13/f. I have this friend. We've been friends for two years already. Well, he's nice a lot. We make jokes and all. But other times he makes me upset. He talks badly about my friends. He also always comments on my profile on AIM. He tells me somehow how I'm wrong in what I put, or how it's dumb. He promises time and time again to keep my crushes a secret, but tells them anyway. Half of our grade finds out and soon enough I'm a laughing stock. I no longer tell him but sometimes when he's nice I do it anyway. In person he's got a really great personality. We used to date in 6th grade and he was the sweetest guy. When we broke up he talked about all the things I didn't do perfectly when we were going out. He makes me upset basically just online. i think you should just ignore the rude things he says online. delete them if you can. if its really bothering u and u cant handle it anymore, then just put in big bold letters that uve had enough and he needs to f*** off. hope i helped.

okay... I'm a fourteen year-old female in my freshman year of high school. I'm also an advicenator, but I suck at giving good rational advice to myself. Now here's the problem: I have trouble talking on the phone, even with friends, but especially with guys I like. I have lots of self confidence and I'm really talkative online and in person... but the phone? I will admit that since I've moved I've become more shy, but I've always had this phone issue. I know that often in conversations I use things around me and improvise... so it's harder on the phone. What should I talk about? Why am I *nervous*? its definently a challenge 2 talk on the fone and keep a good convo goin. just find something interesting thats goin on in ur house or ask him/her wuts goin on in their life. i usually have a lot 2 talk about because of recent situations at school. but i dont think it is nervousness, it is just lack of topics. think about fav's or weekend plans. hope i helped ya!

I have a friend,Megan which I have been practically sisters with my whole life. I've known her for 6 years and we basically grew up together. I also have this other friend,Kelsy, which I have known for about 4 or 5 years, and is also extremely close with me. Megan and Kelsy have also been close for years,too. Kelsy is starting not to like Megan anymore, due to a drunk night when Megan got with the guy that Kelsy liked. I know it was wrong, but I've known Megan for half my life and I can't just drop her like that. Kelsy might get mad if she knows that I still want to be friends with Megan, because everytime she says something about Megan, I always agree by saying I'm not talking to her anymore either. u should confront Kelsy first and say that u will still be friends with her and megan, but to remember that u are not megan and that she wuz drunk that night. u should also tell Kelsy that she should try to forgive Megan. Then u should confront Megan and tell her that she really hurt Kelsy and that she should apologize (if she hasnt already) try to get them 2 make up by goin someplace w/them, like the mall. talk about it w/them and if things get out of hand, then change the subject. thats hard 2 answer. it just depends on ur friends history. whenever u want 2 tell someone somethin private, ask urself if they have ever broken a promise or told a secret. if u answered yes 2 one of those questions then i would recommend not tellin them anything. dont wanna take a chance. hope i helped ya!

ur definently not jealous, just upset. if she has been so mean 2 u and u have been friends this whole time, then u have a reason 2 be upset. u should confront her about this and if she doesnt change, then u should seriously consider not bein her friend. she isnt worth the trouble. she has changed but so have u. believe me when i say it is hard 2 get over friends u have had 4 a long time. i had a friend that id known since pre k and she just stopped talkin 2 me 4 no reason and it wuz hard tryin not 2 be upset. hope i helped ya!

u need 2 be straight up w/him and tell him that u cant go 2 the dance and give him ur reason. it wouldnt be rude 2 tell him over the fone. just say hey look about the dance...if ur uncomfortable doin it in person, then dont do it in person. hope i helped ya!

im in 8th grade (13 / female) and well in my gym class this year i have like no one to talk to.. there's the popular girls that somehow have the same class together .. the unpopulars, the geeks, the preps, and some of the jocks, and then there's me .. i dont really fit in to any of those categories (i guess i`m just average) .. well heres the real problem i actually do have a friend in my class, lets call her Monica but she doesnt even look at me, I guess shes embarassed to be seen with me or something cuz the whole class long she hangs out with this girl lets call her Jessica. if monica is your friend, she should never be embarrassed 2 chill w/u. to be sure that this is the reason, heres wut u do. when she hangs w/jessica, go up 2 her and chill w/them. if she acts all embarrassed, then tell her and switch classes. u shouldnt have 2 fit into a category cuz u are an individual and it should always stay that way. hope i helped ya!

im 14/f nd im having pblms wit my best friend of 9 years, "trish". we r both in eighth grade nd in the same classes together.i recently had some problems with my sister whose on drugs moving back into the house and stirring up much trouble for my mom nd me. she moved out nd we are piecing our lives back together. anyways, this past june i got into a fight with some gurl at the movies and i got arrested. from then on, trish's mom has not trusted us together she wont let trish and i go anywhere together, the movies, football games, or the mall! trish told me that he mother thinks i will have a bad influence on her. I WONT. ive really straightened out my life and ive stopped getting into fights.
