i just went to the doctor because i was having this problem at night where i cant do anything but breathe (kinda long story)and the doctors said i have someting called absence seizures or something and they said i have to get a "brain scan" or "mri" done..whats an MRI?? i heard that its a big black thing, and im really scared..i feel really uncomfortable with the problem to and i hate it... i dont wanna go to the hospital and stick my head into something...this is really bad, and im 14 and STILL somewhat frightened of the dark!! does anyone know anything to help me?? someone just please say something anything will help! thanks

Hi, I truly hope that you are feeling a little better.Im really sorry that at your tender age you have to go through such an awfull thing.You have to go through it ti be better.Believe me im almost 17 and im still frightened of the dark too. An mri is the use of a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer to produce electronic images of specific atoms and molecular structures in solids, especially human cells, tissues, and organs.please be strong and go through it you have support from your parents which im sure they are loving. Its a scary though but be strong.remember that you have a friend :) i'll pray for you.

There was a kid in our school who was 14 and he died. Many Ppl knew him so our school has this big assembly, we didn't have to go to class for weeks, we didn't have to do any work or anything like that. 6 months after that when one of my Verry close friends died, it was like the teachers and schoolboard didn't even care. My mom told them my friend and i were upset that there was nothing for him..no assembly..and a ton of work. it wasnt fair.. They told my mom they weren't going to do anything because "nobody signed a sign we made" but 100's of kids signed it! its bullshit! and its not fair.. what can i say to the school people to make them at least have an optinal assembly!

God people think schools are the best guide for young people but they also consist of 3 thing....s***,S***, and more SHIT!!! they are unfair and careless.Have more than 100 people to sign it and not to stop bugging or if not HEY! why not make one by your own in school have kids ditch!!!! goood luck!!!

hey sweetie i have a few freckles myself!! well first just make sure you get a good concealer try aqua smooth makeup by cover girl and just rub some where you have your freckles then get some foundation that leaves your face looking natural and even it out on your face so you wont just have chunks of makeup in one spot.hope i helped!!!!

im in 8th grade (13 / female) and well in my gym class this year i have like no one to talk to.. there's the popular girls that somehow have the same class together .. the unpopulars, the geeks, the preps, and some of the jocks, and then there's me .. i dont really fit in to any of those categories (i guess i`m just average) .. well heres the real problem i actually do have a friend in my class, lets call her Monica but she doesnt even look at me, I guess shes embarassed to be seen with me or something cuz the whole class long she hangs out with this girl lets call her Jessica. And well when they hang out together their like all BFF and they really kinda arent .. anyways should i tell Monica or not ( like she knows i want to switch classes but i never told her why) . .what should i do ?

p.s. sorry its so long and kind of confusing

I like this guy that I went to school with last year and went out with him last year and the beginning of this year. I'm 17 and he is 16. I have liked this guy for almost 2 years now, and I am really young but I think I love him. The thing is, is that he never really talks to me.
In about the begining of the year last year i met this guy, his name is Kevin, and I went out with him out with him, we went to go see a movie and he gave me my first kiss. We broke up millions of time but we always went out again. One of the times we werent going out I went to the movies with him and he madeout with me...which was my first also. Before that happend he had told my cousin that he tlaked to online that he liked me as more than just a friend. We went out again and broke up. Three of the times that we broke up I had to got o the hospital because I was so devistated. He asked me out again and i said yes. This time things got a little more serious. I told my aunt that i was going to my friend sarahs house when really i was going to meet him at his friends house jeffro. things were getting hot n heavy and then jeffros mom wlaked in on me and kevin...3 dasys after that he left me. That was more than two years ago and I am still head over hill for him. what should I do, and is it true love?

Awwww sweetie that broked my heart. Offcourse love is good but when you're with the wrong person it just kills you. The thing is that you fell in love with the fact of you loving someone. You just got extremely used to him. hun 2 years is a loooong time.I know its hard and painfull but move on! forget about him. You will look back one day and rememeber the nice feelings but at the same time you'll laugh! his consciouns will be bothering him for the rest of his life because he knew he had someone who truly loved him and he let that person go. Right now hardly anyone could find the right person who will love them and take them serious, he will be hurt because he will remember he onced had that and he lost it. Ok, well I met this guys 3 weeks ago, and we both liked eachother a lot! I felt like I knew his hole life honestly I could of wrote a book on him. See, my sister and I we both like this guy right?! Well this guy has a girlfriend. But he took my sister to the store today and he was all saying how he likes her and he wants to kiss her and stuff. Hi, I'm 13 and 4 months and I havent ever gotten my period... :(. Anyway the last week-ish i've been noticing stuff and I think it may be coming soon. I am eating A LOT, like the equivilant of about 5 full meals a day. My skin is going from oily to dry to oily to dry and back to oily again, and I have more pimples than I've ever had before. My boobs are extremely tender too. Discharge isnt an issue, I've been having that all the time for like a year and a half, and it's the same as always.... what do you think? Might it be my time??
Ps- today i'm also a lil sick, like congested, but I think thats an outside issue, i dunno if it matters, oh well.

