Okay, so my hairdresser told me an inexpensive trick to get my hair dye out. It is a semi-perminent, but it isn't washing out at all. So, she said to use dish detergent. I've heard this trick before, so I decided to do it. I've only done it once so far and obviously it didn't do anything. That's what I expected. But.. to cut to the chase.. how many times should I repeat the process without damaging my hair into a frizzy poof-ball atop my head?

How bad is this dye? If your hair is ligher then you want, this isn't going to do anything and if it's too dark, it should get lighter. I would use the detergent every other day at most. Make sure you condition. I think after a while of washing it, it will fade also.

I have very curly hair. Not like super tight curls but its verry curly, puffy, and frizzy. What can I do to help keep the frizz down?
I have really curly hair (although I strighten it alot). First off, get it cut well to suit the curls. Have it layered with shorter layers on the top (not too short just a little shorter then the bottom). Then to style it... wash and condition your hair. In the shower while the conditioner is on it, comb it. Rince and get out of the shower. Don't brush your hair again. Squeeze all the water out with a towel (Don't rub!!! that will make it so frizzy!!) Use your fingers to fix it the way you want it. Then take a gel and rub it between your hands and apply it all over. As much as hard curls kinda suck, they hold and look nicer. Use hairspray if you don't care. If you want them to be soft, I would suggest insted of gel using a cream styling product (they are normally white) Let your hair blow dry.

well tomrrow night im going to this concert thing and im really not sure what to wear. I have a white tank top with flames on the bottom of it but what can I do to cover it up like a jacket?
I would say any type of sweater/sweatshirt (zip up)/jacket and I think it should be red, orange, (to match the flames) or black. I woulden't wear white.

I don't exactly pluck my eyebrows at all, but they aren't "bushy". Is there any tips to help me shape my eyebrows? Where do I pluck, and where do I not. I don't want my eyebrows to get too crazy, you know?
Go to a salon and have them waxed. This will give your eye brows a perfect shape and if you pluck often enough, they should keep their shape. Waxing only costs between $10-$15 and it's well worth it. Please don't try shapeing them yourself because even if you did one and liked it, it would be so hard to get the other one to match.

wat perfumes smell rlly godd but arent too expensive?
some drug stores have these perfumes that are made to smell like expensive perfumes but they are really cheep. I saw them at wallgreens.
My favorite perfume is So pink from gap. Gap has sevral nice ones, and as another person said Victoria Secrets has some good ones.

I think almost any color except I woulden't wear red just because then your hair won't stand out. For ideas I suggest watching tv and stuff ( as bad as it is to get ideas from there) but people like Debra Messing. Also I hate myself for not remembering but sometimes in the back of magazines I see little adds for this make up thats ment for red heads, it's mostly mascara and a few of those other things but maybe just search on google. Gosh, I wish I could remember the name.

I want to get rid of the hair on my upper lip. I don't want to get it professionally done, I want to do it myself. What should I try to remove it (I don't want to use a razor).
they sell this cream thats in a little bottle and you brush it onto your lip and wait a few minues and wipe it off. It works sooo well for upper lips. Look in the dipilitory cream section and make sure you get the one ment for lips and eyebrows, although i woulden't recomend it for eyebrows.

I wear G-strings, and how can I dress out for athletics at shcool without everyone in the locker room seeing my butt?? Some people go into the bathroom stalls... i dont really want to do that though.
my technique: my shirt for pe is long, so i put that on first so that when i take off my pants you can't see ne thing because my shirt blocks it. If that doesn't work, don't wear g-strings lol or face your butt to a wall.

1. You can use a tampon, or if it's light they have thong shaped pads. Or even when your on your period you kinda ehh so I just wear normal stuff then.
2. Tell her it's just underwear, and your not going to become a slut or anything.

4. If I was in your position, I would just wear cute victoria secret boy shorts or bikinies.

I would say to not go totally extreme, cut it to your shoulders and put some cute layers in it. Maybe bangs too, they've become really "in".

