Is there any way I can listen to my iPod touch in my car. I know there is a cassette adapter, but my car doesn't have a cassette player. I have a 96 Volkswagon, if that helps. And I'm looking for something cheap. No more than 50 dollars. Thank you :) (link)

Cigarette outlet adapters are made just like the cassette adapters and work just as well!

im on vacation after losing about 15 pounds and im really stressing about gaining the weight back. im currently in cali for the week. usually at home i run every day but here i have only run twice out of the 5 days ive been here. i try to do some ab work and pushups in the evenings but i still dont feel like im getting a workout in. im busy allk day at the beach and stuff so thats why i havnt been working out very much. pretty much all my meals have been food from restaurants and such. ive done all my research in advance and know what healthy low cal options there are at these food places. im not eating any more then 2000 calories a day and usually am only eating about 1000. my technical daily caloric intake for my height and weight is 2400. i eat more calories at home. my question to you is A. do you think that i will gain a significant amount of weight while on my week long vacation because i am not working out as much. and B. could i still gain weight because im eating restaurant and fast food even though i am not eating too many calories and am really looking for the healthy things on the menu.
i just dont want to go home from vacation and people to notice that i gained weight. (link)

I highly doubt you'll gain noticeable weight. I was just on a 2 week vacation on a place where the only fresh vegetable choice at restaurants was coal slaw :P I usually run everyday also but got out of the habit while away. Instead I hiked mountains and am still in shape. Make sure you do some kind of exercising. I know its hard to get motivated but you'll feel better about yourself :)

its too hot to run outside, but i train for cross country . what swimming exercises can i do to build up my endurance? i try to run 2.5 - 3 miles everyday but i havent the last 3 days AT ALL cause its just too hot. (link)

I have the same exact problem. It's been like 100 here all week and I really need to train. Try early morning runs followed by a cold shower. Swimming wse I don't really know what you can do but Try going to a gym maybe ad working on the treadmill in ac.

Running! If you in high school join track and cross country. I'm sure any sport helps but I got really toned and stay fit after track.

about a week ago, me and my boyfriend went to the lake. we same in it for the two days we were there. when we came back home, a day after, he noticed some scabs on his feet. they were reaaaaallly tiny, barely noticeable. but they stayed, they never went away. i at first thought that he just scraped himself on some branches or something under the water. but after a few days, they were still there. i saw him the day before yesterday, and his foot still looked the same, but yesterday i noticed a big scab on his foot, up towards his pinky toe. he said he didnt remember scratching it or hitting it on anything, and it looked like the scab has been there for a few days. i didnt think much about it, but then that night he seemed to be running a little bit of a fever. he was hot, and sweating. and he said his head hurt. i gave him 3 ibuprofin, to break the fever and help his head. later that night when we were sleeping, i reached over and felt his head. he was still sweating, but his head was cold. i know it sounds stupid, but i'm worried that while we were at the lake, some kid of parasite(sp?) got into his system. maybe he swallowed some water or something, and he's getting sick. i'm really worried. any answers will be very helpful. Wow, sounds horrible. Try calling his doctor just for advice if you don't want to make and appointment. Google foot rashes and stuff also.

Ok I'm really close with this guy let's him Sam. We met sophomore year in high school,I hated him a first and then i liked him. Then like me and him just became best friend and we talked about everything and i love him so much but never ever told him,so he gets a girlfriend senior year lets call her anna. Of course shes the captain of the cheerleaidng squad and the two of them share the love of country music. But this girl is totally bipolar and always wants sam's attentiona all the time and shes is insanely jealous. He talks to me all the time about her and its driving crazy. summer comes and still dating and cant take anymore so i left to europe for three weeks i come back and they break up. He needs me more than ever but I cant deal with his feelings when i cant even handle my own. I dont know what to do, should i take this chance and tell hiim or shut up about it. Where going to college together and if i dont say it now i never will, but are my feelings really worth losing a three year friendship?? he left for vermont yesterday and i miss him so much already WHAT SHOULD I DO???? sorry about it being so long HELP!! There is this sergent Teacher at my school. (He's from the military) In the dream, I am in his office with: Him, my brother, my brother's wife, and a girl I like. (just sitting down) We talk. My brother & I look at eachother in suspicion, like(Somethings not right) we convince The sargent to let the girls leave. while they leave I tell her I'll see her later. I had a feeling that I wouldn't see her. Then I spot some hidden torture devices. I try ro run out & he grabs me. Then my brother attacks him, & i run & get help. he gets arrested & i feel a big relief (Plus, I really like the girl that left with my brother's wife) In beginning of dream, he attempts to hurt me several times but I get away. Hmmmmm, I highly doubt it. First, all new teachers are screened carefully before getting a job so it'd be easy to see if he was a nut case. Secondly how would he get torture devices? I have a lot of odd dreams too, maybe you were just thinking about all the people in the dream before you went to bed. Or maybe you watched a violent movie before bed.

