I don't exactly pluck my eyebrows at all, but they aren't "bushy". Is there any tips to help me shape my eyebrows? Where do I pluck, and where do I not. I don't want my eyebrows to get too crazy, you know?
esbeautiful1313 answered Sunday April 3 2005, 10:32 pm: You may want to go to a salon (usually hair salons, nail salons, or others) so that you can get them waxed. It doesn't hurt as much as it seems, and it is less painful then plucking, becasue instead of pulling 1 hair at a time, it pulls them all out at once. After this, you may want to return reguarly to have them waxed, or the first waxing can just serve as a shaper, so then all you have to do is pluck the stray hairs every once in a while.
Good Luck,

AngelofMusic answered Saturday April 2 2005, 2:29 am: Go to a salon and have them waxed. This will give your eye brows a perfect shape and if you pluck often enough, they should keep their shape. Waxing only costs between $10-$15 and it's well worth it. Please don't try shapeing them yourself because even if you did one and liked it, it would be so hard to get the other one to match. Already, if you're looking for the Britney Spears "arch" look, then start shaping your brows into an arch. It's like alittle hill, another words. Make sure when you do pluck your eyebrows that you hold the side of your eye, and pull the way you're plucking, it makes it less painful. If you're looking for the standard like, little arch eyebrow...then do like a what cha like look...just pluck a little, and look a little. If your eyebrows are long, then you can cut them as well...or trim them, not cut. Don't CHOP em girl!
Just a little trim, to make then not as long.
Welp, good luck!
Keeping ya in my prayers for the pain! *Wink*

When you pluck, do it when your pores are open, as in after taking a shower (it'll hurt less). Comb them into place and just pluck the stray hairs, the hairs out of the line of the natural brow shape. Focus on just the obvious hairs. Be very careful, don't pluck hairs on the top, and be very careful not to overpluck. Good luck! If you need anything else, just send me something. ♥ Kristen [ ballerina04's advice column | Ask ballerina04 A Question ]

Usually the tweezing method is the best thing because it looks more natural. When you pluck you go along the shape of your eye. Remember not to overdo it and make it too thin though! And also, it's the in thing nowadays to have thicker (but well groomed) eyebrows. Take Brooke Shields for example.
