I've seen a lot of questions about emo's on this site, but what exactly is this? I don't think it's an expression we use in the UK. Thanks.

emo is short for emotional and what that type of person is they're like always depressed and mostly loners and they like cut themselves and things like that.

Q: my skin is REALLY oily.. i wash it morning and night with cetaphil but i always feel like i have to wash my face in the middle of the day cuz my skin gets sooo oily but then im afraid if i wash it too much itll dry it out. anybody know any good products to control oil?

second, im not sure if its cus of my oily skin but i get a lot of breakouts. and ive tried so many products but none of them seem to get rid of them. any ideas?

Yeah oily skin causes breakouts. You can wash your face 3 times a day at most. So if you feel like you need to wash your face in the middle of the day you can. Try using astrigent, i have oily skin too and it works for me!

Q: This kid, jacob, is practically best friends with this guy named mark. Yesterday, at the end of one of my classes, they both got up after everyone else left and mark stopped behind my desk and stuck his hand in his pocket. (They sit next to each other so I guess it was a note they were passing, right?)jacob freaked out and yelled no about a million times and mark listened to him and they left. Today about everyone was out of that same class and jacob and mark had both gotten up and walked out of the door arguing. Mark was like, "come ON! do it!" or something like that. then jacob was like, "dude no!!!!!!" and they stopped near my desk and kept arguing except I couldn't hear them. But, then jacob just walked quickly out the door and yelled back to mark, "thats sick!" or "they're sick!" I can't remember which one of those it was that he said. With the note AND the convo what do you think both of those were about?!

Well maybe Mark was trying to give you a note that Jacob wrote asking you out or something but he's like chickening out because he doesn't want to get turned down. that's what it sounds like to me. anyway, i hope i helped, haha i'm sick means well in guy language it means something's cool or awesome, yeah they truly are weird, but ya can't live without 'em ;)

Q: is spaying and neutering a pet wrong?

absoulutly not. I mean, if you don't it's possible you're bet could have babies and you may not have time to take care of all those other animals so no, it's not wrong. and if it were, they would have made it illegal

Q: I have no clue if this guy likes me. he's visiting my friend for a week. whenever we first met, he looked me up and down and then he smiled at me and him and his friend both exchanged looks and smiled at each other. everytime I go over to my friends house he goes, "OH! CARRIE'S BACK!" and smiles. he said this to me today...are you polish? you have a nice polish look about you." but I guess that's a complimentthen him and his friend were trying to decide what my name should be and he said, "you look like a samantha. you have bigger..never mind. I wont say it." I still am not sure what was he talking about. everyone was splashing me with water from the pool after my hair had just been dyed and I didn't want it to change colors so I told them all to stop and they did. his friend was like, "get out and splash her or something!," and he just stared at him and after a minute he shook his head (like as in saying, "NO") and got out but all he did was smile at me and go back in. he's been flirting with me a lot lately and pretty much everything he says he is either trying to get me to laugh or saying something along the lines of, "you're(you're as in ME) hot." does he like me?

Ut ohh hehe, I think he does! Maybe you should ask your friend if he does, i mean he's stayin with him for a week so he's bond to know =] but, to me i sounds like he does. =]

Q: lately ive been drinking a lot of extra water for some reason and started doing some abdominal excersises but now my stomach is a lot bigger then it usually is

Q: 14/f im really like this guy and he like me back alot but hes really influenced by people. and i mean if you tell him to ask someone out.....he will probally do it. the reason why im not going out with him is because i want to be able to get him to ask me out by myself i dont want other people talking to him. hes went out with 2 girls but he didnt even like him, he went out with them because all of their little friends asked him to go out with them because they cant do it themselves. he promises me he wont listen to other people and he will listen to himself but i dont know ... should i just give up or keep trying?

Well, first, ask yourself if you still want to. yeah thats gay i know. but anyway, do you think he likes you because people told him to or because he really does? and if the answer is yes, then yeah keep likin him, and maybe try and talk to him about it or drop some hints. Well, for number 1, i think either she likes you as a friend or she thinks you're cute. Listen closely, this is important. Just because she thinks you're cute ((if that is the case)) that doesn't mean she likes you. I think my best guy friend is cute but i don't like him. Yeah I know, girls are weird. I hear it alot.

And for number 2, girls, naturally talk alot. They'll pretty much talk to anyone that'll listen, or even if they don't. So I don't think there is a way to know, unless she starts flirting alot and consistantly. So, no just because a girl talks to a guy alot doesn't mean she likes him. Well, it does make sense for a girl to talk to a guy. Girls want opinions from their friends and from a guy, to compare them.

2 years isnt bad, i say go for it.

Now for the IMing thing. Just start out the conversation with a simple hey or hello whichever appeals to you. and then just see how it goes, if him liking you comes up, dont go away or sign off, take a deep breath and try to chill out, because i know you'll get excited or butterflies, it's happened to me.

