Bus Transportation..
Me n my friend want to write something to the mayor of our town about how we want buses and/or taxis in the town. but we arent sure what to do.. does anyone have any suggestions of what we can do/write to the mayor?

The most important thing is to be clear about what you want. Tell him exactly what you want and why it is necessary. Remember there's strength in numbers. You can organize a letter writing campaign and get many people to write letters to the mayor. You can also get everyone in the community to sign a petition. Hope I helped.

brainstorm !! think about what you want to haappen and what you want the writing to be like !! its all about the impact on the reader if you leave a good impression in the writing and state the facts and the advantages it just might happen .

Tell them why you need taxis and or buses to get from one place place to another. and also kids that walk to and from school dont to get kidnapped or something! Hoped i helped

tell him how u why u need busses/taxis and then tell him how it will be good for ur town. tell him who it will help and why it will help then (such as workers ppl without cars) tell him how it will help the town earn money etc..ask ur mom or a teacher or u could even ask the fire department or police department? who knows..but make sure ur note to them is VERY persuading. hope i helped

I agree with Notso. You need a petition because the mayor wont just listen to two people. So get a petition for people to sign or if its easier go to www.petitiononline.com and get a petition online and then you can print it out after you think you have enough. go to churches, houses, friends, family, etc. etc. good luck.

Basically state what you want to happen (ie We the undersigned believe that our town is in need of buses or taxis... or something of that effect ) and get a whole bunch of signatures of people in your town. You most likely aren't the only people who believe your town needs public transit.

Be persuasive and show the mayor how you really feel about the situation, you have to make the mayor believe that your suggestion is correct, don't forget to write formally and use some of these techniques that are sure to make him take your point of view in mind
Use statistics in your letter, do a survey of how many people would like transports in your area
Write quotes in your letter of what people have said about this idea
Always say posotive things about your idea

Well, just write him/her and say `In our town we don't have buses and mii parents can not drive me all the time so that means ii have to walk to school almost all the time, and it gets kind of far. So could yuu please supply our town with buses?` Just say something like that, and ii don't know if yuu have to walk or whatever but yah. Hope ii helped!

Well you could start a protest and get the local papers involved, that would be cool. If you're going to write a letter i would just express my opinions clearly and amicably as possible. Oh and run it by someone who's good with letters and literature before you send it.
