hey i have a problem w/ my friend..okay so she gets online n i start talking to her and she always ALWAYS has to give sum rude remark about me being "fat" or something like that. I mean this is all the time! And we like always joke about stuff like that to e/o but lately shes bin annoying me w/ it and saying stuff too frequently. And i hardly ever say ne thing to her about that stuff unless she says something bout me first! N well i told her that i was tired of it and her reply was that im dumb for bringing it up now bc we always do it. I told her that i wanted it to stop tho but all she did was get mad n now wer not talkin. And we both kno that neither of us r fat! we're quite skinny to tell u the truth lol..but its always being said n i just cant stand it ne more but now shes mad at me n idk what to do! Help plz! Next time she trys telling you your fat just ignore her or tell her straight up you want her to stop b/c it really bothers you and if she says your being dumb about it tell her your just telling her how you feel. She might say your being dumb b/c you might embarass her a little when you confront her about it. Silly jokes like that arent worth not talking though. You should probably jsut try to blow it off next time she says something like that though, I know it will be hard but try anyway. Hopefully I help ya out a little bit

Tell her straight up how you feel and what shes doing.You could try telling some of her friends to watch her. She might get defensive about it though. good luck

Have you tried talking about it? I think you should if you haven't. Theres a thin line between being obnoxious and funny. Next time she does something stupid tell her she's being annoying and you want her to stop and she what she has to say about it.

Whoa a penis? Why would she think that? Try talking to her about it if you haven't already and see hwat she has to say. You could always try leaving her alone for a while untill she realizes that shes not the only important person out there.

Ask her what she wants. Your her friend you should know what all she is into. Alot of stores have really good sales on clothes you could get her an outfit or two. Or you could get her stuff from Bath and Body Works(thats always nice). Or get her a certificate for the mall.

It's always hard loosing touch with a friend. Call her up some time and tell her how you feel or tell her to her face. Chances are she isn't going to stop. But EVENTUALLY she'll hoprfully realize that the "popular" people aren't going to mean anything to you once your out of school.

Hey, lat night my friend was suppost to sleep over but then at the last minute she couldn't so she said that we would hang out tomorrow, which is today. Then she told me that she was going out to lunch wit her bf so i was like o i thought that we were hanging out today and she is like ya we still are..when i get bak from lunch. She hadn't told me that she was going out with him because we had made the plan before she made the plan to go out with her boyfriend. I don't think you should make a big fuss about it. Yeah it was wrong of her to make plans with you and kind of blow you off, but it is her boyfriend and maybe she just wanted to spend some time with him. Try making plans agian and see what happens. If she blows off agian then just stop making plans with her untill she learns that it is some what ignorant.

I have a wonderful best friend, I mean she's everything a best friend could ever be. Usually on Fridays me and her always go and hang out. It's not just us though its a bunch of guys too. I dont have a problem with these guys but its just every one of them have seen my best friend naked! She sends naked pictures (fully naked, EVERYTHING showing) to ALL of her guy friends, she flashes guys all the time, and it makes me kind of awkward. I mean I dont want to say it but its kind of slutty. All these guys love her now and it makes me feel kind of awkward because none of them really CARE about me. I mean they talk to me but they dont CARE (you can tell...they dont talk to me online or anything, I've tried talking they just talk and just say yeah and ok to everything. they talk to me in person though). Well I want attention from guys and for guys to like me but I dont want to be like my best friend and do the naked stuff she does. They dont want to see me naked anyway they all like her. Help!

Wow, I would deffenitly have a talk with her. I mean yeah guys might think it's cool and everything but so they really know the real her? You should try to get guys attention by just trying to be yourself.But I know exactly how you feel. Maybe she's doing it because she doesn't get enough attention from other people. Like at home or in school or something. I'd just try to talk to her about it saying how it makes you feel akward and you would apriciate it if she'd stop. But who knows maybe it's just a phase and she'll grow out of it.

ok so here it goes tomarrow, friday people were planning a birthday party for this girl catherine and everyone was talking about it since monday well everyone but like 4 people in our grade was invited i was one of the four. Well today at brunch carla a senior, asked me and another girl to go on friday . well i wanted to go until i thought about it and since its a new school for me i wasnt sure if other people wanted me to go since they didnt ask me to go until the a day before(today). so should i go or not i dont want people to be like who invited HER and i have no other people to go/hangout with but i want to go casue carla asked me and she is really nice for asking me

Deff. go! It's a great way to make new friends. And if some ones going to make a big deal out of it just remember there not worth your time AT ALL and just avoid them b/c there probably just going to start drama. But yes you should go and have fun!

