im in 8th grade (13 / female) and well in my gym class this year i have like no one to talk to.. there's the popular girls that somehow have the same class together .. the unpopulars, the geeks, the preps, and some of the jocks, and then there's me .. i dont really fit in to any of those categories (i guess i`m just average) .. well heres the real problem i actually do have a friend in my class, lets call her Monica but she doesnt even look at me, I guess shes embarassed to be seen with me or something cuz the whole class long she hangs out with this girl lets call her Jessica. And well when they hang out together their like all BFF and they really kinda arent .. anyways should i tell Monica or not ( like she knows i want to switch classes but i never told her why) . .what should i do ?

Tell her you need to talk to her and explain everything. If she blows it off and pretends it never came up then she isn't a good friend. I'm sure you are very nice and will find another good friend.
KiLLeROnDaCourT answered Friday November 19 2004, 7:43 pm: if monica is your friend, she should never be embarrassed 2 chill w/u. to be sure that this is the reason, heres wut u do. when she hangs w/jessica, go up 2 her and chill w/them. if she acts all embarrassed, then tell her and switch classes. u shouldnt have 2 fit into a category cuz u are an individual and it should always stay that way. hope i helped ya! CaringBear answered Friday November 19 2004, 6:58 pm: It seems like Monica isn't a true friend if she is embarressed to be seen with you. You might want to find a new friend or a group of new friends. Or you can just tell Monica how you feel and if she's a true friend, she'll apologize and start hanging around with you again. If she can't decide what to do, ask if she can introduce you to Jessica and take things from there! Hope everything goes well!

Sherry answered Friday November 19 2004, 6:21 pm: Oh i know how you feel-I was lucky to have friends in gym this year. But last year was like that-I knew one person but she didnt really hang out with me. I would switch classes, seriously. You could try to make friends but switching classes is what I'd do.
