i would say not be shallow and if u have feelings for him, go for it! there has to be a mix between like physical attraction and like emotionally attracted....but dont not give a guy a chance because he doesnt fit ur description of a perfect guy....

You see, whenever I fly on airplanes, I usually get airsick, and I begin to throw up. But just a few months ago, I didn't throw up, so I was pretty happy. But last week, I just found out that my bf's mom invited me to Las Vegas, so we're taking a plane. I'm really scared that I'll throw up. AND I don't wanna be ashamed. What should I do to keep me from puiking? It seems so uncool typing this on an advice column but no one knows who I am anyways.

There are pills you can by at a drug store that are meant for those sort of things...they are by like all the tylonal and stuff, i dont know the name but its for boat sickness and everything! Good luck and have a great time in VeGaS! xoxo

ok when im with my friends i always say tha tlike the jocks & stuff r hot.. which they r and alot of the times ill like them.. but when it comes to actually likin sumone and being in relationships i choose the guys that my friends think r not hot.. like i go for personality not looks... a good body is just a plus.. and my friends r always like y r u with him, hes ugly, u could do so much better., but i dont want to do better i like the guys that im with... how can i make my friends see that id rather have a guy with a soso body & a great personality than a guy with a great body but cant even make me laugh...???

ok im 16 and i was best friends with this girl and it always seemed like she liked every guy i liked.. i really liked this kid and of course she liked him too and he liked me but he didnt think i liked him so he asked her out instead.. she started to ignore all her friends for him and now she has no one but him practically... they have been dating for almost 8 months and he isnt "allowed" to hang out with any other girls because she will get mad but lately he has been hanging out with me again behind her back and he says he likes me and he always talks about "us" (me and him) and when he breaks up with his girlfriend how he wants to be with me.. i like him but i dont know what i should do because i think that it looks really bad on my part... if he breaks up with her should i go out with him or no? whoever he picks- me or her someone will get hurt in the end.. so i just dont know what to do.. please help sorry its so long and confusing

Ok, this is definetly a sticky situation! You just have to weigh How important your friend is, compared to a boy! Now the boy, to me, doesnt seem like someoone you should be intrested in! He is already going behind his g/fs back for u, and who is to say IF you got with him he wouldnt do the SAME thing with another girl ya know... Iwould say that you shouldnt go out with him, because that would break your friends heart even more! Even though she hasnt been around lately maybe give her a second chance...its up to you because i dont know how much you value yours and this girls friendship, but if its important to you at all, i wouldnt go out with him because it could ruin you two! 1. Stay with ur boy and forget about the other or...
2. Break up with him and go for the other

Now...If your REALLY intrested in another guy it makes me wonder how much you like your boyfriend...If you really do like him, i personally wouldnt give it up to try going out with someone you dont know if youll get with.... But if you feel like your relationship is on the rocks and you are wondering away, i would break up with your b/f so you dont hurt him...good luck sweetie!

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 5 months and are going to celebrate our half year anniversary on August 28. The problem is I have no idea what to get him! I think he's getting me a promise ring, which is sweet beyond believe but I don't have anything to match it! When I bring it up though he just says "the only thing I want is you". in 2 weeks i am going to visit my friend on the east coast and i haven't seen him for 9 years. i want him to think i look pretty good but i have really low self confidence and that makes me feel ugly even tho i kno im not. so is there anyway i can kinda build self esteem by the end of the month? i just want to feel confident.

Maybe if you start to run/go to the gym/yoga/pilates will make you feel healthier and therefore better! Also just watch what ya eat! Dont diet but if you really dont need a cookie dont eat it ya know~! Maybe also cut back on watching tv....for me im obsessed with magazines like us weeklt, cosmo, glamour,vogue etc...and the more i read them the jealouser (i dunno if thats a word..) i get ya know! Also, get a calander, and for everyday write down something you like about urself, or something u did that u were proud of no matter how small it was (not eat candy...etc) Then at the end of the week if you could compliment yourself everyday, go and buy something!!! it will feel rewarding~! honestly, you need to just tell him that he could be gone 2morrow! Being a sister or a brother is like the most important bond/friendship you can have! They are always going to be there for ya when other flake out....tell him that you didnt mean to rub it in his face but that he needs to aprreciate his brother because you never know what can happen. Ok so theres a guy I met like last year and I was actually 14 then. I met him when he was down on vacaion. We tried to make it work but it didn't because he never moved down because his dad found a job up there. I still know his AIM/Email. Should I try to contact him? What should I say? This sounds crazy but I think about him all the time and love him sooo much. I'm sure the love is strong enough the distance now wouldn't be a issue. What should I do?

My advice would be to email/im him! Dont get all lovey dovey at first because you dont want him to be like "woah!" Talk to him and tell him u miss him and stuff and have been thinking about him! See how he responds! If he says that he still think about u and stuff maybe tell him ur still crushin on him, if he doesnt act intrested though, its all good. I promise there is the perfect guy out there for ya~ k sweetie! I hope it all works out but for sure talk to him!!!!
