I watched Man on Fire a few hours ago, and after crying really hard I started crying even more when it said Mr. Creasy died on 12.16.2003. Now I'm confused, is Man on Fire based on a true story or not? If it is, I think I'm going to cry again. Thanks to anyone who helps. (link)

Wear cute earrings! ...For clothes... if you wear a skirt wear black stockings. ...I'm sorry I cannot offer many tips because I don't know what type of stuff you are into. I always wear either a scarf (well I am kind of stpping that odd trend) or neckaless. I always wear stockings/pantyhosxe uderneath my skirts. People are always asking me about my love life, like people at school. I have had a boyfriend before but that only lasted a week, and I always feel uncomfortable saying 'oh I've only had one boyfriend' when people ask. I know it's not a race or a competition as to who can get the most boyfriends, but it's starting to bug me and I don't want to lie and say I've had loads of boyfriends. The thing is, I'm just not emotionally ready to be in a relationship, and I want any relationship I have to be a long one, so I'm obviously gonna have less boyfriends than everyone else. I don't mind that, I just mind being embarrased when I say 'one'. How can I avoid these conversations, or what should I say when they come up? (link)

First of all, you don't have to justify yourself. If you don't feel comftrable ansswering that question, its okay. It doesn't matter why. Maybe you don't like telling people personal things or it could even be that competition stuff (I know its not becuase you said it wasn't, but I am just giving examples). Either way, it comes down to the same issue: YOU ARE NOT COMFTRABLE ANSWERING THAT QUESTION.
Its cool. Im not either. All I tell people is, "That's a little personal, don't you think?" and it works for me. It should work for you too. If they keep asking tell them to respect your privacy. It may seem weird t first if you are not used to keeping things frome people but you will get used to it and they will get used to it and people will be more considerate when they ask you that type of question.

I'm a 15/f and I me and my family are thinking of going on a cruise this summer. None of us have ever been on a cruise. I get sea sick pretty easily, but I heard that on a cruise since the ship is so large, you don't get sea sick. Is this true? Also, what was your experience like on a cuise and which cruise line did you take? Lastly, we are debating about where to go on the cruise (it's between Alaska and the Caribbean)... have any of you been on one/ both of these cruises, which one did you like more... or what was your experience with one of them. Actually I have taken three cruises... twice the Ecstacy Carnival ship. The first time I did NOT get sea sick but... once in a smaller ship which's name I do not recall I got sea sick but I was in a crowded room and stuff... they actually have pills right there incase you DO get sea sick. I was only sea sick for a little while, then I was OK. But in the Carnival I was never sea sick. Being in a cruise is really nice becfause there's lots of things to do and see on the ship and they are all nice to you and they do that animal-towels chocolate-on-pillow rutine every day. Anyway, well we went to the Caribbean. We got out hair brbaded therer but it was really expensive. In the Carribean they normally have expensive prizes prepared specially for toursists (lol). Seriously! Well I was a preteen when I went... and there were people my age. There were actual teenagers too. They have like an arcade for the kids and a game room to rent a board game and... libraries... the teenagers were skmewhere there. And there were some college people just reading...

There's this kid named Brian, whos liked me since 2nd grade, and I've liked him since 5th grade. We're now in nineth grade. (freshmens) and There's this huge dance in April called Freshmen dance. He asked me to go with him, and I said yes, but he heard from my best friend Charles, that I was going with him, Of which I'm not. So Brian went and asked this 8th grader to the dance, and he PROMISED he'd take her. So now he's saying he'll break it off with her so he can go with me. I really don't know what to say. I'll feel bad for the 8th grader, but I really don't know. Should I stop him from breaking it off with the 8th grader? Or should I let him? Please help. Sry its so long! (link)

Well that's a good question. ...I wonder how the 8th grader feels. ...I think that the best thing to do (since its a somewhat delicate situation) is to have him explain to the 8th grader that if she wants to go they will only be going out as friends. The 8th grader may be hurt (maybe... maybe she won't) but its important that she understands this and in the end its the best thing for her. But she could still go and have fun. If she wants to go and you want to go what you should do is have him take her and stuff and you go with your friends and meet in the dance. If the 8th grader makes friends (hint: maybe Brian can introduce her or distract her with some of his friends) you and Brian can dance and stuff.

Ok, well I heard this one person say "I think he was hitting up on me". What does 'hitting up' mean?? If it helps, the person who said it was a guy in high school, a junior I think. Well there might had been an irony... for example a guy who they thought was gay in the basketball team started hitting the other guy's feet with the basketball and then his kneees and then his thies and then his stomatch... L.O.L. I'm such a dork. I;m sorry i really don't know what hitting UP means and I apologyze for being stupid and wasting your time (L.O.L.) I just wanted to reassure you maybe the guy messed up by saying "up" or maybe like I said there was an irony to it that you did not hear about.

ok... i dye my hair blonde. my natural color is a dark blonde-light brown. But when you dye your hair it grows back darker. Now my roots come back really dark so it's hard to get them to match the rest of my hair which is light blonde. I've been to hair places but it usually has a tint of orange to it. does anyone else dye their hair and know what im talking about? what do you do about it? what should i do about it? (link)

I've dyed my hair "MidnightBlue" (its a dark blakc with a blue glowy-ness to it). My hair was already some kind of black so I guess all people noticed was that it didn't look so blueISH anymore. Anyway, your situation is hard and there's really nothing that can be done. ...Especially since your hair is darker than the dye. You can either dye your hair darker than its real color or just deal. If you decide to deal with it don't worry, hope is not all lost. You can re-dye every 6 months. Although if you dye too often and for a long time eventually (like in a few years) your hair starts falling off. So be careful!

Maybe if she took you shopping... or a gift card (l.o.l.) I'm sorry, those are crappy gifts, I know. The Sims sounds pretty cool. Blank CDs are much of a "whole" gift... but she could throw that in too. If she's going to hrow in nice little presents a cool belt is a good idea. Mabybe an actual CD. She could take you to Borders to shop (it's cool, they sell a lot of books, CDs, movies, and a few other stuff). ...A digital camera is a good idea so your list is OK as it is. ...Maybe even a pet?

Hey, well I go to a Church and we are having some problems getting more people come to our youth group. My brother asked me to figure out some stuff girls can do at youth group. Because the guys always play sports and the girls dont like it so we dont play and were bored. So what are some of the stuff girls can do? I thought about cooking..like making a quick snack for all of us but thats all I have. If you can help me with more ideas I'd appreciate it. Youth Group? Church? Hehe... Yeah, I don't do that. But I do have some ideas. Maybe you can arrange fund-raising activities. Bake sells... selling chocolates... or just trying to recrute people (just don't pressure anyone). You can maybe even do volunteer stuff.