I am a 17 year old girl and i am interested in a younger boy, he is 14. Believe me, i know it sounds bad but if you knew how he treated me, you might understand. The thing is i will be 18 in the month of may, and he will only be 15 in October. Also, it's weird to think, my brother is 12 and the boy i'm interested in is 14. He acts very mature for his age, even with his friends!... and looks like he is 17 or 18. One person that I've talked to about it said he might be infatuated by a pretty older girl that has come his way. Honestly, if that were true, he might have just made a move on me already and he hasn't. My mother mentioned that it's illegal when i turn 18 and if i pissed off anyone in the family, they could turn it into a legal manner, and i could go to jail. I know its different, when the age range is 16-19 but does the age difference really matter in this case, or should I leave it be, since i'm finally happy? PLEASE HELP. (link)

about 3 months ago, i was diagnosed with leaukemia=[. the doctor told me that i am gonna die after my 8th month. is he allowed to tell me this? he just flat out said... " in about 8 months your gonna die ", he made me my mom my dad and my brother cry. so anyways.... can he tell me this... and can i like sue him for it?

Female/18. Sorry if this is long. So i transfered to a new school my junior yr and now its toward the end of my senior yr. Just yesterday one of my friends told me that this girl in our class said that i was obsessed with myself and always looking at myself! And that its annoying.And so i asked this girl that said it and she said that other ppl say it too! ): that made me kinda sad. i usually just go to the bathroom 2 times a day to check my makeup throughout school. 1st, I am a girl and care how i look. 2nd, i have bad self esteem and worry what what i look like so i just like checking that my hair isnt up in the hair or my makeup isnt smeared down my face, because thats happened before and no one has told me! so i worry about that as well! ugh..now im worried n dont wanna go back to school. first off ppl dont know me, so i wish they wouldnt talk like that. but what should i do? i was better off not knowing, but do you have any advice?? it would be really nice!
p.s. lets just say i only have till May and i am done with fricken high school drama!

wow, it'll be hard to explain why you've been checking his private mail, he'll say you don't trust him. I'd say that his behavior is totally inappropriate and if you ever see him on the computer doing it say something.

Don't worry! I've never tried to put one in but it can be hard if your a virgin because some skin called the hemen covers the vagina. Maybe thats why your having trouble? Use a mirror or ask your mom.

I'm fifteen, so is he. I think he's really cute. I'm hearing he's a huge druggie. He smoked and drank and everything. Now, we haven't talked yet and I'm not planning to until I know for sure he stopped all his drugs. I will not sink so low as to go out with a drug addict. I think he could be a really cool guy, I see him outside of school with his friends, all of them are smoking except him so that's a good sign but I don't want our first conversation to be "so, are you still a druggie? ok, cya." Don't say "get to know him first then work your way up to asking him" because I feel no matter how long we've been talking that question will always be awkward. Also don't say "ask one of his friends" because alllllllllllll of his friends smoke and I don't know any of them. Sorry if it's difficult to answer because I probably eliminated the top answers for my question. I just want to know how do I find out if he's still doing drugs before I start to like him more? I have a similar issue but you have to realize that knowing someone first does help, even if you don't want to do that. Looks aren't everything and the rumors you hear are most likely true.

the other day i was beat by my dad so bad im 16 and a guy but i can't stand up to him. he punched me in the nose once an threatened to kill me so i took a shotgun an put it to his head an told him to back the f*** off. i thought i made the point clear to him but the next day he had iron knuckles with him an nailed me in the forehead. im lucky i barely felt it i guess over the years ive become almost immune to pain. but i dont know what to do to have him stop without cops or foster care getttin involved i luv him to much even tho he busted my lip and my forehead open. luckily im ok i dont feel dazed or nothin from the hit. im lucky i moved backwards with the punch so it didnt get me bad just a lil blood. but if i hadnt moved i could probly be dead rite now........... any advice would be helpful............ but toher than my dad i have a goood good life an grl im a QB for my highskool and i make straight A's.... i need sum help plz (link)

I feel for you but you must realize parents aren't suppose to act like that. Talking to your dad probably wouldn't work. So talk to someone else. Call a help hotline. Don't take any more bs from him, even if you love him.

My life has hit rock bottom. I have no hope left for myself. This year has been one of the worst years I have faced in the 20 years of my life. My college grades are anything but good. My dog passed away last month. My boyfriend of 8 months who I love, is hurt because i lied to him that i was a virgin. He won't even talk to me properly. I have absolutely no friends who I can talk to about anything. I want to end my life. I just cant continue living in pain each day with no one around to take care of me or just hold me and say that "It's gonna be okay". I try to optimistic but I'm just too lonely. What do I do? (link)

Never ever give up. Your life is like valleys and mountains, and I'm sure you've heard that cliche before but its true. Things always get brighter. Maybe a visit to see your parents would improve things? Find a new hobby. Join a hiking group. Get outdoors and connect with whatever you find calming. Meditation helps me, even if I don't shut down totally, just being in a peaceful outdoor spot gives me a new outlook on life. All bad things resolve. Your problems will change. Imagine yourself 20 yrs. from now. Will you have a family? A job? A new dog? Don't consider suicide. People do care about you. No matter what you think.

today was cold and i didnt have a jacket..i guess i looked frozen during lunch because my best friend(guy) walked up to me,kissed me on the cheek,draped his jacket over my arms,said \"here looks like u need this\" gave me my favorite smile and walked away.i thought it was really sweet so later i saw him and he looked cold so i walked up to him, kissed him on the cheek, said \"thanks but i think you need it now\" smiled and walked away..he ran after me and was like i can share this and gave me a hug....im not really sure if were goin out or not because usually people dont kiss people unless their goin out so..any ideas whats happining???
