Q: I am doing an essay "Is cloning right or wrong"

any ideas of what to inclue ;

I've written disadvantages,benefits,voting polls, different types of cloning etc

I want to do other people's opinion's but all I have found are just random people's opinions online - I'd like them to be from someone who states their job, particulary in the science industry

If you could find some opinions from other people, it needs to sound reliable that could help, and tell me some other things you think i should inclue

Q: here's the deal. i'm turning 18 in a little less than two weeks. i just graduated high school with honors and i have some great friends that i love and an amazing boyfriend that loves me and is wonderful to me. my parents are my biggest fans in everything i do, and i'm so grateful for them (and the rest of my family). so far this summer has been phenomenal- i've had crazy late nights with my girls, my boyfriend is coming on vacation with me on my birthday, i recieved a large amount of money for graduation so i've been able to do whatever i want, and my family is perfect. my parents got me a laptop for graduation, a printer as an early birthday present, and i got an awesome cell phone for christmas. all this has got me thinking, everything is so perfect, there HAS to be something about to go wrong.

my younger sister's boyfriend broke up with her tonight. he was going on vacation with us too. they've been dating a year less than my boyfriend and i have, and seemed fine. i feel so guilty, that everything in my life is great and hers isn't as much. it's starting to hurt my relationship too, because i keep reading and watching these silly romance novels and movies and i see how they act, and i feel like my boyfriend should be like that too (even though he's not outgoing/the romantic type at all). i feel like i'm on the brink of something bad, and it scares me like hell. god has blessed me in so many ways, and i'm sure i haven't deserved it all. anyone have a similar situation or any advice? thank you so much.

Life is full of ups & downs. the ups are always higher then the downs are lower.

right now your on an up. your sisters on a down. dont feel guilty because eventually shell be on an up too. just enjoy it! it wont last forever, so enjoy every second youu have of it.

Q: Okay so I have this rockin room! PURPLE everywhere I'm 13. It's not a little girly purple it's a little dard ALMOST gothic but not. I have this purple furry bed spread and chair, my bathrooms walls are purple 2 along with shower curtain towls & rug. IT"S like SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool. But thing is i just re did it for my 13th b-day.
But I don't it's everything I ever wanted but I just wish it was more...??? me?? Does that make sense. I covered all four of my walls with pictures of me and my friends and love notes from all of them. It took me all last summer! You could keep a diary. Record everything. And put it in a time capsul and keep it hidden somwher in your room until you graduate high school and on that night take it out. Keep music on at all times! Make urself a very "you" playlist!

You could write yourself little mental notes and inspirational stuff and put it on your ceiling and look at it right before you go to bed.

Q: my boyfriend is acting weird. he never lets go of things when i say nevermind. it's like he's constantly insecure. every time i'm trying to go to the bathroom.. he tries to come in too. he knows that I have PMDD [pms issues] and he constantly gets in my face [literally] and pokes me over and over.. THEN he says I'm "mean" and "moody" when he irritates me! What should I do? He seriously pisses me off sometimes but I have no idea if I'm overreacting !

tell him if he keeps acting this immature your gona break up with him. then give him examples. you need your space in the bathroom, you dont like being poked, and he needs to let things go somtimes when you say nevermind.

and you might want to stop saying nevermind as much. it really is annoying when someone wants to know what your saying.

Q: Alright, my friends and I [ages 16] are making a list of things we want to do this summer, only we need a little help. It's kind of like a bucket list, only for the summer.

They can be fun, or serious, crazy or simple, but nothing like "get drunk and drive to Mexico" or anything like that.

Q: I'm in photography, and our next assignment is portraits. We have to do self portraits and natural lighting [i.e. sunlight], which can be of anyone. For self portrait, I had the idea of doing a picture like this columnist did:

you should put the camera on timer and go a couple of times to get it right.

if i were you, i wouldnt look at the camera. i would look down or to the side or up but not at the camera. and curl ur eyelashes!

you could take some pictures near sunset so its kind of dreamy, not too much light. be sure to catch thesunset in the background! this also works for sun-Rise!

would your teacher let you take some at night? as dark as you can have it be where you can still barely makeout your features (without flash)

you could set up a tripod so it gets you at an angle from above, and have it take a picture of you sitting in the grass with flowers around, maybe one in your hair. makesure you arent looking at the camera, but looking down at the flowers or smiling at somthing dead ahead. maybe you could be reading a cool book like romeo and juliet or somthing.

Alright. This is just a question about priorities. But nobody on this website (or anywhere, for that matter) can decide your priorities for you. Because each person has their own.

So lets see the things going on in your situation. There is your boyfriend, who loves you but cant trust you because you are keeping secrets from him. lets make him A. Is it worth it to tell him, and save your relationship? Or is it more worth it to keep your secret (and your cell) but let your relationship suffter because of it?

Then, there is this man who you are sending pictures to. And you say you dont care about him at all. We can call him B. You have no reason to trust him (you actually have reason not to trust him, because he is doing somthing illegal) and yet, he has acess to all of your information since he is in control of your phone bill. If you were to get him angry, what would he do? What would he be capeable of doing? Could you handle that alone?

Then you have your mom. [C] . What would she think if she found out about this? And if you did tell her, would she help you out? What advice would she give you? Would she want you giving pictures to this man? Is it somthing she would do? Is it ruiningg your relationship, the fact that you need to hide the fact that you have a cell phone? Are you or your mom in danger since the man has your information? Just aspects to think about. Is it worth it to tell your mom, or not?

D is your cell phone. What is it worth giving up? Im addicted to my cell, so i understand. But is it worth all the trouble you are going through for it? Is it even worth getting a job to pay for? Or could you live without it? How important is it to you?
And finally, E. Thats your pride. How important is that to you? Important enough to have it stop you from telling your loved ones about the way you are getting money? But not important enough that it stops you from sending pictures of yourself to a strange man? What is your pride worth losing over? And what is it worth more then?

So youve got:
A: Boyfriend
B: Man
C: Mom
D: Cell
E: Pride

Now prioritise. In what order do you value these five things? Thats my advice to you. Figuire out your priorities, and act accordingly. If your cell phone is more important than anything, at all costs you should give up the others to get it. But if it isnt, you have some re-thinking to do.

Q: i spend a lott of time in my bedroom on a given day. even on the weekends, i stay up on my laptop talking to my friends, reading, or listening to music.

my room isn't particularly large, so i try to keep things reallyy simple and keep my tabletops clean and uncluttered. i'm pretty organized.

i want to make my bedroom more fun, literally. it's not that i lack things to do; i just want to make it more welcoming and bright.

however, here's where i'm having some issues, i don't want to repaint it and / or buy any new furniture. i'm not a big fan of wall posters because they seem to clutter my room and make it seem even smaller. i tried making polka dots and that looked cute for a while but i got bored of it.

how can i add color to my room without buying anything new, like bedsheets & lamps?

i know one tip i learned was to add a lot of lighting to your room to make it more fun in the nighttime. i already have three minilamps in my room, and my room is very well lit. what else can i do?

1. get a discoball!!! that would be fun.

2. i dont know if your too old for this, but you could put big stuffed animals all over the place.

3. you could put up framed pictures of your friends.

4. you could make a paper zig-zag that would go all around the room, going from top to bottom and back again. and tape pictures/memories on the zig zag.
