Tell her exactly how you feel about it. Make sure you are alone with her though so she ins't distracted and can actually hear what you have to say.

It's always hard loosing touch with a friend. Call her up some time and tell her how you feel or tell her to her face. Chances are she isn't going to stop. But EVENTUALLY she'll hoprfully realize that the "popular" people aren't going to mean anything to you once your out of school.

You should tell her what is going on. Tell her that by her trying to be popular she is losing you as a friend. You need to tell her that you miss her.

You need to tell her what you just told me! Obviously, she doesn't know what she's doing, so you have to explain your feelings to her. She might even be feeling the same way (in some aspects). If shes a good friend, she'll try to spend more time with you and try and be a little bit more like she used to, and if she doesnt, then you two are probably going in separate directions. You might need to be friends with other people for a while, and then go back to being best friends after a break, b/c it might turn out that she'll miss you! Good luck and I hope you stay friends!
