You don't truly love her. If you do, you have no respect for yourself. You need to respect yourself before you can be involved in any loving, normal relationship. The first step is...forget about people who treat you like shit! This girl doesn't care about you at all. She might even strongly dislike you! You can do so much better. Back off and leave her alone, it's what's best for both of you. It's time to move on.

Q: i love my boyfriend... he got a really cool phone... should i steal it? i love him but i love his phone even more!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha. No don't steal his phone. If you call people with it his family will still get the bill, and even if they don't figure out it's you who has it they'll cancel the plan and then you won't be able to use it! Plus your boyfriend will probably be grounded forever because he lost his phone (which since it's so cool probably cost a LOT). Plus, he's your boyfriend and he needs to trust you. Don't betray his trust like that! Besides, if you end up married, he'll probably buy you a house with an in-ground pool and a ferrari and all sorts of awesome stuff, plus ten of those cool phones. If you steal his phone, he won't want to marry you.

Q: 16/f-my friend joe says he likes this other girl to me, but then he goes and tells the whole school he likes me. He knows i used to like him a little but now i think of him as a horny 16 year old with no personality. which is pretty true. But also i wouldnt mind having a little something more with him because we're good friends and it's not like i hate him or anything. But when i ask him about it he says he dosent like me. However at a party i couldnt get to he was telling all his friends he liked me and needed to come get me so he could tell me, and was just going on and on about me all night. He was also drunk. do u think it was just a drunken moment and he just wanted to hook up, or was it real?

I think you're right. He's just a horny kid. He might have on and off feelings for you, or just be really shy about telling you how he really feels, but he doesn't sound worth it to me. Continue to be his friend, but I'd leave it at that, though in the end it is your decision. Try your best to get some honest answers out of him before you do anything sexual, though.

What does he like? Get him a movie he enjoys, or a book. Or make him something special like a picture frame with a pic of you two in it, or a cake, or a pillow or something. I'm sure he'll love whatever you give him.

Talk about whatever you normally would, like what you want to do in the future, where you want to go to college, if you ever want kids, if you think you wanna travel. But don't do that at the movies. You're not allowed to talk during movies.

It sounds more like he's just really shy and wants a friend. Don't get too worked up over somebody smiling at you. Get to know him better and then start thinking about a relationship.

Q: ok im 13 years old and i havn't madeout. everyone else my age has. and because i havnt they call me prude. i really want to and one of my best guy friends wants to with me and he has madeout before. im afraid to though because i dont know how. and lastnight there was a guy 2 years older then me that wanted to but i said no because i was afraid. should i makeout with my guy friend and have him figure out i havnt before or do you think im gonna be to afraid to? PLEASE HELP! i have school on monday.*i rate 5's*

You can makeout with him if you want, but I think that you would be doing it for all the wrong reasons. You want to be like everyone else, you want to be popular, etc. But making out with this boy will not fulfill you for very long. You are human; you will ALWAYS want more than you have. You are quite young and have the rest of your life to makeout...I am seventeen and I have only kissed a boy once and never even dated (unless you count cute little preschool "dates", which I usually don't) Many people do not do anything like dating or making out until late highschool or even college. Try to rise above other people's expectations. So they call you a prude. There are worse things that can happen. You are who you are, and you don't have to do what everyone else is doing to be happy. Always be true to YOURSELF. Think about the consequences...they get you to makeout, they realize they can get you to do ANYTHING. And this boy will most likely makeout with you once and then never want to talk to you again, or spread rumors about how easy you are. Not everybody you know has madeout, and many of them could be lying. You can take the chance and make out with the boy if that is what you want, or you can decide that you would rather not at this point in your life. In the end it is all up to you.

Q: My four friends and I were at the movies the weekend after school was out. So naturally, lots of people were there, including my crush. Don’t know him at all, to tell the truth. He goes to a different school, a couple years older- you know. I know him from friends and church and just other stuff. Anyways, we happened to go to the same movie lucky for me, and then his friend starts talking to us. And before we knew it, we were invited to my crush’s end of the year party that was the next day. My crush’s friend asked the address and stuff and my crush told him and the times and all that. So it was ok with my crush that we were going/invited. He knows who I am. Does this mean anything do you think that he was ok that we were going. I mean, he's older and all that, so it would be strange if we had showed up. What do you think? And any other thoughts?

Well, as far as "meaning anything", I would not get my hopes up that you guys are going to be girlfriend and boyfriend now. But I think that he likes you in a platonic way (and maybe he's thinking about you romantically--just a little, though). If he invited you to the party, you should definitely show up! If you don't, you will regret it forever, trust me. Or...did you mean you didn't go and now you are not sure about it? A little hard to tell. Well, if it hasn't happened yet I think you should go to the party and if you already didn't go...talk to the guy! Make other plans with him, maybe.

Q: Me and this guy (lets call him Joester haha) are friends with benifits. His friend told me that Joester wants to make out with me. Part of me wants to that way I could piss off my x-best friend and because Joester is really hott. If you want to make out with him, do it. You don't have to do any "gross stuff", if he wants to just tell him no and if he continues pressuring you, beat him up and run. But pissing people off isn't really a good reason to make out with someone, neither is "because they are hott". But it's your life, your decision.

Q: Everyone is still saying that my boyfriend is bi. And I really like him though. It's just really hard to deal with when some of my good friends are telling me that the person they trust their life says they saw him making out with a guy! It's really bothering me! I mean he's so sweet and nice and everything, but if he really is bi I don't really wanna go out with him...ya know? Someone please help me!
Well, first of all, you shouldn't believe what everyone is saying. Talk to your boyfriend about it. Secondly, you need to ask yourself the exact reasons that it bothers you. Nobody can understand you better than yourself. Personally, I think that it doesn't matter if he is attracted to boys. He is your boyfriend, he loves you, and that's great...you can talk about hot guys together. But I know it's not as simple as that. You are confused and it will take a long time for you to accept him. But I think it would be in your best interest to atleast try to accept your boyfriend the way he is. If the relationship doesn't work out, oh well, that's what relationships do. But don't run away from your problems because of rumors.

