Yes but you still did not answer my main question... what did it mean by him asking me what are you up to tongiht? or what are you up to? mainly what are you up to tonight? what did he mean by that? was he bring customer friendly or was he actually wanting to do something together??

Well you caught his attention. I'm sure he doesn't go around asking a stranger what they are up to tonight. he asked a specific question. He probably was interested in what you were doing because he wanted to be part of ur plans . He was being both customer friendly and wanting to do something with you. Next time make him part of your plans:)
