I'd prefer a Christian's (Methodist if possible, but just Christian will do.) opinion since everyone has different beliefs.
I am completely afraid of death. I always think I'm going to die in the night or doing something. And of course, there's what happens after death. I dont just want to "end" but eternal life is overwhelming to me. I mean forever is so long!!! (link)

I used to think the same way from time to time. But now I'm really looking forward to getting my eternal life. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking forward to dying on earth but I'm not really dreading it. 1st Corinthians 2:9 says: However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him." To me, that means that we can't even imagine how great it will be in heaven. I'm sure that once we get there, we're not gonna want to come back. So don't worry about dying. You'll be fine. Life on earth doesn't go on forever, but after we're done here, we've got a lot to look forward to.

Do you believe that "God" has already planned out our destiny, or do you believe we make our own destiny?
And do you believe everything happens for a reason, or do you feel that's just some clever line a thinker thought up to try to reduce the amount of stress and anger in our lives? (link)

I, being a Christian, tend to believe that God has already planned out our destiny. I think that we can make whatever choices we want to, but that God already knows what choices we will make and makes plans accordingly. That's what I believe. Hope I helped! HM911

Do you really believe that God is real just because a book was written saying there was one? Couldn't it be a fable?

i've always believed in God but my faith grew stronger when sept 11th happened. many people had the same "feeling" not to go to work that day. for that many people to report that same "feeling," something was not normal. coincidence? i think not. i believe that it was not their time to die so God told them not to go to work that day. like honestly, i dont see how someone can not believe in God. to me, its pretty obvious. ok well thats where i stand. hope i helped.