Ok, ok. I admit it. I'm not eating enough. But no one will leave me alone about it! I have this one teacher who's about to call my mom. I seriously don't want to eat more, but if everyone (like my mom) gets on my case about it, I will have no choice! I'm doing well losing weight! I have never looked better! And if everyone gets involved I'm gonna gain it back. Everyone always asks "What did you eat today" And when I say "nothing" they get all mad. How do I get them to leave me alone? Well i like this guy and he is so flirty and we are friends and we have been for about 4 years and now we hangout alot and talk alot and we have all the same friends and what not and he knows i like him cuz he asked me in a note (we have 2 classes together and he sits next to me) and i said well you but i dont want anything to change if you dont feel the same way. ok and so after i said that he wrote we need to hangout more. and everyday almost he tells me i looke really cute and tells his friends im so hott and because they ar my friends too then tell me...we have so much fun together and i think we would make such a cute couple cuz we are both open minded people and we are into the same things... my question is what do i do? like a few of my friends are like he is shy when it comes to that so ask him out. but i am too and i could never do that. whats a girl to do???

ok heres the thing dont ask him out but tell all your friends and his friends that you do have a crush on him and peck his cheeck and flirt alot! he will have to ask you out when you show him you are into him!!!! if he doesnt give him hints like play around with him that he is your boyfriend! if it doesnt work he probably just sees you as a flirting type of friend. I’m female, 15, and I hate everything about my family, I’ve always been rejected and pushed aside and neglected, my brother is the center of everyone’s life because he is such an asshole, my parents give him whatever he wants because they can’t stand to hear him rage and scream and say everything bad and hateful he could possibly say. I think they give him such free rein because he has turrets or however the hell you spell it and they just blame his bad behavior on it. They have always been too focused on trying to help my lying, trouble making, hates-the-world, asshole of a brother, so I can never feel anything- they can’t deal with me being sick, or sad, or angry, because they can’t help me, they’ve stopped trying because as soon as their attention would switch over my brother would do something and start screaming and saying shit about me, and how much he hated me and my parents and that everyone else does everything wrong, not him. My parents won’t get him help, they now take their anger at him out on me, they yell and scream at me when I tell them what I think of my brother and how I think they’re doing stuff wrong with him and how he needs help, my dad always punishes him at the wrong time when he’s actually calm, he can never say anything right to my brother, and then they ask me to go give him food or ask him stuff and my brother takes shit out on me. I hate everything about my family, I’m tired of being pushed around and neglected, and they’re making me into a person I hate, what can I do that doesn’t involve anything that costs money? because I’m not that rich. Plz help me, I’m honestly ready to kill myself.

Look first i just want to let you know that you have me even though im a stranger whenever you need someone im here. dont kill yourself i know it sux but hang in there! if you are in a school go to youre counselour he/she will find something for you that wont cost. seriously youre WHOLE family needs help! do that!

Hey well one of my friends has really bad stretch marks on her legs and she doesnt know how to get themm away or w/e i told her to tell her mom and she said thta she is too embarreseed too..and i am the only one that knows so how can she get rid of them?

aw! no she doesnt have to be embarrased tell her that her mom is brilliant (all moms are) shes shouldnt hide anything well what she can do is lay down on the floor and put her legs up and move them as if shes riding a bike like for 30 minuets she could stop a bit during the time then to get an anti cellulite cream or lotion they have them in rite aid save-on wal greens whatever! and to rub it on her legss but she must exercise!!!!! or she can run up hills backwords!

Well, awhile ago I offered to take this kid that used to go to our school to our dance so he could see he former classmates. I didn't mean it as a "date" type thing, but that's the way he took it. And now I don't really want to take him because I feel like I'll be leading him on if I do. :/ But there's more! I was single at the time, but (still am now) I'm really into this kid, and I really wanted to bring him to our dance. I'm really confused and frustrated! What should I do/ tell one of them?!
