im boring.
i was perfectly content with my life.
but now it like all changes. :/
any ways to be more exciting? (link)
I know it hurts when someone tells you you're not exciting, but you have to remember that exciting means something different to everyone. You really should not let this get you down. People will say hurtful things to you the rest of your life, and if you pay attention to them all, life will get pretty hard. Just because your friend was having a bad day or moment doesn't mean that what was said is true.

If you really want to be more exciting, I'm probably not the person to tell you how, but I do think that if you're talking about something you care about, then you will be excited and that leads to exciting. Good luck, dear.

~ I'm planning on getting a belly button piercing so I've asked my friends for references and have been calling around. Some people had some wierd advice though. One person said you shouldn't use barbels when you're still healing, someone else said you shouldn't use gold, but I'm allergic to most metals especially if they're in a piercing so I want to use gold. So, other than AIDS what are some risks/tips/tricks that I should be aware of? (link)
Some people who are allergic to metals find that surgical steel is their best bet, while others prefer gold or silver. All three of these would hopefully be okay for you, but I'm not a doctor, just someone who likes jewellry. Most piercing places offer surgical steel, but some will offer silver or gold or all three. For cost efficiency I would go for surgical steel. You're less likely to have a reaction to it, and it costs a lot less than gold right now. Surgical steel is as pure as they can make it, and people who are allergic to metals are usually allergic to the impurities.