My friends and I have been in this fight for like a long time. And we havn't really gotton over it. And its not just any kind of group. Its the popular group and we ALL know how that is. There are rumors flying everywhere and I want to be nice to them because most of them arn't really mad at me. Only if I hang out with my friend who 'was' in that group. I have done everything! Anyone have any suggestions without being rude to any of my friends? Or is it just totally HOPELESS

Well we all know how people can be. If some one is going to make up rumors about you then they aren't really worth your time. Try not to dwell on it and what ever there pist off about they'll get over. Try to talk to them abo utit and see how it goes. And still try to keep in touch with the ones that you like and like you back. B/c there the ones that are your true friends. Good Luck

MY BEST FRIEND has turned into a real jerk. Me and him loved each other and he just turned me away. He tried to kill himself and that really got me worked up and i guess i said a few things i sholdn't have but i miss him and he's sending me these e-mails that r insulting me and saying he's glas i'm out of his life. When some one trys to kill themself the best thing you can do is be there for him. I can understand why youd say something you shouldnt of but you should always be there for him. Talk to him about it to his face. And he most still care about you if he's going to go out of his way to e-mail you. Theres nothing that you can really do about it untill you confront him about all this. Good Luck

I had a friend named Cherry since I was in kindergarten. About a year ago my cat died and she said "Oh well, now you can get a new one." (I was very close to this cat) Well, my mom said that no one close to her had ever died and she didn't understand but I didn't listen. About fou months later I caught her talking about me bahind my back saying I needed to go one a diet. I admit that I guess I do but it was still hurtful. My friend Guari tried to stick up for me by calling Cherry a prep and saying some bad things about her. Then I got mad when she insultes Guari and we got into a big fight and I stopped talking to her for almost a year now because 1. She was a prep and Guari convinced me all preps are evil (not true) 2. She was rude about my cat (she didnt understand) and 3. she talked about me behind my back (we all do it)
Now I want to apologize but I dont know if I can or should and I know after all those bad names we called each otehr and that big fight that lasted almost a month Guari will be mad and Im not good at admitting I was wrong. What should I do? (about apologizing and if I do about Gauri's reaction) I RATE! (link)

Having a friend since kindergareden obviously is something special and i think all 3 of you's should sit down and talk. Yeah her talking about you behind your back was wrong but maybe she didnt say ne thing and it was all hear say stuff. And about your cat she didnt understadn where you were coming from and if she did i doubt she'd react like that if you guys were goof friends. I think everyone owes every one an apology not just you. My friend always cuts himself on his wrists and throat n evrything.. i always try talking to him and he say's he'll stop.. but he keeps doing it and cutting himself more. You seriously need to tell some one. And you should tell him that when ever he has a problem that he can always come to you for help. I know some one who used to do stupid stuff like that for attention and maybe thats why he's doing it...maybe he jsut needs some one there for him....and maybe your that someone.

I just moved to a new school and I'm finding it really hard to make some friends (i'm in 9th). and it just gets really lonley on the weekends because I don't like do anything. And my friends from my old school, I don't talk to them anymore. I don't know if there is any advice you can give me (besides that whole join a sport because I am doing a sport in the spring) and join a club because I am already in some and they arent very helpful with meeting people. It's always hard to make friends in a new school. One way to get to know people is just my talking to them. Like in one of your classes just start talking to some one and if they seem intersted in you then ask them if they wanna go to the movies or something. In a way it seems kind of psycho but trust me you'll make some friends!

There was a kid in our school who was 14 and he died. Many Ppl knew him so our school has this big assembly, we didn't have to go to class for weeks, we didn't have to do any work or anything like that. 6 months after that when one of my Verry close friends died, it was like the teachers and schoolboard didn't even care. My mom told them my friend and i were upset that there was nothing for him..no assembly..and a ton of work. it wasnt fair.. They told my mom they weren't going to do anything because "nobody signed a sign we made" but 100's of kids signed it! its bullshit! and its not fair.. what can i say to the school people to make them at least have an optinal assembly! Im sorry you had to go through having one of your friends passing away. But if your schools going to have assemblies and everything for one person then they should for another. You and a bunch of your friends should go to your principle and say something about it. Be heard. And DON'T take no for an answer.

I'm sorry if this is a little long...
There are three of us, me and my two friends that I'm going to call Keri and Amber.
The last few months Keri and Amber always are partners with each other for everything and leave me out, they never wait for me, and then always ignore me in many of the classes we have together. I took half an hour to tell Kari how I felt about it on the phone last night and today Amber came up to me and asked me why I was mad at them. I got really angry because I spent half an hour explaining why I was upset, and then she says to only remembers half of it, and I started yelling at her, because it doesn't seem like she cares about how I feel.
My question is what should I do about it, and am I overracting about it?

Try talking about it with her agian. And its not like a good friend not to care. Maybe there going through something together and they dont thinkyou'll understand thats why there spending so much time together. You should have a sleep over or something like were all 3 of you's can hang out and talk.

Okay I am crying as I write this but I am a Advicenator and I need advice...
My Ex Boyfriend Sam and I went out for 9 months and the relationship went fine and the break up was mutual but lately all we seem to do is fight and the fights are usuaally his doing...weather he talks about his new intrest (I know she is not his girlfriend because I have friends that know more than Sam does) or talk about things that he KNOWS that will upset me and provoke me to hang up on him or cry. Please help me to get to have a better friendship with him and I still like him like I did when we went out.

Well from personal experiences I think you should keep trying. Try not to dwell on the things he does, he might be doing htem just to make you mad. Plus maybe he still has feelings for you. Maybe you and some of your friends should just go out and have a good time to get your mind off of things. You should also sit down and have a face to face talk with him, and if by chance you start crying in front of him don't sweat it b/c then he'll know how much you really care.
