I'm sure all of you know about those promise rings; the ones that say you're waiting for marriage. The most popular is the one that says, "TRUE LOVE WAITS" from James Avery. Well, they're made for the Christian faith. I really want a ring like that but I'm not Christian, I'm Muslim and the crosses on the ring would defiantly not go with my religion. Does anyone where I can get one without the cross (preferably with a crescent moon and star)? Or could I possibly get one specially made from James Avery?
Assilam Aleiykum. well it is good that you want one. i remember i got a promise card thing that is kind of like a contract that says i will wait until i enter into marriage. but ebay has the most inexpensive rings i personally think. and sometimes you can find a company that designs rings that will have the crescent moon and star on them. it just depends on how much money you have to spend. ok take care.

well ive been a christian since i was 7 but for the past year ive barely even prayed and i dont feel a connection with God..everytime i do pray i just ask for him to forgive my sins because im afraid if i died right now i'd go to hell..no matter what i do i cant seem to get it right and so lately ive just been putting it off but thats not right. how do i start to feel a connection to God again and stop feeling so empty spirutually?
well alot of people go through this, i know i did go through a trial after my carwrecks but i think what you need to do is go on a spiritual quest or so to speak. i mean like think about what you believe in and how you can change your life so you can be closer to God. also try a fast, it does bring you closer. i know it did when i fasted for 3 days, during that time all i had was water, i read the Bible, and i prayed. Afterward i accepted Islam, but it helps you realise what is important in life. And if that still leaves you with a void maybe talk to a preacher and have him answer your questions.

i've been wondering this for a while. you know how they say dinosaurs were extinct before people came around, but in the bible doesnt it say that adam & eve were born on one of the 7 days of creation?or was that after? i dunno, im confused lol

well the theory of dinosaurs used to be shunned by the church when they were first being discovered in America. Then later on we come to find that the dinosaurs were most thought to have become extinct due to a meteor shower or something of the such. but the in the beginning of time, according to the bible, some prophets (S.A.W.) lived to be like 400-900 years old. so my cousin asked me once if it was possible if they measured time differently then, for example a day could have been years? so just a theory but maybe the dinosaurs were created after man but were scientifically put in the wrong time eras.

I'm not big into church, I believe in God, but I can't stand going to church. I get bored out of my mind, and idk I just don't like going at all. I hate youth group too, everythings lame, and theres two girls there that are even close to my age, and I hate em both. My moms always trying to get me to go to church with her, but IDK how to tell her I don't like it at all!
Well first off, going to a house of worship, i.e. church....etc, is a way to be closer to God. it is a holy place and you should feel honored to be there, but just be straight with your mom. maybe if you learn and understand your religion more, you will enjoy going to church.

In the Bible doesn't it say that we shouldn't pray aloud to show off? That instead we should pray in the privacy of our own room? (not the exact words) If that is so then why do people go to church? I'm christain but I don't believe that going to church makes a difference in how we are seen in God's eyes. Everyone pressures me to go to church saying that it will "lead me in the right direction" but I don't think it matters if I go to church or not.

Well it doesn't matter where you pray as long as it is not used to show off, you are correct. however going to church is a way to share faith with a group, and strengthen you faith. For Christians church is the house of god, so it seems better to go, but you don't have to, just do it when you are alone. devote a time to God.

okay. i thought that this day, 6/6/06 was the day the anti-christ was supposed to be born. but everyone is saying we are all gonna die today, but the bible doesnt say anything about this. so what is actually happening today?
well nothing really. People also thought that the end of the world was Y2K. but it wasn't. only one person knows when it will happen, God, so we shouldn't even ponder when it will happen. it will happen when it will and nothing we can do will stop it.

i am really scared. (no this isnt anything to do ith 6/6/6 its just that 666 got me thinking of this) when the world ends, how exactly is it going to end? i do not have very good knowledge of the bible. i know that no one knows, but everyone says all this horrible ways like it will go up in flames. but why would god torture us like that? why can't he just make everything dissappear in a split second? why would god want to make the world end in a horrible way, and why would he even want the world to end. please explain this is a clear way cause im not good with this stuff. and pleaaaaaaaaseplease don't say "don't worry about it wont happen/it wont happen in your lifetime"
Well this is a very difficult topic that everyone thinks about sometime. first of all it's not just the bible that refers to the end of the world. but only one person knows when it will happen, that is God. But some religions think that it will happen like the meteor shower that took out the dinosaurs, some a nuclear bomb, and some think a holy war. but what ever happens, afterward eternity will start for everyone.

It is pretty much impossible for me to empathize/understand people who believe in God and religion. I am fully against both of them, for a long list of reasons that I don't need to go in to. The deal is, people tell me I'm being sacreligous/a heretic/going to hell, but I can't understand where they're coming from AT ALL. To me evangelists and deeply religous people just seem like pitiful, misguided puppets of a nonexistent power. It tends to screw up my relationships with people.... Any advice?
from both parts there has to develop some tolerance. everyone sees religion differently, so don't start fights about being religious, but if you show some tolerance toward other's oppinions then maybe they will show some toward you. not everyone knows someone who is against religion, so if someone asks you about it, explain it calmly.

i rele didnt no what to call this
last school year i was rele flat if u no what i mean and now im not but im not fake how do i get people to realize that? because all the guys think i stuff what am i suppose to do take off my clothes and prove it?
i went thro almost the same thing but in 1st grade.lol. just show strut them around and wear shirts that show a little cleavage but don't make you look like a slut. guys will do anything to see a girls breasts. or you could just push them to the side. good luck