I have medium blonde hair and I want to dye the ends purple. Now, I'm worried that this will look bizarre and I'll have to cut it. So, I'm thinking about buying the temporary dye. I have two questions. First, do you think what I want to do with my hair would look weird, or do you think I would be better off putting a few streaks in it? My hair goes about halfway down my back. Second, what is a good type of dye that will wash out in one or two showers? The water at my house is kind of weird (It has a lot of chlorine in it) so I need a dye that won't react with the water and make my hair look weird after I wash the dye out.
Your going to have to bleach your hair before you put the purple in or it won't show up....

Hi. im a female at 13 years of age. And i need some advice. Ok so, I have a little bit of a flabby tummy. Its not a lot.. but i still feel uncomfortable with it. Most of the time in school I wear sweaters cause i dont want to show off my tummy. Christmas is sorta coming and I want some cute clothes that will look cute on me without people making fun of me for the little bit of tummy i have.

Ok wow, some of the previous advice is so wrong. Like don't wear a belt! It will draw attention to your hips/tummy which is where you want to draw the attention away from. Find a part of your body that you want to accentuate and wear clothes that accentuate that part (if you want to ask me what will accentuate what you want ask me) I think having a little tummy is cute. I used to have the same exact problem in middle school but as I got taller my tummy went away a little. I wore sweatshirts like everyday untill 8th grade when I was sick of it because I love clothes. Heres some good tips:
1. Make sure your jeans aren't too tight so that they dig in because then you hang over a little and it just looks bad
2. no stripes
3. if the shirt has anything on it make sure it's up on your chest not all over. A designe just on your chest will make you look so much smaller thats my number one trick!!
4. do wear curve hugging clothes, clothes that are looser will just make you look bigger. Big clothes make you look bigger, too small clothes will make you look bigger, perfect size clothes will make you look perfect.

Do u use an eyelash curler on your bottom eyelashes ? I dont think u do but my friend says ur supposed to.
I don't understand how you would. It'd be pretty hard to do it without pinthcing yourself. I guess the question about them looking good curled has the same answer as if mascara look good on the bottom. Personally I say just stick to the top.

It's not online, but if you go to your nearest outlet mall (an hour drive or more is worth the drive for this) they have TONS of prom dresses. Also right now, look at sales online at normal department stores. Sometimes they are still trying to more out last years dresses.

My hair has gotten really dry over the summer, because of the sun. the sea and because i straighten it all the time. Do you know any products or treatments which might help.
omg this same thing happened to me and listen! I switched salons and the lady said that my hair was so damaged that it might break off so listen up to the things you gotta do...
1) Don't use any hair products with achol (sp?) . That drys it out a lot. Go for all natural products like they sold me all this aveda stuff.
2) Don't wash your hair every day. Expecally since you strighten it like me. You won't have to put as much heat if you strightened it the day before. This seems totally grose to me but I washed my hair every day (sometimes twice) and it's so dry. The guy that cuts my hair was all, hair isn't ment to be washed every day, because the natural oils have to get into it to make it moist.
3) Some deep conditioner once in a while is good.

hey! well me and my friend are wondering if collared shirts are in style. Alot of our friends dress a little less conservative then we do, and they think that collared shirts are preppy. Even if u unbutton them and wear them with cute low rise jeans, is that still too preppy? or should we try a differnt outfit?. thanx
Do you want to be preppy with them? If you want to dress them down wear them over a t-shirt OR wear a t-shirt over the collared shirt. It's a little odd at first but it looks really cool.

im a freshman going into catholic highschool. we normally have to wear uniforms, but we have orientation on sept 1 and we can wear our own clothes. they said they have to be "dressy/casual" yet approriate, like no skin showing and whatnot. does dressy/casual mean that you should wear nice pants, or can you wear jeans? and im into REALLY standing out, i like wearing stripes, polka dots, bold bright colors, jewelry, bows... what do you think i should wear on that day... without being "inappropriate"?

Me to!! I would say go to MAC or any other department store makeup counter. It is SOOO worth it. I went to MAC this time last year before school started and got 4 eye shadows and just ran out and I used them every day of the year. The price is so reasonable for the quality and how long they last. It's such a good investment. Plus, they match you with colors that go good with your eye/skin/hair colors. They gave me a really pretty gold color for my lids and for my creese I had a brown that goes with it. It looks awesome.
