So I like this guy and I think that he likes me back but I'm 16 and he is 18 about to turn 19. I have never dated an older guy before so I don't know if that is weird or not. Hi, well think of it like this. You're 16, would you date a guy who is 13? 14? Once you realize that, consider that your maturity level is much different than his . He has 3 more years of life experience than you do. Also, he is an adult, you are a minor. With that being said, he has to be careful about what he says and does to you. Do what you feel is right. Are you his girlfriend? Have u made that official together? If so, maybe he's just nervous around you. Guys say a lot of things while texting but fewer things in person sometimes. Just confront him and simply ask why he acts different when around you. His answer may surprise you. It's better to know than to wonder. I'm pretty sure it's just his nerves though:)

i was texting my boyfriend last night, and he texted me so i texting him back, and after i texted him back...he didnt text me back for an hour...i waited and waited but i fell asleep. he texted my bestfriend shortly after(shes our wingwomen) and told her that i was ignoring him, when really i was just asleep, i woke up with 6 new text messages and 2 missed calls, i told him this morning that i wasnt ignoring him and that i fell asleep...he hasnt texted me back and i'm worried...do you think i'm over reacting? Every woman is worth the wait, even I'd it is a little thing like a text message. He should have simply expressed to you that he was kinda user you didn't reply the next day, but he was Immature by going to your friend about it and ignoring you. So now he is ignoring you trying to teach you a lesson to never fall asleep on him again. Sounds dumb right? It is. He shouldn't be acting that way. All I can say Is wait it out. Hey, I went to a restaurant five days ago with a friend of mine. I know a guy that works at the restaurant. When I went to that restaurant I had no idea he was going to be working there at that day. I hardly speak to him and whenever I do, I always ask him to help me out or ask him for his advice. That day he saw me and asked hey, Julia how are you? and I said hey Johnathan and smiled. And I continued talking to my friend. He then asked so what are you up to tonight or what are you up to? I can't remember exactly which one it was but it was one of the what are you up to tonight and what are you up to? I have hardly seen him around and this was after a long time I had seen him but before that I had asked him to help me out with something and he tried helping me out he did not mind. So I just said to him oh just with a friend and yeah. And he was like oh okay. So I would like to know what did that mean? Did he want to do something or ask me to do something with him or was he just asking a question as we were just standing in a line and he wasn't serving he was just behind the counter and then walking around serving other customers and cleaning up dishes from the tables. So what does it mean? Was he just being customer friendly or he wanted to do something or what? How would I know if he likes me and stuff? Does he like me or what? Well let start off with this. Seems like you've been going to him for advice only. If you like him, start getting rid of that friend vibe:) flirt with him, compliment him, tell him the things you like about him. He might just as well like you back. He probably is feeling the same way about you:) he just doesn't know for sure if you like him because your only going to him for advice. So change the way you talk to him. Ask him on a date. Ask him what he likes to do and pick a date that you both would enjoy, but PLEASE do not go to the movie theatres. That's the worst first date. You can not talk or get to know him that way. Go somewhere fun. You just gotta let him know you like him. I guarantee that will allow him to show his feelings for you too. :)
