cat hair...gross!

Question Posted Monday July 27 2009, 10:59 pm

I have 3 long haired cats. They shed evvverywhere. I am trying to clean my blankets..especially the fleece ones because they are covered in hair...is there any trick to getting rid of all the hair...or at least most of it?

I've tried packing tape rolled around my hand, fine toothed combs, and about 50 other ideas, and the one I've found works best is a rubber brush. You can buy them at pet supply stores, or in the pet aisles of some grocery stores. If you can, you just machine wash your blanket, and while it's still wet, brush the hair out. Look for one with a straight edge on one side of the bristles, It helps.

Well,
I would get those lint rollers and those should help. I use those for my cat.
Good Luck, hope I helped!

I have three cats, too, and we use lint rollers.

That won't get rid of all of it, but it will get rid of a lot.

Get a comb that takes out the undercoat of the fur, because it helps with how much hair is shed.

We have the Ferminator. I don't know if it's in your budget, but I'm sure there's a cheap knock-off of it at Wal-Mart or some other store.