Chinese checkers. Girls love that. Especially us gorgeous ones.
I also like beaches and picnics under the stars. And picnics under the stars on beaches. If a guy did that for me, he'd completely win me over.

It's not really "bad" but it's kind of lame and dorky. It's better to just ask him in person, maybe you are shy but you're just gonna have to get over that. Not to be mean, but if you can't even ask a guy out, you should probably not be dating atleast for a couple of years. Have courage and good luck!

Q: Ok well my friend and I when we were like 13 We kissed (she's a girl) because neither of us had been kissed before! But I realyy like this boy that likes me back a lot. We've gone on dates and kissed. But the kiss with him seem's real and when I kissed my friend it was just an example. Now my friend is OBSESSED with me, I mean I told her the kiss wasnt real and she is just obsessed! My boyfriend HATES her and now I'm starting to hate her! Please help!

If you feel like you hate her, just tell her nicely that you need some time apart. She's most likely questioning her sexuality, which is really hard to deal with, and I think a good friend would support her. Maybe try finding her a girlfriend? Or just tell her that you don't really mind if she wants to fantasize about you, but you don't want to be involved with her in that way. She might take that the wrong way, though. Basically, I think you should help her figure out what's going on with her (like if she really is going through a tough time with her sexuality), hook her up with someone, and spend some time away from her. Good luck, and don't stress, this isn't worth losing a friendship.

Q: I've always wondered this...
Why do teens think that they "need" a boyfriend or girlfriend? What's so great about it?
I follow that at least in high school and college it's kind of a time to experiment with relationships and all, but I just don't really follow why teens think they "need" someone, especially since a lot of it seems to end kind of painfully for people.
Anyway, long story short, I'm confused about why people think it's something they need, why they seem to look so hard for it at a young age, and what's so great about having a boy/girlfriend.
Thanks.

Maybe because it seems like everyone does it...peer pressure, you know. Plus they're lonely and angsty and horny. And when your friend invites you to the mall and her boyfriend is there too and they spend the whole time kissing and trying to avoid you, you kind of wish that you had a boyfriend so you could kiss him in front of her...see how she likes it...bitch.
Those are my reasons, anyway.

Q: What's the best way to tell a girl how you feel about her? School's over so I can't tell her there. I could get her screen name from one of her friends and tell her over IM but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Please help. I'm 14 and a guy.

Well do you know where she hangs out? Like maybe at the mall or the park? If you have no idea how to contact her irl, I say get her screen name and plan to meet her somewhere. Then tell her in person. And give her a rose, unless she's allergic. And if you can write, give her a poem. If you can't write, find a poem somebody else wrote. I like "She Walks in Beauty" by Lord Byron. You can get it at http://www.bartleby.com/101/600.html
Good luck!
If she rejects you, she has no idea what she's missing. You sound super sweet.

Q: okay. so i dated this girl for a while. and we seemed to have a really good connection with each other. we were into the same things, we were both sarcastic smartasses, and we both liked doing the same kinda stuff. and well when i met her she was in the process of breaking up with her boyfriend. and so i was more of the friend to turn to than anything else. then slowly we started to date like after they broke up. and for about a weekend we were very into each other, and things seemed to be wonderful. then as the weekend ended she said she didn't feel the same way about me as i did about her. and so i decided to sit back and wait until she was really ready for a relationship because after some talking we kinda realized she needed some time to get back into the swing of things. and it was during this time that she began to change. she became mean, she began just totally ignoring me for days on end. the phone calls ceased. there would be whole days when i'd hear nothing from her. then i'd talk to her a bit and that was it. and now finally i come home to find out she spent the last couple days drinking, partying, and hanging out with sleazy guys. and i instantly became very mad and jealous. and i just wanna know. is it wrong for me to be mad? for me to not want her around? for me to tell her she's changed and become someone i don't know anymore? i told her not to contact me any longer, and that she had become someone else, someone i didn't know or love. and now in hindsight i kinda wanna know: was it wrong?

It's okay to be angry. Your feelings are never wrong, you just need to choose the best way to deal with them. She is obviously going through a tough time, and if she wouldn't let you help her, I think letting her go was a good decision.
And not to be picky but next time please capitalize all words at the beginning of the sentence as well as the word "I". It makes it less painful to read.

Q: I have a girlfriend, and we've been going out for about 4 months now. Note: I'm also a girl. I think my parents are starting to catch on bc I've spent every single Friday at her house for the last 3 months or so, since we've been going out. I've stopped spending time with a lot of my other friends, and it seems I only have time for her. I try to tell myself that I need to start seeing my friends more, but every weekend I just can't bare not being with her. Especially because she has a rough past, and she is on house arrest and can't come up to me. She was also thrown out of my school and goes to a school far away where I cant be with her. She's a grade ahead to. Anyway, the point of this is because I don't know wether or not I should tell my parents about me and her. They've seen me come home with hickies, and almost stopped letting me see her. I think I'm falling really hard for her, and I think it could be love. Every second not spent with her I feel so lonely. I'm afraid of what the outcome will be if I tell my family about my relationship. I think they know that I'm gay, because my mom makes fun of me for it all the time. I'm not asking for anyone to solve my problem, because I know that no one can, but I'm looking for advice

I think it would be better if you tell them, and if they don't accept you, run away and live with your girlfriend. I'd love to give you more detailed advice, but I'm really tired and busy working on stuff and this is the best I have. Just know you have my support!! =D