I think you should casually ask around from some of his friends. Just talk to them and casually bring up, "do you know who ((whatever his name is)) likes?" and if they say "idk" just be like, "oh ok, maybe you can find out for me?" or something along those lines!

Q: i have used tampons before. but they hurt SO bad when i take them out. most times. is this normal. like it feels like i am ripping skin or something. and there is a piece of skin that hangs around the end of the tampon which is what makes it hurt. is this normal. what is it.

use a smaller one, the one you're using now is too big. trust me i've done it before, i can relate!

Q: There is this boy that I like and I don't know if he likes me... He used to live across the street from me for like a year, and we used to play outside a lot but, then he moved and we talk on the computer and we talk on our cell phones a lot. And he had a girlfriend, but then my friend told him that I liked him and the next day he broke up with her. I think he does. He only says wrong IM to cover it up. Well, thats the impression I'm getting. Depending how outgoing/ proud you are, depends what way you'll ask him if he likes you back. Either, in person, like at the movies or wherever is the typical hangout for you guys, you can call him on the phone, ask him on the internet or get one of your friends that's friends with him to ask. Perferably a guy. Most guys wouldn't tell a girl that's friend with you ((no offense)) because he knows she'll tell you and he doesn't want to wound his pride. =] good luck!

Well, you've probably heard this a lot, but just talk to her about it. If you're to scared to do it in person, then just do it on instant messenger or write a letter or some way that isn't directly confronting her. The her exboyfriend, let's call him bob. Whenever Bob comes over today just try to be yourself, think of something other than him, i know it sounds kind of weird, but if you start to babble, just slow down and say what you're gonna say. And if your friend isnt ok with you liking Bob then just keep your feelings to yourself, write them down in a journal so you don't keep it inside and they come falling out at the wrong time! =] Good luck!

Q: There's this guy and me and him have been through a lot. We've known each other for about 4 years. We've gone out and gotten into a lot of fights. We made up and then I felt like he was using me. Like he would only call me when he was horny and wanted to have phone sex or for somehow me to turn him on. You might think I was stupid to even do it, but honestly I liked it bc it was w/ him. So I was talking to him the other day and he asked what's up and I'm like ugh bummed, some guy is using me. He kept asking who until I answered and finally I'm like you... I also so well at least that's how it makes me feel. Then of course the power goes out right after I said that so I had no idea what he was typing back to me. I went to a friends house that night and then I was talking to her on the phone a night later and he was online. I asked her to ask him to call me and he was really mean and was like no, I don't wanna talk to HER. Finally she got him to and he's like yeah but for only ONE minute. He calls me and I hang up, then I start to feel bad and call him back and he's like yeah what and then he makes up an excuse to get off the phone a sec later. So I hadn't talk to him since then which was like 4 nights ago. I called him yesterday and he was like what do u want? and I'm like umm nothing and he hung up. So I was stupid and called him back and was like why'd you hang up and he's like bc I DONT WANNA TALK TO YOU! I'm like ok well why are u so mad and when will you talk to me and he's like I don't know! Then hangs up and shit I said sorry. I called him back and was like come on! give me a break! and he's like God are you going to do this all night and keep calling me. I just wanna cry, I have the smalliest class ever and my "bestfriend" I won't go to for advice or comfort bc I don't want her getting involved and shit. I hate this boy and like him at the same time! I miss everything, everything we used to have and what happened last summer w/ him! I can't get over it! I don't know what to do! I have no one else!

Omg..he sounds meann. Well, I can sort of relate to you. I like one of my best friend but he didn't like me and started saying mean things but we finally worked it out. I would say try that but apparently that's not working for you. So, what I suggest is just don't talk to him. If he really wants you, he'll call you or IM you whenever he cools down. And after maybe a week or 2 if he doesn't contact you try and go to his house and talk to him. But for now be around people that love and respect you and do something FUN! Q: I have ben hurt many times by guys. Too many times! I always seem to fall for the wrong type, and I really mean the WRONG type! They all seem great at first but then the truth comes out. My ex-boyfriends have either been phycos, nymphos, mythomaniacs, cheaters or just plain assholes!! I have lost count on how many night I have fallen asleep crying! I thought I had given up on boyfriends and then my present boyfriend came along and seems really nice and all. Sure, he cheated on me once in the begining of out relationship but that's normal for me now, I guess that's just a thing that guys do so I have him a second chance.
So now we are together and I can't seem to be happy when I'm with him!! I'm just waiting for when he is going to hurt me and how he's going to do it!

When ever I try to picture our relationship in the furutre I see me crying over him because he hurt me really bad somehow....

Well, first I think you need to break up with him. Once a cheater always a cheater. And you deserve wayyyy better than cheaters and pychos! I think you need a break from boys, so i think you should go do something with your best girl frined(s) just to forget about everything and get that fun loving girl back!
